I was in the area and needed to replace a 65" tv that went bad. I was amazed when I walked in and sore a representative all alone by the tv's. I spoke with Ryan who was very knowledgable and very friendly. He told me the differences between 2 of the tv's I was looking at. I was very impressed as I looked around I saw many store reps around. The last time I went to my Best Buy near my house there was like 2 people handling customers and that was it. This store seems to be great for customer service. (Best Buy Cranberry Township PA) So much to say here: We needed to replace a 6 year old LG TV that failed, we can no longer physically install a big TV by ourselves. 1. We did not price check, and make sure to include not just the installation cost, but also the cost of removing and disposing of the old TV. So in total, we probably over paid. 2. We accepted the BestBuy credit card and did not attempt to use the "store credit" that was promised, which had to be used in a certain amount of time. 3. We went to the store to make a second payment, specifically to pay off the balance of aprox $450, and we were told by the Best Buy employee that the TV was now paid for in full. A few days later when we got a bill for $40 we thought this bill was incorrect because we had been told at the store that the bill was paid in full. We should have inquired, but we did not, as the $40 was for accrued interest and a late fee because the payoff had been paid two days late. Approximately a month later, we got a phone call from Citibank that we now owed them over $82. Citibank demanded on the phone that we pay either with a debit card within 24 to 48 hours) or immediately give them our checking account number and bank routing number. (We questioned even if this was a legitimate phone call as they would not accept payment with a different credit card) At that point, I went to the BestBuy store and paid in cash the $82 amount (which was all interest and penalty fees). Then I asked the manager of the store if I could cancel the credit card at the store and he said that is not allowed! He gave me a phone number and asked me to go to my car and call from the car. At that point, I was eventually able to get through to the Best Buy credit card representative and close the account. If I would've just used one of my existing credit cards to buy this TV, I would not have had to go through all of this, (which has now probably reduced my credit rating) My Summary: As you look at the reviews for this store, use the sort feature and sort by the latest reviews so that you are looking at other recent reviews that were left here within the past year or so. Then you can make up your own mind about whether you want to give this company any of your business, and/or open any credit with this company. read more

If I could give this store a -STAR that would be generous. We purchased an apple cell phone screen saver with replacement warranty. When my screen saver cracked, I returned to Best Buy for a free replacement. I was told that the store no longer stocked the size that fit my phone, and that I would have to contact the manufacturer who warranted the screen saver, who happened to be 1 1/2 hour drive from me. The manufacturer also stated the screen saver was free, but it would cost $20 to install it! When I advised Best Buy of this and sought reimbursement, the manager basically said "tough shit", they could not help me. Needless to say, we will never shop their again! read more

