Fast forward about a month, I ultimately decided I dont need it and tried to contact Vivint about 12 times, got routed 4 times to different departments, and nobody was able to help cancel my service. Not only could I not get my service canceled, they also blatantly lied that I do not have an extended trial. Fortunately, I had them email me in writing initially so I can possibly take legal action. Regardless, my trial period is long gone, and Vivint has forced me into this contract. If you want home security, I'm sure Vivint is the same as everybody else. If you want out, they sure as hell won't let you.

We were reluctant to sign the contract since it was for a one year contract. Like fools we believed the Comcast people on the phone when they told us we would be released from the contract if Comcast did not offer service at the new location we would be moving to. Turns out no Comcast service is offered at our new location. You guessed it. They will not release us from the additional 10 months on the contract. They lied to us and their management explained that Comcast cannot be held responsible for what their employees tell customers. The only thing that matters is what they tricked us into signing. I cannot tell you how poor this customer service is and what an awful experience it has been to do business with this company. We have never encountered anything like it. If I could have rated them with zero stars, I would have. "Caveat Emptor-Let the buyer beware". Now the public is aware!
