Put your baseball cards in one place , nobody wants to play hide and go seek to find the cards section. And fix your doors everytime i come in there the slide doors are either too slow opening or just wide open and dont close which only makes your store a pollen cesst pool. i mean come on guys . Geek Squad I didn't think it could be done but it was. My laptop was badly corrupted and the Geek at Best Buy was my last resort. After keeping the laptop from Tues. check in to today, 4/22/25 it was a job well done. The only suggestion I have is that the communication can use some improvement when a customer wants updates. Also, the worst thing for Best Buy is you can never get anyone at the Wilson store to pick up. Whenever I placed a call, it went to someone else and not Wilson. Thank you, Geek, a job well done. This was the worst experience of my life. The General Manager was belligerent to several customers. When I asked if I could get some help with pricing I was told " he would get to me when he got to me". It was noticed by several of the sales associates to the point they were apologizing to customers for the "GM"'s attitude and behavior. What blew me away was a young lady just spent in excess of $ 400.00 on several small items. When she asked if she could have a small plastic bag to carry her items out of the store. She was told bags were .10 cents a piece. I will never shop at another Best Buy store !! read more

Great service. I rolled into town without a memory card in my camera (doh). Stopped here and they were very helpful. Had one staff member meet me halfway, ask if I needed help, then led me to the memory cards, and even stayed to offer suggestions. I made an on app purchase and went to the counter for pickup. One of the staff members there, despite clearly not working the online order register, stopped what he was doing and assisted me. The Best Buy in Wilson is one of the few large electronic stores in the area. They do not let that stop them from providing good service and having a good selection of products. They are reasonably priced and have knowledge sales associates. I go in this store at least once a month to check out some sort of technology. I recommend this Best Buy for your technology needs and service. read more

We use to do a lot of business with this location but every time we have been in the store it takes FOREVER to get someone to help us!! And let me say the store is NOT busy when we are there so there is NO reason we can't be helped. There are plenty of employees taking and playing around!! This trip today I was in the store for 18 mins and no one came to help after I walked each aisle to find what I needed. So I told the lady in the phone FL section and she said sorry and went back to work so I left and went to Target to get what I needed. Drove almost an hour to take my video surveillance system to Geek Squad to get them to check out the new hard drive I just ordered from Best Buy. They required me to set up an appointment to even drop the unit off, the earliest appointment was in 4 hours. I told the guy I lived almost an hour away and all he said was sorry. Not the first issue I've had with Geek Squad but will be the last!! I'd give them less than one star if it were possible. This rating is based on the interaction with the retail sales manager and the customer service supervisor. These two individuals gave me the worst service and mouth I have ever experienced when trying to return an item that was damaged (and later to be discovered as misboxed) on the same day I picked it up curbside. They did everything they could to deflect blame to anyone but the store when it was an error of the store's part to deliver me an item that was two years old, filthy, and damaged. That they could not make it right in the store over an item costing a measly $100, and instead my having to experience over 2 1/2 hours of runaround with these sorry individuals and Best Buy Customer Support--who insisted the store would be correct to remedy the situation onsite, is unforgivable. Would I have had ANY incentive to stay in the store, call for additional support right in the customer service area so they could see I was serious about leaving with a refund, if the condition of this item were MY fault? I don't think so. Sales manager told me that never in "11 years" (actually 10 years 9 months according to your LinkedIn after corporate gave me your name!) have they seen a refund issued onsite for a case like mine. So I guess sales manager can't quite say this any longer after I was successful with a faceless voice from customer service who never saw me nor the item. I was determined not to leave the premises without my money and I was successful at doing what the sales manager and the customer service manager refused to do. These managers were beat at their own game, and I made sure at least one of them knew it. The look on the sales manager's face when I returned with the broken item and the refund in hand was priceless. These managers should have been able to process a return/refund on the spot, but chose not to when I know they could have. Other store employees present when I had my final conversation with the sales manager agree with this and apologized deeply for the actions of the managers. I hope sales manager saw and heard them--he should have, as he was flanked by two employees who understood my position better than the one presented by their own manager. The appropriate action on the part of the sales manager and customer service supervisor when I presented them with conflicting information, (and the retail sales manager claimed corporate gave me "misleading" information about the item return policy, to add insult to injury), would have been to contact corporate customer service, but they failed to. I guess they found arguing with a very angry customer a better use of their time. Such is only a poor reflection on them as supposed leaders at this location. Anyone is fine to run in and out of the store for a quick purchase but trying to deal with returns or customer service if encountering the sales manager or customer service supervisor, good luck because their customer service and people skills and professional acumen are nonexistent. read more

Is Best Buy going out of business? If I had to guess based on this location, I would say yes. The shelves were pitifully stocked and there were plastic bins around every corner of every isle. We went so that my mom could look at a simple point and shoot digital camera, but there were 3 models to choose from. 3!!! I was not impressed. Also, the sales associate was trying to hurry us along so quickly to make a decision. Pardon me for not wanting to buy a $500 piece of equipment in haste. calling the wilson location is a nightmare, they send you to a call center as if a hundred people are in the store, for certain things like repairs you're calling about. it's crazy ridiculous! i was charged $1,000 for a laptop, that online from the manufacture themself cost $299.00 what a rip-off. criminal. you cannot get anyone because you will be waiting 20 minutes on the phone, while i had my husband run over there, absolutely nobody was in the store. do not get screwed as i did in buying a laptop here, do not do what i did. their return policy is a joke. 7 days, for a big ticket purchase??? do your due diligence first. cost me $700 bucks, and a criminal sales pitch. read more

I took my computer in to Wilson, NC, Best Buy and it just needed to get my computer fix, since the screen was always black. Well, what they did was disable and take out my Hard D drive, so my USB port does not work. It worked before they got my computer, but now I am missing the physical hardware. The Online Geek Squad person, found that out. Then disconnected my session before scheduling me an appointment. So they probably took it off my computer to fix someone else's computer and now my computer is not working. I've never had this type of problem w/ the Geek Squad. But now I have to take it back in and get it repaired again. I will take it to another Best Buy Store, since my USB was not the problem when I took it in, but now it is. So, instead of ordering a part for another Dell Computer, they just took my D: hard drive out and gave it to someone else. Anyone else have this problem w/ the Wilson Geek Squad? read more

Would give negative stars if I could. I have been a Best Buy customer forever , my family construction company has even built several Best Buy's. The geek squad lady "Jen" with short hair was absolutely disgusting the way she spoke to me. I had a return and she dismissed me saying I will not be able to return or exchange even though I bought the accident damage protection plan. She did not want to aknowledge the fact that I have that protection plan. She dismissed me away and would not further assist me with my charger that is also broken. I asked another representative to allocate if another store even has surface 7 pro in stock. As I am on the phone with corporate I come to find out the store nearby has 3 in stock ... lied to again. This is appalling as I work in the customer service industry & this is not the way people should be treated especially paying customers. Shawn was the only employee that helped adequately. This store cares nothing about their customers after you walk out of the store. I bought a 4 year warranty on an item. It crapped out after 2 months. The smugness in charge told me that my only option was to send it out ( after 2 months), and wait for them to decide whether or not they would repair it, or give me a new one. They would rather lose a good customer than swap out, with a receipt, a $100 car stereo. They know that I paid for it, and Kenwood will give THEM a new one. In the meantime, I am supposed to ride around with my dash hanging out. Goodbye best buy! read more
