The owners are great and the mani/pedis are extremely relaxing. They do their darndest to fit in walk-ins when possible. I had my fingernails BUFFED last time, rather than polished for something different. A healthier alternative and they still look great! Just went in for a manicure and I think I was sent to the daughter who did t know what she was doing. First my hands were lathered with lotion and then put in heated mittens to moisten the nail beds but the girl couldn't figure out how to turn them on. She poorly clipped my fingernails and barely touched my cuticles then she attempted to buff. When she decided she was done, I showed my hands to the owner with my haphazardly clipped skin and nails and he seemed like he thought it was a great job. I didn't want to argue or make them feel like I was trying to get free manicure so I just paid and left. I will never go back there..... Oh and incidentally I happen to be walking past the place on a different day and the wife(I believe) was outside sweeping... She looked at me and swept her dirt right onto me as I walked by.... Don't do it! Disappointing because I just moved within walking distance and would have given them my business, but not after the terrible service I just received. Getting a pedicure is a special treat. I expect to spend money and I always tip well no matter what. This is the first time I've ever felt like not leaving a tip or writing a negative Yelp review (Of course I tipped but reluctantly. And this is the first negative review I've ever written.) I feel like a piece of meat that has just been processed. Maybe I just caught her on a bad day but I definitely won't be going back again to find out. I wanted a deluxe pedicure but was only given the most basic service. The woman attending me never made eye contact and no small talk. She was not gentle at all. The leg "massage" felt like a horse race followed by a regimented series of timed slaps and punches on my legs. Precisely 3 opened handed slaps and 3 closed fist punches along my calves. She didn't even wait 30 seconds from the time she was done painting my nails to the time she was shoving my flip flops back onto my feet, ruining 2 nails in the process. When she went to fix them she only re-did the small spots on the nails instead of re-painting the entire nail. I don't know if that's standard practice but it felt like a shortcut. Even though there was only 1 other person there besides me and about 8(?) pedicure chairs, she did not let me enjoy the massage chair while my toes dried. She actually turned it off mid massage leaving the massage part sticking into my back. Then she demanded I get out of the chair and "go over there" pointing to the back of the shop. I couldn't move because she did not release the armrest latch that trapped me in the chair (it swivels outward away from my body so I can get out, like a car door.) After I asked her how to get out of the chair she released the latch but did not swing it out for me. I tried to figure out what she meant when she told me to go to the back of the shop because there are 2 additional rooms that trail to another door leading into the alley behind the store. When I started to cross the threshold into the room with a couch the man told me not to go in there. Then the woman pointed to the nail drying station in a corner I didn't see before. I felt pretty stupid. I would say find another small business to support, but don't waste your time or money with this one. I really don't think I did or said anything to upset her or justify the lack of customer service. I know things are tough right now. We all need to be kind to one another. read more

I've been fighting this infection since September. This is a few weeks after frequenting the salon for about a few months in July and August. I've never had any skin problems prior to this time so me and my doctor concluded that it was probably from the finger and toe nail treatments. It does not matter how nice they are or how efficient they are at getting you out the door, rather how they disinfect the implements that they use. Absolutely the WORST service I've ever received at a nail Salon!!! If I could give the Salon a negative rating I would. I've been getting my nails done for 20+ years and am in the business. I made an appointment for a repair of three nails, the woman there was friendly and spoke a little English, the man whom did my nails was the rudest roughest nail tech imaginable!!! He cut me, jerked my hand, shoved my hands under the heater, the only words he spoke to me were " you pay first, then wash your hands." Do yourself a favor pass on this Salon. read more

This place refused to let my 5-year-old son use the restroom when our car broke down a few blocks away. When I walked in and tried to explain my situation, the woman just started filing her nails and looking down at the floor, trying to act as though we weren't there. Then there was a guy in a suit outside talking on the phone ignoring our existence entirely. These are awful people who couldn't even spare a bit of time to allow a little boy who was hopping around crying, to use their facilities. They might as well have treated us like we were transients, but in no way did we look like one. We didn't go for services, but after this treatment, I'll never recommend this place to anyone. read more

Stopped in to get my nails done for a wedding. Only one person in salon the man was friendly but the woman was completely rude, would not acknowledge my presence in front of her. Tried up selling me pedicure 2x then wax my brows which I had just done both. Then as she is doing my French manicure the color is bleeding into the bare color when questioned "it be fine" then she gets the paraffin ready asks about my brows one last time when I said no thank you she says " you done" used the same files on me as last people. I experienced a very disappointing visit to this shop. I asked for a manicure with gel/shellac, and it was nothing short of a disaster. The shellac did not set properly and began to bubble and ripple before I even left my chair. The manicurist said that I could come back, but I opted to go to a higher-end competitor the next day. It took them nearly two hours to remove the goop and destroyed several bits in the process, not to mention my nails! Beware! read more