Just visited Best Buy in Cranberry, PA - Store #825. I went in to buy a computer and left without purchasing it. At the checkout, I opted to buy the Microsoft 365 subscription, too. I had seen on one of the computers that if you bought the subscription at the same time you bought the computer, the subscription price was discounted by $20. RJ, the nice young sales guy, called his supervisor to approve the purchase/discount. STERLING, the self-described manager/supervisor, said the subscription was already discounted. He then proceeded to show me the signage which held all the Microsoft 365 cards. The sign said "$99." In miniscule writing, not discernible without my glasses and at below eye level, requiring anyone over 4' tall to stoop, there was wording to the effect of: "with membership plus." STERLING then told me that the price of said subscription was really $125, and this $99 represented the discount. NOWHERE on the signage was there a price of $125. Additionally, the $20 offered to those also purchasing a computer would have put the sale/discounted price of the subscription at $105, not the $99 on the signage. This seemed like a "bait and switch." Best Buy seems to use intentionally deceptive advertising. Additionally, STERLING added a $49.99 (or somewhere around that amount) "membership fee" to my invoice. I asked him what that was for, and he commented "so that I could get the $99 price on the subscription." I told him that made no sense and to take it off. He said he just put it on there to "show me." As this discussion was happening, STERLING continued to raise his voice in addressing my concerns. He was not yelling, but he was speaking very loudly and aggressively. He must have been taught that "he who speaks the loudest is the rightest." How is it that Best Buy does not train their employees in the proper way to interact with customers? Perhaps it is because they are a big conglomerate and one little person with an $800 expenditure means nothing to them. Perhaps it is because they intentionally seek out rude, fast-talking, loud talking, don't-care-about-the-customer employees. The fact that all the Best Buy stores in the Pittsburgh area carry only 1-2 stars on their Yelp reviews speaks volumes about the company as a whole. Best Buy is not the best buy. Purchased a new 65 " TV from Best Buy in Cranberry Pa. I will say that I had a great experience with the sales rep. They did not have my model in stock so they offered free delivery. Reviewing their schedule they told me 8 days out. Knowing I could get it quicker from Amazon I opted to give the local store my business based on the rep being so helpful. Well 8 days later it was supposed to be delivered between 10:07AM and 2:07 PM. 4 PM I called to see where it was. The told me it cannot be delivered today. Nobody called, texted or emailed to inform me of the change. They Just let me sit there all day waiting. Then the topper was the next available date was 2 weeks out!!! I already waited 8 days!!!! I did what I should have done in the first place. I canceled the Best Buy order and purchased from Amazon. Free delivery in 6 days carried into my room of choice. When I bought my HP Office jet pro 9025e I also ordered additional inkjets for it. They were shipped on 9/2022. I opened them this morning to replace the original inkjets and they were the wrong ones. Best Buy will not exchange them for the correct ones. The women were nice but adamant, no exchange. It would cost another $100.00 for me to purchase the correct ones. I let Best Buy keep the incorrect ones (a gift from me) that we're shipped to me. I have no use for them. I called the Geek Squad number only to find out that the appt had been cancelled with no note why, no phone call to me. So in two weeks I have the next available appt. I called the Cranberry PA store to get confirmation from the Geek Squad desk that they would come out for the appt. After listening to a recording about the store hours 10:00a-7:00p the phone rang and rang and I got a message that the store was closed. This was a 10:59a call. False advertisement do not buy computers here! I was bought computers here in the past and been having problems with them. Bough an MSI it had over heating issues which was a gaming laptop. So I bought a new Asus which I had sent to be delivered to my house. Not only did it not show up, but me and my family had to go up to the ups to pick it up. It was not there they claimed, so we headed to the complex were they get their packages which was miles away. Surprise not there either, it was back at the ups we were at. So drove back got the package only to find out it had a hole in the corner of the box, and no packing peanuts or bubble wrap. I was pissed took it back to the store they did give me a gift card, but when I got the new laptop it was fine for a bit. Later on in less than three months had wifi connection issues where it wouldn't connect. Had to reset the computer back to factory settings to fix the problem. Still having issues with it. Took to Best Buy to use a warranty to fix the issue. Guy claimed they were sending it to the manufacturer. Except due to a bullshit policy, it was sent to Geek Squad central. They ended up dropping it after fixing it up causing the computer to break open. Instead of replacing it with a brand new one. They decided to give me the one they broke apart. I will no longer buy computers from that store if this is what they do with customers. What a fucking joke! read more

Please whatever you do ... do not purchase a large appliance and have Best Buy (cranberry) deliver to your home. We purchased a fridge and they made it seem so simple, letting us know they could deliver it in two weeks. The day before we got a text giving us a 4 hour window. The day of, it was about 30 minutes after the window so we decided to give Best Buy a call and see what was going on. You could not speak to anyone at the cranberry store no matter what. So the people on the phone threw us around to about 5 different people trying to find our fridge. I was chatting with Best Buy through a chat message line and the guy told me there was a problem but rest assured the fridge would arrive by 7pm. Long story short there ... the fridge didn't arrive that day. The next day we get ahold of someone who says it never left the warehouse and they gave us a new delivery date of 2 weeks out. (Again no one called to tell us that we had to call). Then they say they will compensate us for their mistake. Well fridge finally arrives . The drivers are not permitted to take the doors off the fridge to fit it in the house , so we had to. Then we try calling to get compensation and we can't get ahold of anyone responsible for it even though they told us they would give it to us. No matter what you can not talk to a manager. You can yell you can be calm no matter what they will not let you talk to a manager. Pretty pathetic. DO NOT ORDER A LARGE APPLIANCE , if you do just take it home yourself. read more

