Going up the gondola to the very top you can walk around and hike and onsite food and treats up there. They have shops, liquor store no need to leave the resort. The pool is great and have a hot tub on the 3 floor which is out doors which is very cool. Overall I will highly recommend to check it out if you are in the area.

He was accommodating with letting us store our expensive bikes in the laundry room so the bikes wouldn't be on our bike racks overnight. The buffet breakfast in the am is tasty and considering it's free, it really hits the spot for warm grub before getting started on the day! One interesting thing that I saw on this past trip was they had allowed a homeless individual into the dining area to eat. Kudos to them, for doing that as I'm certain in buffet type settings a lot of the food gets thrown out at the end of each meal and this time someone who could use it definitely benefited! There were still some last minute guest eating breakfast but none of us minded and appreciated this small gesture of compassion. Onto the room review- beds were super comfy with lots of pillows on each. Sheets were crisp and clean, duvet comforter was just the right weight, I slept like a baby every time I stay here and purposely lounge in bed as late as I can! Bathrooms were clean and towels were very plush! Kids always comment on the rain shower heads and if we can get the same for our house No comments on the pool as we usually roll in later at night and just want to have dinner and crash. It's great value for the money and it's one (if not the newest) hotel out there.

It is located right beside Best Western Plus but it is not exactly the same level. Like all Best Western hotels, they include a free breakfast. Don't have high expectations of the breakfast here. Both days that we stayed here, we were not served any meat. The food was kind of meh. I do like playing with the waffle machine but that doesn't mean I like eating their waffles. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. The stay was around $200 a night. The location isn't bad either. There are free parking on site. Staff were friendly. Nothing too wow.

So this is Stoke Hotel under BW but it looks like an old hotel or motel converted. The room is small but clean. For a couple of nights, this is fine. Plus the price is definitely "cheaper" than many other hotels nearby. Around $180+ tax/night when we were here in September. BW Plus would be $230 or more in the same time period and other places can get to $300 and up. Just to give context to pricing during the shoulder season. They provide LaCoupe toiletries which I like. Earplugs too. Maybe for the train? I didn't hear it over the sound of the AC. The room is basic with things you need. A microwave, small fridge, luggage rack and a blind for the window to block the Sun and for privacy from people from walking past. The bed is comfortable but the pillows are hit and miss. Some are harder like an inflatable and others are softer. The only thing I don't like is the sink in the bathroom. It is so low that I have to bend over to brush my teeth. The hot tub is actually pretty nice. I used it in the morning when it's not so busy. At night it's really dark and insects come out to play. Breakfast is included. Unfortunately it is not as good as BW Plus. For the two mornings we were there, only eggs were part of the protein spread. No bacon or sausage at all. The BW waffle was also not that nice compared to when I had it at other BW Plus. The hash browns were terrible. The highlight was the jams and spreads for the toast and muffin. I like the variety as there were cream cheese and Nutella besides fruit jams and peanut butter. There were fruits, cereals, muffins, banana bread (this disappeared quickly and not replenished) and yogurt. Bottom line: Good basic place to stay if you're on a budget. Just don't expect more. Free parking is also a plus. And free wifi too. Location is also good as it's just after the bridge into Revelstoke and it is surrounded by many fast food chains and gas stations. The only thing that prohibited that is the fact that several restaurants we were interested in were closed for a few evenings. Apparently our visit coincided with the end of ski season. I loved the touches in the room- Hudson Bay blanket, lovely pillows, all natural toiletry products. And breakfast, to die for! Tasty and healthy and all the flavors we love. Coffees and other beverages out 24/7 not to mention the delicious tarts left for us on check-in. No shoes Inn, which is the same as our home so we didn't mind, but just so you are aware. I would recommend they put some stickers on a few of the windows. When we pulled in an injured dove was in the parking lot, a bloody beak so we assume she ran into a window. While having our coffee the next morning in room 3, two birds hit the front window very loudly. Heartbreaking but easy enough to fix.

Much needed in the height of summer temperature reaching the mid to high 30c. It still carries Bee Kind amenities and I love that brand! It is outside the downtown area of Revelstoke, so you will need to drive into town or take the shuttle for $2 per way. It is about 5 mins away. I like the hot tub. There are two! One outdoor with a view of the mountains and everyone looking at you. The other is in the lower level where the small fitness center is. There are also steam room and sauna and shower area and lounge area there. There are also complimentary beverages like coffee, tea (teavana) and fruit infused water in the morning. After that, only water is available. The lounge area is quite big with a pool table. You can be kept occupied even if you spend a whole day indoors. I'll stay here again if I ever visit Revelstoke again.

The site of the last spike - where Canada became a nation, is well worth a day outing and is 25 minutes West from the hotel. The world famous Roger's Pass and McDonald Tunnel are about 1 Hour East and there is a National Park Visitor Experience Center at Roger's pass. We booked a room at the Fairfield by Marriot Inn & Suites Revelstoke. We checked in and after about four hours started getting ready for bed. I took my French bulldog downstairs to go outside before turning in. At this time, the staff representative told us we had to leave because pets are not allowed. At no time were we made aware that pets were not welcome. I asked for a refund, assistance finding another room in high season during a storm, or to speak with someone who could give us permission to stay. All requests were denied. We booked through Expedia and were told to contact them. I begged her to make an exception given the late hour, the blizzard, and that I was traveling alone with my child. She told me no without concern or apology. My daughter & I were both pretty upset when we left. I just spent hours on the phone with Marriot and Expedia trying to find another room and obtain a refund, while my daughter needed me to console her and to go to bed. We finally found a room at the Sandman Inn and are safe. Shame on you Marriott.
