I authorized him to leave the vase, but at 38°, he told me it was too cold to leave outside. He left a notice for the recipient to call him to redeliver, which he graciously did. Very satisfied. I've ordered and received flowers from Bethany Florist for many years. Twice I've returned roses. The most recent delivery of roses lasted 3 days. The florist offered to sent out another dozen (as they did in the past). We were headed out of town and could not transport a dozen roses. The response was "we'll give you a box'. Because we were headed out of town, I thought about giving them to someone that might needed cheering up during the holidays. In the condition they were in, it would've been an embarrassment. After a 15 minute phone conversation back and forth with the florist about them wanting replace the roses, I asked them to send a Christmas arrangement instead thinking that would transport easier. I was told that the Christmas arrangement would be $80, the cost of the roses. The employee put me on hold to ask the owner. When she returned her first words were, "The owner said, "WE'LL DO IT THIS TIME" in a tone as if she were talking to a two year old. I expected an apology, not to feel as if I were being scolded. I would expect a dozen roses that cost $80+delivery to last a little longer than 3 days and I certainly would've expected a different reaction from the owner. The roses were picked up and a Christmas arrangement of pine sprigs, pinecones and carnations was left in its place. read more

Stopped in this florist and worked with a very nice girl who put together a beautiful arrangement in a pretty tin round box to surprise my wife with later that morning. The service was amazing, the prices were incredibly affordable, and the flowers were gorgeous. My wife said they were the nicest she has ever received. Bright large arrangement (Ta-da) was ordered. Dark red/purple arrangement was delivered. I sent an email, got a call about the order. Explanation: 'There's a disclaimer that they can substitute when flowers are not available'. I guess customer service is off the table. They could have called to say they would substitute. But no, it's ok to send a less robust, less colorful arrangement for the same price. And, I was told that if the recipient was not happy with the arrangement in a few days, they would send out another. So, I guess I need to call the birthday girl an assignment. No. I expected more. This is not 1800Flowers or any other discount service. We have ordered from BF before. This is the last time. I would recommend not shopping at Bethany Florist. But, if you do, check with the recipient to see what was actually delivered. Horrible experience. read more

Excellent florist. I usually ask them to make a bouquet based on what they have that's good, and they never fail. Their designs are beautiful, reasonably priced, and they last forever. Check out the photo of flowers on DAY 8 of bringing them home!! They look better after a week than many places do after a day! Call them, tell them what your wife or mom or whoever likes and doesn't like, and it will be terrific. read more

These folks are amazing! We lost a friend of ours just before Christmas this year and wanted to quickly send a condolence arrangement to his family. My Mom had to have some surgery done and being in CA I was unable to actually go to a store and pick out flowers. The nice lady on the phone asked what was the reason for the flowers and how much I wanted to spend. I asked if $50 was enough to get a decent arrangement and she said she would make it work for me. Ordered flowers for my daughter's birthday ask for colorful flowers, mylar balloons. Paid $63 and I got yellow flowers three purple irises three pink carnations. I also got two mylar balloons and two latex balloons which I didn't even ask for. $40 for the flowers $10 for delivery fee and the rest was for balloons. I would have done better if I would have went to Weis and bought flowers from there and balloons from there. I called them and she said she would replace them but it's too late her birthday was yesterday. read more
