We purchased a 3 zoned unit that included 2 ductless wall units as well as a slim ducted unit about 5 months ago and, so far, couldn't be happier with the whole experience. Kirby came out to give us a quote. He took a look at are house, asked us what our goals and needs were, and made a few recommendations based on that. He gave us a few different options with different price points and described the pros and cons to each. I really couldn't believe how knowledgeable he was. We had gotten a quote from a different company and they were very basic in their description of what we were getting and how it would work. Kirby on the other hand did not hesitate to "bore you with the details" so to speak if that's what you wanted. It was very nice to really understand the units we were getting and it made me feel a lot more comfortable with the purchase. When you are spending that kind of money on something it is nice to know what you are paying for. I also never felt any sort of uncomfortable pressure to go with one option over another or purchase from Best. The whole experience (thankfully) lacked the "sales pitch" feel. The installation of our units took 2 days and there were 2-3 people working each day. They were very respectful of my house and what they were doing in there. They would always stop to ask for my thoughts before drilling into walls or placing units on the walls. They were very intentional about trying to hide vents in corners that you wouldn't see. It definitely felt like they were treating this installation as if they were doing it in their own home. They spent a good amount of time after installation to explain the units and how they worked. They even did a courtesy follow up check on us about 2 weeks later to make sure we were doing ok with it all. The Carrier units themselves seem great! We have not used another brand so cant compare to anything else but have been very happy with the Carrier so far. read more

Kirby was very professional and came out right on time to do an estimate on replacing my 46 year old electric furnace with a new Carrier Hi Efficiency gas furnace and I also wanted to add Air Conditioning as well. Kirby looked everything over and answered all of the questions I had, and I had a lot of them too. I also had a problem with my return air duct. For one it was filthy dirty, and it was broke apart in two places and was only taped together and was pulling in attic dirt, heat and cold into the old furnace. Kirby gave me time to do what I wanted to do before a new furnace was set in place. I had Best Heating & Cooling reinstall my return air duct and they screwed it together and foil taped the seams like I wanted it done. Don't hesitate to call Best Heating & Cooling because I had 3 other bids done and after talking with Kirby not only did I trusted what he said, Kirby spent the most time with me addressing all my concerns more than any other estimator that showed up. Bottom line is, I got the Carrier products I wanted at a fair price from Best Heating & Cooling. Thank You Kirby! On the day of my new HVAC installation I was contacted by Chuck at Best Heating & Cooling and he informed me that he and his crew were on their way out. They arrived right on time and I met the installers which consisted of Chuck, Jose, & Malcom. These guys all worked great together. Each one knew what to do and what was needed to get done and stayed on task with the job. Chuck was an amazing lead man and answered all of the questions and concerns I may have had. I watched over the job progress and how everyone was doing and it's amazing how much work three men can get done in a short amount of time, reason being because they are professionals and everyone knows their role. Jose did a great job working with Chuck on the furnace install and Jose did the AC unit and the roof venting as well as reconfigured the return air duct working together with Malcom in the attic to seal and secure my new return air duct just like I wanted it done. No one complained or had an attitude. They just did their jobs and seemed happy to be there working. When the crew cleaned up everything and left even my wife complemented on how well everyone worked together and no bad language or disrespecting anything. Best did a fantastic job upgrading our system. Our newly purchased home only had cadet heating (energy vampires) and we really wanted to run ductwork. They not only retrofitted our home beautifully, but they made it look like it had always been there. That, and they were fantastic with communication, going above and beyond what we expected. Every morning they sent a text letting us know our technician was on the way, and before the project was started, they sent a detailed message of who our installer was with his credentials. I had a maintenance plan with Best Heating and 2 weeks after a scheduled maintenance there was an issue with my furnace blower. They sent a technician out and I was told the blower was burned out and I would need a replacement. After the technician left I called another company for a 2nd estimate for replacement and the 2nd company found wires that were shorted out and when he connected them the blower worked. I contacted Best and told them I didn't appreciate that their technician failed to find or tell me about the wires in an effort to get me to buy a new blower. I had to spend $265 to the 2nd company for repairing what Best should have done under the maintenance agreement for no more then a the cost of 3 wire nuts to splice the wires back together(maybe $5). After 2 very long discussions Kirby Loewen agreed to send me $100 check as a compensation for the failure of Best heating doing what I had paid them for. One month later I receive a credit for $100. I can not trust this company to come into my home again after this experience, If they somehow caused this event I will never know but I can't trust that if there is ever another problem I would always wonder if there was a dishonest motivation. read more
