The hotel feels new. The lobby and rooms are very clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast was tasty with a good variety of foods. Our only issue is the EV vehicle charging station. We plugged in our vehicle at a $0.25/hour rate. The next morning, I saw a text from Chargepoint that came in at 2:11 am informing me that at 2am the property owner set the rate to $5.00/hour. That is a massive increase. We checked the signage at the charging station and there is no warning about a big rate increase. It's very unscrupulous to change up the pricing when people are asleep and not give a heads up that the price would jump. Other than this, our stay was good. read more

While traveling thru Las Vegas on our way to Death Valley NP we stayed here one night. Didn't want to deal with Las Vegas the town so Henderson is a calmer area with the ability to stop at a grocery store to get our few supplies we need for the trip. The best western was a very large, lots of rooms. We stayed in a king room that was very roomy I was pleased. The staff was very friendly on check in and out. We stayed here on a Saturday night. The hotel has been recently been updated. The rooms are spacious and the bed was comfy. The continental breakfast was decent, it held me over until lunch. All the employees I interacted with were friendly. The parking lot layout is weird, half of it is behind a gas station. It's on Boulder Highway in a quiet and boring area. It's surrounded by junk yards and auto body shops. If you just need a place to crash this is it! read more

This is a pretty basic no-frills midscale hotel with kinda small rooms, but comfy and it's definitely a step up from budget, the service is very good as well. Aside from the customer service, the thing I liked best is that it was unusually quiet. Now, this was a one night stay so maybe take it with a grain of salt, but it was also a weekend night and the parking lot was totally packed. No noise through the walls, no stomping above me. Very restful. Seems like maybe an older more solid '90s build based on the air system (the only part that was a little noisy at times) and the elevator. Has a basic hot breakfast at 6:30 every day (simple egg and sausage patties, waffle maker, some usual continental stuff) and coffee / water out all day. Other than that not much for amenities, I'm not even sure if there was a pool around anywhere? Mini fridges, microwaves and Keurig coffee standard in rooms though, plus coffee and cocoa in the lobby at all hours. The area is just so/so for convenience. Good for quiet as it's way down a fairly empty stretch of Boulder but not a lot to walk to. On one side you got the Skyline Casino for a small locals place that has a diner and some live music on weekends. Other side there's a 7/11 and an AM/PM for basic snacks and such, and a little local sandwich/pizza place that closes very early, but that's all the eating options right nearby. The Boulder Highway Express bus stops right outside but it's a good 10-15 minute ride north to anything you'd want to go to. If you're going in 2025 there's a ton of road construction for the near future that's kind of disruptive. If you just want a place to sleep and relax in peace for a night or two it's a good one though. A longer stay might be more inconvenient if you don't have a car. read more

Our AC unit broke and needed to be repaired over a 3-day period. We live in the 100+ degree desert in July, so it wasn't safe to stay in the home with our 2 huskies, so we needed a pet-friendly hotel with room. I found this gem of a hotel filled with excellent guest services, free breakfast, relaxing pool and pet fee was only $20 a day per dog. We honestly felt so welcome and at home staying at this location especially under all the stress we faced with our home and AC unit. The interactions I had with the front desk staff Alejandra and Jewlia made this stay and experience stress free and relaxed staying here. We have found out 2nd home whenever we need to stay local when we are having any work done on our home and I will be recommending this location to any friends and family visiting us. A/C worked. There were good free breakfast options. Minus: We couldn't get Wifi code to work, but we arrived late and were too tired to contact the front desk. It's likely the desk clerk entered the wrong room number. TV options were very limited. If we wanted to heat & eat a meal using the microwave, there were no table or chairs, although there was space for them. Mostly importantly, the mattress and pillows were too soft and I awoke with a neck ache and backache. In total on our trip we stayed at 6 different hotels and this one had the worst bedding, and it was among the most expensive as well. I would not stay here again. read more

