This company has literally the worst customer service that I have ever dealt with. We are in the process of moving to a new home with city trash pick up so I called to cancel service when my billing cycle ends which will be on the 26th of this month. They scheduled it for that date and told me it would be picked up a few days after that pick up. I got home today on the 5th to find that my trash can had already been picked up. When I told the customer service representative that it had been picked up, she said "I seriously doubt that" even though it had indeed been picked up and she could see that my account was still marked active. No discount in service was offered because they are allegedly going to have a trash can returned before my next pick up date. They argue that you are not missing service as long as they pick up regardless of whether you have a trash can or not, so now we have to have trash stored inside of our home until they can get a trash can returned to me and that is not considered missing service. A few years ago, I called two weeks in advance to have a large furniture pick up, and on the scheduled date no one showed up, so I had an old couch sitting in my drive way for several days waiting on them to fix the issue. They are consistently unorganized and do not care about their customers satisfaction. This is the worst customer service I have ever had and they are willing to make their customers suffer the consequences of their mistakes with no offer to do anything to make it right. Don't bother calling ahead and trying to make plans because they are not going to get it right regardless. Only giving one stat because I can't give zero. read more

The trash man always leaves my trash can knocked over or way far away from where I originally put the cans. My favorite is when the cans are left right behind my running van so I have to move them before I get in the car with my kids in the morning. I really need to figure out if best way has a monopoly on my area or if I can hire a different company. read more

Boy I tell you. We've been with best way for years and never had a single problem. But the past couple years they have gone in the toilet. Constantly leaving trash cans in the driveway blocking from getting in from the street. Damaged cans they won't replace. Very trashy no pun intended. So we cancelled service yesterday and they pick up on Mondays and said they'll pick them up that day once they empty the trash. Well the morons came up onto our private property to our garage and picked them up. Less than 24 hours and picked them up. Oh but when you need them fixed or replaced it takes them forever. But something that wasn't supposed to be picked up until Monday they get them without our knowing and coming into our property? I get if they are required to pull up to replace them. Which they never do. By far the worst company now. Management must have changed that and or they hire some jerks. I encourage anyone that is considering signing up for them. Absolutely do not. Go with someone else. I'm going with someone else and getting the same amount of trash cans and pay quarterly for only four bucks more. And they are highly recommended. Best way was good once upon a time, but definitely not anymore. They hung up on me twice trying to explain to them about the trash cans blocking the driveway. Very piss poor customer service. Very disrespectful. Nothing good to say about them. Anyone who stays with them needs to be evaluated themselves. Long story short. They need to go out of business. I mean I gata call them every week "hey you got everyone else's trash except mine" with the same giggle and "oh well check the cameras" for 3 years straight... what tf am I paying for? They don't wana fix the issue they just throw it under the rug... I don't understand how company's even stay in business anymore... Best Way has done a great for me over the years. When I have called they have taken care of the problem. bill

We just held our daughter's wedding and had paid a small fortune for luxury, air conditioned restrooms from a "national vendor". When the unit arrived, it was NOT what we had ordered (fewer stalls) and the AC didn't work. We had no idea what to do. Our venue contacted Bestway and they were able to quickly clean a portable restroom trailer that hadn't been used because of Covid for almost two years. It was air conditioned, it had more stalls than the unit we had originally ordered, and even came fully stocked with toilet paper and towels. Oh, at at less than HALF the cost of the original unit that was ordered. To be fair, it was not a plush as the original unit we had ordered, but there were no lines at the restroom all evening, and the AC was much appreciated by guests. Because these restrooms book up early, I am not sure what we'd have done if Bestway hadn't come through. In our case, they were VERY customer focused and I would give them my highest recommendation based on my limited personal experience. read more

I lowered my plan to one garbage can and luckily I check my credit card statement bc they over charged me and now i have to wait two months for a credit, they don't send a bill of any sort, no email or even text when bill is due.. you just have to trust them to charge your credit card the right amount every 3 months.. wish there was another garbage company to use! I only gave one star because I had two in order to post this review. But they don't even deserve one. Best way disposals customer service is below any stars that are given. I have never dealt with such unprofessional customer service. I mean just because you're trash company doesn't mean you have to act like you're trash. Notice everyone they are not even Registered through the BBB!!! I don't know about most people but if you're not with the BBB that tells me a lot about your business! I have been a resident of Madison County for 87 years and never needed anything from Best Way except for the normal trash pick up. Then someone threw furniture on the sidewalk in front of my home and it's been sitting here for a month. I have called to have it removed and they did not take it. When I called customer service I cannot believe how rude and inconsiderate the customer service agent was. It was bad enough that I got my 87-year-old self on this site to leave a review for other people to know how The customer service treated me and represented their company. Sad. read more
