Where do I start? The pub is on the main through road of Gosfield so can't be missed easily. Plenty…read moreof parking space, if one of you is driving. Unlike many pubs today, which thrive to survive using the the restaurant side, this pub has two bars as well as the restaurant. So, if you want just a pint then there is plenty of seating room. Wood beamed ceiling and inglenook fireplace, nice for those colder nights in winter. We were there to celebrate a 30th birthday and on arriving, early, we were welcomed by the bar staff with warm cheery smiles (a pleasant surprise these days). A table for the eight of us was already laid and we decorated it a little. Then down to a few drinks while awaiting the other guests. Nice selection of real ales and, I noticed, a fantastic selection of worldwide whiskies (although my favourite, Laphroaig, was absent). Once seated we perused the fantastic menu. I guarantee that there would be something on it that anyone would choose, even veggies. My problem was that there was so much choice and I wanted to try everything. I started with Cromer crab and avocado with lime dressing. Aberdeen Angus rump steak with a homemade peppercorn dressing (none of the usual bottled sauce), Portabello mushroom and really CHUNKY chips Wow delicious, both courses. Finally, cheese and biscuits. Three unusual local cheeses, with loads of crackers, celery, apple wedges, butter and a pot of home made chutney. A meal in itself. Going on the sounds from our friends and the empty plates around the table I can only assume that the other meals were as delicious as mine. Nice touch for a pub. Cream teas in the afternoon, unusual. Anyway, thanks to all you guys and gals behind the bar and in the kitchen for a wonderful evening. You all have done the English pub/restaurant trade PROUD. We will see you again.

This venue has only got better and I put that down to the new décor and the brilliant staff. As soon as we walked in the door the friendliness shone through from Fiona. Immediately asking if we had logged the car in on their flat screen (avoids an expensive fine later coming through the post), checking on allergies etc etc. 8.00 pm is a great time to eat as the kids have gone because this is a hub for Birthday Parties. Shown to a quiet booth near the warmth of the kitchen, our drinks orders were taken and there was no rush for the food orders. Drinks arrived swiftly, thanks to Stevie. Those two girls worked hard serving the whole restaurant. Thank goodness it wasn't too busy at that time. Buffalo wings, with different coatings, arrived and went down too well. There weren't any wipes available for this messy dish. Difficult to eat without the hands being covered. However, Stevie arranged a finger bowl with lemon and vast amounts of serviettes. The main course of Prawn Diavolo, one with extra green chillis (I am an addict) arrived and was delicious. Finishing with an Irish coffee. A wonderful evening thanks to both girls mentioned but I must mention the two girls in the kitchen. They, too, worked hard. Wonderful, friendly (but professional), restaurant. I will admit, there is an extra plus......they accept Meerkats 2for1. Cant go wrong.

Not the best frankly tbh. Service was poor and so was the food…read more Waiting for 30 minutes for drinks and to order, then waited another 40 for a fishn chips

Prezzo Restaurant - Clearly chicken not veggie.

Veggie burger is obviously chicken so she can't eat it. I called the restaurant, the manager tells me she spoke to the chef and the chef said he hasn't made any chicken burgers other than a kids chicken. So in addition to not getting the right food she's also saying I'm a liar. I know the difference between a veggie burger and a chicken burger. As other people have mentioned, the only way to get the right food would be to place another order. Mum said don't bother. Great job Prezzo. Dinner ruined.

Nothing better after having taken in a good film at Cineworld. I had booked online, just in case, but the restaurant at 5.00 pm was quite empty but gradually filled up during our visit. OK, one slight niggle but not a gripe, an order for drinks should be taken shortly after arrival. I do like a drink while perusing the menu. However, forgetting that, service was from there on, very quick. The chilli prawns with garlic bread, as a starter, were nicely picante and the garlic bread plentiful and delicious. The mains for my partner was a seafood pasta dish which, she said, was full of flavour and had a slight 'bite' to it. My lasagne was a traditional type. Lasagne varies from region to region and restaurant to restaurant. This one was beautifully moist and full of that wonderful tomato taste. Finalised with rich coffee as we were so full and a dessert would have ruined the fantastic full stomach sensation. As I said service was great by Katie, a charming young lady and Milly, assistant Manager. Both worked so hard and made our visit special. Avoid a server by the name of Cassandra, a terrible waitress. Joking as there is no Cassandra. I asked for our servers names and was told by Milly that should this be a bad review then her name was Cassandra. I love service with a sense of humour. Thanks guys and gals for a nice meal and friendliness. Remember #staysafe