The hotel is decent. The room was big and it had a good size fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Breakfast is what you would expect but I appreciate that they always have coffee, lattes, tea and hot cocoa available no matter the time of the day. The dining area was always clean. Great hardworking staff at this place! The reception area is roomy and well kept and the front desk service was impeccable. I stayed with a soccer team (15 yr old boys) which can be a handful and kept losing their keys. The staff was very accommodating. At 1:45 am on the first night of our stay, we woke up to banging on the door and someone trying to get into our room. Naturally, we were freaked out - we didn't recognize the person at the door, and shortly after, we got a call to our room from the front desk. The person on the line completely berated us, saying we shouldn't be in the room, and that someone else was booked there - as if it were our fault they double-booked our room. We let them know we'd checked in over 12 hours before, and our keys were (obviously) given to us by the front desk. This double-booking issue happened to a few others that we were traveling with as well. Others in our party didn't receive the rooms they booked and had to wait half a day for the staff to find and prepare a place for them to stay. Luckily for us, the morning staff was a lot more friendly and gave us new keys, and assured us that the issue wouldn't repeat itself. Unfortunately, I can't say that I would recommend staying here. read more

Stayed here for three nights and staff was welcoming. Parking was limited to be close to entrance as hotel was semi full, but had no issues. Housekeeping was very nice and helpful. It was a plus to get complimentary breakfast (waffles, egg, potatoes, bacon/sausage). It's a non-smoking hotel which I loved since our kids were with us in this trip. If you need to sleep on your trip, stay somewhere else. I had a very late night with a plan of sleeping til 10am. At 8:30am the landscaper with the gas-powered leaf blower started outside of my room. I called the front desk and was immediately told "you are the only person who has complained." When I asked her to have them stop, please, she said "no, sir." So, I called back again 5 minutes later to speak to management. "You are the only person that has ever complained." Very rehearsed answer, probably encouraged by the manager, who I was told was busy and unavailable to speak to me. So, I went to the front desk to check out and spoke to the "manager." Sure enough: "After 6 years, you are the only person to ever complain. No we will not apologize or refund your money, but we will give you a 10% discount and cancel your reservation for tonight." I told her that was unsatisfactory. She was not going to budge and didn't appreciate me taking her on. So, after I left I called the BW 800 number. They called the hotel. The "manager" told them that I was very rude and that "no one had ever complained before." They said they would not be refunding my money. I laughed. So, I called my CC company and disputed the charge. Probably won't win this one, but they should definitely do the right thing as a company. Poorly trained "manager" and staff. No clue how to fix an issue. The days of customer service are long gone. read more

Drove non-stop expect for fuel from Denver to Las Vegas and Captain Kirk (Priceline) got me a room here. First thing you need to know is that this hotel sits in an industrial area on all sides. You will not be walking the neighborhood at all unless you know someone at the trailer park across the street. There is a Chevron gas station a few blocks away, and a Casino and Walmart and other stores approx. 1.5-2 miles away so you have good services nearby. If this hotel was in a better area, it would cost 25-50% more to stay because it's clean and well run. The Complementary Breakfast was very good only missing one key thing: Egg Whites or a Hard Boiled Egg. The attendant kept things very clean and organized near the food. My room was very clean and neat and so were the hallways. Bed very comfortable, not as comfortable as the Mandalay Bay Hotel, but much much better than a Motel 6. Interestingly, the Best Western Soaps and Shampoos are much better quality than Mandalay Bay--go figure, however they are made in China. Staff contact was very good. Nice folks. Parking is outside in the hotel lot. It is not secured, so don't leave anything valuable showing in your car. If you stay here-you are between the Vegas strip and Lake Mead/Hoover Dam so check them out. Lake Mead has a 30 mile walking/biking path along the lake--I went--it's beautiful. I would stay here again for a night if the price was right. Guests staying here included girlfriend get together, business people, day travelers, people who just moved looking for jobs, and construction workers I saw. This is my go place when traveling north from Phoenix. The location is good for freeway access. The place let's dogs stay, the staff are always friendly and accommodating. Yes the parking can be tight and is often full on weekends and Holliday's yes not the most desirable neighborhood but this is my 5 thing staying and so far no issues. I really like the old time Casino down the road that has lots of coin machines and an gold fashion restaurant that serves food comfort food. The rooms are clean and the breakfast is good. It not everyday that one finds that with a hotel willing to accept dogs with out charging you an arm and a leg. read more

