Was able to walk in at 10am on Sunday and Tina did a GREAT job on my very ratchet nails. The salon was busy but not packed, everyone was super friendly and I didn't feel judged! Will be back and DEF recommend!!

I've been going to Best nails for a few years now and I keep coming back. The staff here is kind, and welcoming. I would highly recommend Sandy if you like dip powder, and Sheila for design. I've been going to them for a while and they are amazing. I've also gotten great service from the other ladies when getting gel manicures and pedicures. Love them!

Came in at 12 pm for when was my appointment was set. They were already ready for me, and sat me right away! I showed an inspo picture of what I wanted for my nails and they matched it perfectly! They did both my feet and hands at the same time which I appreciated! The salon is very cute, and quiet which I did enjoy. They were all very attentive. Price also was more than reasonable with tip added on top of it! Will be back. Thanks, Best Nails! I also went with this place because I sent a Yelp request, and they answered within the hour.

Update 24 hours later- Sheila was very nice and called me to refund my mom. She took care of things for us. Tonight was my third time here and my last. I promised my mom this was a good place and that the ladies here were nice. To be honest, i didn't want to come here again cause the last time i got a bright blue gel nail, i could see through them because she didn't do enough coats, they faded within a week. Tonight though, my wonderful mom paid for me and my little brothers nails (me a pedicure and taking gel off and my brother just a callus remover and nail trim) and then my moms nails. She tipped $10 each for all of us and they looked at her and asked for an additional $20. I'm absolutely disgusted at this behavior!! She of course did because she's too nice, but in a state where tipping is OPTIONAL and where almost no one does it anymore, i think this is so so uncool. I will be making sure that no one i know goes to this greedy place ever again. ZERO STARS.

They always do a great job. I've never had a bad experience at best nails, and I have been coming religiously every two weeks for the last two years.

This is my favorite place to get my nails done. They can always set me as a walk-in or they can take appointment. Sheila always does a great job on my nails! Also, if anything ever needs fixing like a chip or something small, I can always come in no questions asked and they fix it. Really great customer service all around.

Best Nails does the most amazing TAP hybrid gel sets. They last for weeks and allow your real nails to grow long. The salon is very clean and everyone is so nice. I've been a loyal customer for years and can't imagine going anywhere else for my nails.

Today was my first time trying Best Nails and I was impressed. It was pretty busy when I walked in, but someone was able to take me within 5 minutes for my gel mani. I had a chipped nail coming in (my natural nail) and my technician actually patched it up for me without me even asking which I thought was really nice. I got the OPI gel in "Bubble Bath" and am in love with how it came out. I typically get dark colors and this is the perfect neutral. I also got a 10 minute neck / shoulder massage and it was sooooo good! I've been to other highly rated nail salons in the area but this spot is so far the nicest, cleanest, and has the best selection of gel nail colors by far. I will definitely be coming here regularly! read more

Wow!! What a manicure! This place was packed, and now I know why. Tina spent about an hour on my manicure, and it was fantastic. Included was a shoulder and neck massage, and she spent a full 10 minutes working out all my knots with oil and strong, skilled hands... then followed it up with another 5 minutes on my hands and arms. She used a variety of great-smelling waxes, oils, and scrubs, which made the whole experience feel extra luxurious. I also really appreciated that all of the tools came out of a sealed sanitary bag. After a bad experience at a different salon, I decided to try a new nail place in San Clemente and gave Best Nails a try - I mean with a name like that it's gotta live up to standards right? And you bet IT DID!!! This is my go-to spot now for all things nails! My nail tech was so precise and all the tools they use come straight out of a sterilized package so you know they are following health protocols which is so important to me. I'm beyond happy with the service I received especially on my cuticles and the variety of colors they offer. The salon is bright and clean and everyone is so friendly. I have mixed feelings about this place. It really depends on who is doing your nails. I've had 3 really bad experiences and 2 good ones. Had a manicure recently and the girl was in such a hurry that she left my nails uneven and really rough. I thought maybe she had an appointment coming in but when I looked over she was sitting in one of the chairs on her phone. Not professional at all. read more

Update 24 hours later- Sheila was very nice and called me to refund my mom. She took care of things for us. Tonight was my third time here and my last. I promised my mom this was a good place and that the ladies here were nice. To be honest, i didn't want to come here again cause the last time i got a bright blue gel nail, i could see through them because she didn't do enough coats, they faded within a week. I decided to go back and give this nail salon another try and I'm so glad that I did. First of all, it has clearly evolved since 15 years ago. It looks very modern. Second, from walking in to paying at the end, everything went smoothly and efficiently. And lastly, it was very clean: liners in the pedicure tubs and spraying down the massage chairs after use. New nail tools unwrapped from an autoclave envelope. I did a basic pedicure because I spent hours on backcountry trails the day before and my toes needed some love. My technician did exactly what I wanted. I have zero complaints. The salon was packed but able to accommodate a walk in on a Sunday afternoon. Definitely coming back. read more