1 star is way too high of rating for this store. I've had 2 bad experiences here. After the 1st time buying a washer we were done. We bought a washer and it was brought with a major dent, we obviously refused and were told to call the store. Forget about calling the store as no one answers the phone. Eventually after many attempts and much aggravation calling the store, headquarters, chat line, etc it was resolved. Then a year passed and they had a good deal on a high end TV as were were led to believe by sales. Now we are going through the same thing. We have a week old $3K TV and there is no one in sight to help. My wife went to the store and was told to make a minor adjustment. Guess what they were wrong, big surprise. So here we go again, I went through all the automated BS and have been on hold at least a half hour. Before the TV was delivered I was stupid enough to waste an hour being on hold and even tried on line chat on their web site, what a waste. Bottom line I will be lugging in my defective 65" TV into the store and causing a scene until I get a refund and then this store and Best Buy will get any more of my business. I took a $1,400 camera back today because I used it once and really had no use for it at all, it was a gift. Well, they took it back and charged me a $230.00 restocking fee! Are you kidding me BEST BUY! It looks like I'm your last customer judging by the walk-in traffic, and you decide to jack me for a restocking fee when I know it goes back in the 'open box' bin for a $50 discount. RIP-OFFS! Okay... the STORE experience was fine ... the delivery of my washer/dryer was excellent ... but trying since (9/17/2020) to get refunded for the UNused haul away fee from my old washer/dryer that I gave away prior to delivery of new set has been a nightmare. 4 phone calls , 2 "open tickets" to be told the first review was denied ... but they're reviewing again, "because I called again". I'm thinking it's straight forward... I paid for a service X2 that I didn't use, so credit my account . What am I missing ? I'm not sure if it'll show my previous review, as I had initially given Best Buy (Cranberry Twp) only 1-star due to a very rude employee. However, in my two meetings with said employee since my last review, he's been not only pleasant, but occasionally above and beyond. I'm not sure if I was too quick to judge before or if I had caught him on a bad day, but regardless I would like to update my review to reflect my overall experience. Yesterday I had my stereo system installed by Tony. As I mentioned above, he was a lot easier to deal with than when I originally met with him a week or two ago. This time he explained what he was doing and why, and was without the irritated undertone that dominated our initial consultation. Upon picking up my completed vehicle, he even explained how he had to upgrade the equipment I purchased to ensure quality performance, which he did free of charge despite the price difference. The sound system was conveniently tucked away and looked great. It sounded even better. Overall, despite some early bumps in the road, I'm walking away 100% happy and satisfied. I would definitely recommend Best Buy for any car stereo needs. read more

I just visited to see about buying a head unit for my truck last evening. The store was pretty empty. I could not find anyone for 5 minutes to come assist me in learning about car stereos and my want/needs. Finally I got this kid Allen to come over. He didn't know too much, being that this wasn't his department. That there really isn't a person for this department. He stayed with me a while and did the best he could. He was a very polite nice kid, if given the proper education on things would excel. The employees in all departments are always very polite and personable people for the most part. We just bought a high end dishwasher at Best Buy in Cranberry Township PA. The installers broke one of our kitchen cabinet drawers during installation. They actually broke the wood, not off the hinges. It's been a run around for the last week. They expect us to find someone to repair it! That's their job! We didn't break it! Haven't heard from their insurance adjuster yet! Never, ever use Best Buy. Their customer service stinks! They could care less about their customers after the sale. I plan on telling EVERYONE I know how horribly they have treated us!! read more

Went in October to purchase a Kindle Fire for Christmas. They only offer a 14 day exchange. I explained that this is a Christmas gift. The 14 day exchange should start on December 25th. They said no, l said yes to Amazon. I'll order it in November, get it directly mailed to my in-laws, and get a 30 day exchange policy. read more

Not a good experience here. I went to this store to purchase a new pc for work. When I went to check out the disinterested sales associate told me the machine would not take my business check. Since I am the owner of my small business I knew there was more than enough in the account for the purchase. He offered no resolution. I asked to speak to a manager and he told me Best Buy likes businesses to work with a different department but did not let me know how to contact them nor did he offer to have them contact me. I left the store without a new pc feeling irritated and embarrassed because they made me feel like my check was bad. I drove down the street to compugig which is a family owned computer store. Don't believe the low installation prices advertised. I purchased a car stereo and back up camera from this Best Buy. Lured in by the signs at the register advertising a $99 install, we opted for the professional installation. On the day of the install, they hit us with additional costs. Our $99 install cost close to $300. Additionally, they would not update the firmware on a stereo I purchased from them without charging me $25. I would not use them again. read more

I have gone into this location several times and the consistency of customer service is spotty overall.