On Sunday, 10/2, I sprained my ankle and decided the best thing for my recovery would be to stay at the Best Western Plus in Henderson (my original plan was to camp). On 10/3 my ankle was still really swollen so I decided to stay one more night and take Tylenol PM to help with the pain/swelling. The night of 10/3, at 3am (so technically the morning of 10/4), a beeping furnace awoke me. I called down to the receptionist who promptly came up to my room and tried to fix the furnace. She was able to stop the beeping but was unable to fix the furnace (the air was not cold and the room was quickly warming up). By 3:30am it was determined that I would have to switch rooms. So, in pajamas and with a sprained ankle and feeling the drowsy effects of the Tylenol PM, I spent 20 minutes moving my belongings from room 231 to 229. The receptionist clearly felt bad about the inconvenience and was helpful (brought me a dolly) and told me to check in with the receptionist in the morning to discuss compensation for the inconvenience. I finally moved the contents from the fridge in 231 into a bag so that I could use the fridge in 229. Well, when I went to stock the fridge in 229, I discovered that it was not cold and did not have a freezer (the fridge in 231 had a freezer which I was using for water bottles). So at 3:50am I had to then go and put everything back in the fridge in 231. I left re-usable grocery bag that I had been using to transport the refrigerated items in 231. I was finally in bed in 229 by 4am. In the morning I talked to the manager of the hotel and he seemed to empathize with my inconvenience and told me that he needed to talk to the receptionist and that he would call me. I respected him for wanting to do his due diligence and check with the receptionist. I proceeded to gather my things to check out and when I went back in 231 I discovered that my re-usable grocery bag was gone (and it happened to be my favorite bag, very reliable, that I have used for many years). It's now been over a week and the manager has not called me. I am highly disappointed with this hotel and the management of this huge inconvenience. read more

Nope nope nope. I do not understand these reviews. We stayed here a few weeks ago and NO THANKS! We had to try multiple rooms because none of them were clean-after check in time. The surroundings are sketchy and I mean sketchy. Use the main doors and park by them too. The cops were there while we were there. By the way there is no pool. It's an empty concrete construction site. Our room was fairly clean. The fridge did not work. I unplugged it, turned it up turned it down it would not kick on. Tried everything. There were random wet spots on the carpet. It was weird. Their little shop of snacks was completely depleted. No point in even having that. The breakfast was severely lacking in options for everyone. The best part of the stay was the people that were give a key to our room in the middle of the night. They were trying to break down the door even after I yelled through the door saying SOMEONE IS ALREADY IN HERE and knocked on it from my side. They stood in the hallway saying this is our room. They gave it to us something something. We had been there since 4pm. I cannot imagine how this would've gone if we would've been at dinner and all of the locks wouldn't have been on. They could've come in and taken everything! They took $20 off of our bill for the inconvenience. What a joke. When we were trying to leave there were no carts. None not one. Come to find out housekeeping uses them so you have to take one from them. The woman had her clip board on them and was going floor to floor. I'm sorry but I did hotel housekeeping for comfort inn and we were not allowed to use those because guests need them. Stay somewhere else. read more

Dangerous place to stay. Lock your room at night because keys are given out like candy for Halloween Booked three nights for an event. Given a room above a generator. Noisy. Went outside to smoke and no one manning the front desk. Strange, angry man in the halls and elevator. Given a new room with a couple in bed. Finally have one night of sleep on the final night. Customer service was great. The manager and the front desk attendants were always helpful and friendly. The hotel rooms were outdated. They seem to have done some upgrades to the hotel but not everything. The breakfast was good. The location was a bit sketchy. It's the old pat of Henderson so it's kind of run down. There were sketchy people bumming around at night. There is a cigarette ashtray outside he hotel and I saw people digging through it. All in all not horrible but not amazing by any means. read more

While the room was neat and the bed was comfortable, that was worth a few stars. However your Front desk person was rude during our check-in; making a poor first impression of the establishment! TV in room did not work (unless you like "snow" on your screen). Not a fan of filling out a check-off list for next day's breakfast items in a "bag-to-go" type of meal. Yes, it is "better" than nothing at all ("due to covid"). However, other hotels in other cities are back to serving up their complimentary breakfast bar again (stars for normalcy) So put on your big kid pants and get back into the ball game. read more

I have stayed here twice now for work travel. No complaints it's a nice clean updated place to stay though it's off the beaten path. My visit is always welcomed with great front desk customer service and chocolate chip cookies. The beds are comfy and spacious.