Horrible little place. My hubby & I came in for pedi's, the lady immediately tried to grab my bag twice. I actually had to pull it out of her hands! She then gave me a fairly deep nick with the Dremel machine she clearly had no idea how to use to take off the gel polish. After the nick she caused she sprayed my nails with alcohol. Yeah, it stung. Something was said to her and they switched her to my husband. The one who took over was not any better. I've had extensive back surgeries & cannot move my legs quickly. Coninually grabbing them to put them on the ledge does not help. She kept doing this after I asked her not to. Unfortunately I did not notice terrible polish application until today. It's streaky, uneven, and basically terrible. My 6 year old granddaughter can do a better job. I then paid for the "service" and the man at the counter followed me out saying my card didn't go through, this is after I watched it go through. He said he would charge me again and if I saw I was double charged to call him & he would refund me. Really! Was he serious? I got on my banks website & showed him the charge went through. This is by far the worst nail salon I've ever had the displeasure of going to. If I could give it zero or better yet negative stars I would. read more

Tried several nail salons within 15 miles of me and I keep coming back to this one. Pros: Pricing is reasonable considering the location. Service is pretty good, I don't remember an instance when I wasn't fully satisfied with how my nail polish turned out. Staff are very friendly. Cons: They tend to get busy so walk-in is difficult, it's best to make an appointment beforehand. read more

I have been coming here for years and they never disappoint!! I always go to Sandy for a builder gel set and she does an amazing job. I had a few inspo pics for this set for my birthday and she and Sheila worked together to make it happen. Sheila can do any design you want! I visited this nail salon for the first time today and got a cat eye color done. Once I got in the car and looked at my nails closely, I noticed that the polish didn't go down to the cuticle. I went back into the store and asked if they could fix it. They said they could but would need to remove the color first. I asked if I could change the color since they were removing it anyway, but they said they would have to charge extra for a color change. I sat down and the nail technician started removing the polish. I then asked him how much it would cost to apply a different color. He didn't respond, but a woman came over and asked if I wanted to change the color. I said yes. She didn't mention the price, so I assumed they might change it complimentary since they had made a mistake. I was wrong. I should have asked for the price again. Had they told me the price when I asked, I would not have changed colors. Only until she was done changing the color did she say they were going to charge me an additional $19 on top of the original $82, and the new color is even uglier than the first. It doesn't match the display and came out darker. Posting pics for reference. I won't be coming back here. Just a bad experience all around. read more

My goal was to avoid becoming significantly blonder. Unfortunately, the final result was the opposite of what I had requested, and my hair ended up much blonder than I wanted. What was particularly concerning was that when I expressed my desire for a brunette look with minimal highlights, Kim responded that it would be "disgusting." I found that comment unprofessional and unnecessarily harsh. Clients should feel heard and respected, even when a stylist has a different professional opinion. To her credit, she did attempt to correct the color by adding lowlights. However, the lowlights did not appear to take, and I was told there was something wrong with my hair rather than being given a clear explanation or solution. I understand that color services can be complex and that results may vary, but I left feeling that my preferences were not fully respected and that the outcome did not reflect the look I had specifically requested. Unfortunately, because of this experience, I would not return and cannot recommend the salon based on my visit. I showed her a photo (which I will provide) of my inspiration. She said that she could not do multiple colors like my photo showed, but she could do the French tip the way that it was in the photo. So I compromised and said OK. When I first sat down, I did not notice if May pulled anything out of the sanitary bags that are typically used in nail salons for all of the tools. She began filing my nails with a dirty used nail file. I asked her several times if she could use one that was sanitized. She was acting like she couldn't understand me or that she didn't hear me, but I've gone to her before and I know that she had absolutely no issues with communication prior. She kept ignoring my request until the manager walked over and told her to get a new nail file because he overheard me. Even after the manager asked her to use a new nail file, she finished filing the rest of my hand and THEN she grabbed a new nail file. What is with the attitude? And why are we not using sanitary tools for every single customer? After asking her to replace the dirty nail file, I endured major attitude from her going forward. Almost anytime I spoke to her after this, she would ignore me and stay silent. I asked her if she could bring the French tip all the way up around the sides (like demonstrated in the photo) and she said "this is the best that I can do." Totally dismissive and not what we discussed prior to the appt. You can't just draw a line a little bit higher...? She also told me that she would make sure that my natural whites were not showing beneath the French tip, but as you can see in the photo... she did not do that. It was very obvious that she was in a hurry. She was not interested in really taking the time to make sure that she was listening to what I was asking- which wasn't a lot. On top of this, I scheduled and confirmed an appointment for a manicure and pedicure. My pedicurist did not show up until my manicure was almost over. Why even bother to make an appt here? I scheduled both at once so that I could get them done at the same time. This is why people don't like to go to nail salons. It's important to respect people's time, especially when they are a customer. If my pedicurist was going to be an hour late, I should have been given the courtesy to know that. Will not be returning.

Ladies BEWARE!! STAY CLEAR OF THIS PLACE!!! No one speaks English, they left too much acetone on me for over 30 minutes and it burned and left my cuticles and skin horribly dry. I love this newly remodeled nail salon! Vivian and Mymy and all the women in there are amazing. They always do amazing designs for me. I always do full set gels and get their amazing luxury pedicures that come with hot oil treat I been coming here for years. Very clean place and the staff is very professional.
