There's a lot of value for the price with this newer hotel in Pratt: we appreciated the clean, modern room with a king bed, the lush green grounds for dog-walking, and the quiet. The accommodations are spacious and thoughtfully laid out. The hotel would benefit from attention to detail: we experienced a microwave that wouldn't heat, a shower with so much pressure it was almost painful, and a toilet that almost overflowed. The free breakfast was generally good with healthy options (the automatic pancake maker is cool!) but the scrambled eggs were too salty for consumption. With a bit more attention to detail this hotel would be an amazing value. read more

The employees were not wearing masks and they were serving food buffet style during the middle of a global pandemic. Two stars because the shower was great; the rest of them removed for utter lack of respect for a deadly virus. You should be ashamed. read more

I rarely Write reviews and I felt I needed to here. I arrived at the literal beginning of the Check in time of 3:00pm. The front service was wonderful and made sure I was well taken care of. She offered and mentioned the breakfast, coffee times and disposable products as needed. After a 20hr drive from CA to KS I was wiped out and had just wanted to do my usual check of the room and sleep (Truck driver for a living, I'm used to long hours of driving). As I checked into the room they had the new chip key cards so all I needed to do was lean it against the door which made entering much easier than putting all my bags down to figure out which way to put it in correctly. As I entered the temperature control was perfect at 73 degrees and had a clean smell to the room. As I did the normal bed bugs and such check I very happily Found Nothing! No spiders, no bedbugs, no ants, and no bugs of any kind. Now it's the little things that I find that matter the most such as the strong water pressure in the shower and that the Hot water heated up very quickly. The TV was positioned perfectly in front of the bed and not off to the side. The bed was comfortable with the pillows being not too comfy nor too firm, I did not want to leave that bed in the morning. I have stayed in many, many Hotels, Motels and alike. The 2 greatest bits that stand out would be the the Toilet paper was thick and not see through thin and the HI-SPEED WI-FI was actually HI-SPEED. It loaded better than my home internet. Could just be my position at the end of the corridor of the second floor but it was perfect! I did not stay long enough to check out the Breakfast but I'm sure that I would have enjoyed it as much as the room. I have found that hotels in the Midwest tend to be the best ones to stay at. This location was one of them. The parking was ample and close and the young lady at the front desk was friendly and genuine. The room was clean and modern. $95.00, with tax, to stay here. In my travels across the country this rate is fantastic for what you get in return. I did not try the complimentary breakfast since I was up and on the road early. read more

This is a great hotel. Both the rooms and all of the amenities are clean and in order. The staff was friendly and helpful. All requests (towels, blankets) were answered immediately and happily. The kids loved the pool and hot tub. It was well stocked with pool towels and there was plenty of seating. We will stay at this hotel every time we are in the area. read more

I recently made a visit through Pratt and chose to stay at the Best Western Plus. The hotel itself and the accommodations were great. The bed was superb! Great night sleep. The room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was decent. Shower hot. Etc. The staff severely lacked. Upon check in, the boy followed us in from a car parked out front to check us in. He wasn't at the desk. I asked if my card was for incidentals or to pay for the room. He confirmed twice that I would pay on my way out the next morning and my card was just for incidentals. I was going to pay cash for the room, but know that hotels need a card on file just in case. After getting to my room, I forgot my toothbrush and had to go back down to the front desk and request a disposable. At that time, a friend of the worker at the desk was leaning on the desk chatting. I obviously interrupted a social conversation and he left stating he would "catch up with you later, man." I also have a nose. At that point I realized both boys had been sitting in the car out front when I arrived hot boxing. And my card was, in fact, charged. I approached the desk the next morning for a refund and paid cash. Days later and it is still a pending charge, when I had been assured that wasn't what would happen. I also requested a late check out of 11:30 am. There were 5 cars in the parking lot of a probably 300 room hotel. I drove 7 hours for a funeral and wanted to change into something comfortable before I drove 7 hours home. I was made to feel like it was such an inconvenience. After returning to change, my key didn't work even though I had been told I could have late check out and had to return to the desk again to get a new key and claim my luggage from the room. I don't plan on retuning to Pratt anytime soon, but when/if I do, I will be staying at the Hampton across the street. read more

This is a new hotel, and I'm glad we gave it a try. While traveling across Kansas, we needed a roll in shower room, and we made calls to our usual go-to chains and had no luck. But, we kept calling, and drove a little farther when we found the BW. The room was huge, the bed comfortable, and the shower well-designed. Why not give five stars? Small things...the clanging of large cans outside the window during the night, the shower head kept coming apart, and the bathroom tiles were very slippery when wet. Very nice! There was aluminum foil on top of the smoke detector that someone put on it to smoke in the room I guess. But the hotel, staff, and breakfast was great. Totally recommend it. read more
