I'm writing this after 6 weeks of treatment, and from the first appointment through today he's listened to every concern and guided me through an ACL tear, MCL sprain, dislocated knee, etc. When you're in pain and just looking to get back to your normal life, it's great to have people working along side you, taking it just as seriously but with a great attitude as well. As an elite CrossFit athlete and season 1 NBC Titan Games competitor, I was devastated when I tore my ACL. However, working with the very best, Dr.Amato and Dr. Camp, I was regaining my mobility and strength, safely and effectively, as we began working together less than a week post surgery. Dr. Parsa and his team at PKL are magicians, this is probably an understatement. I had shoulder surgery and constant spasms in my neck area and with the help of the personal in this office, I remain pain free and more importantly, my mobility gets better week after week. I went in because I was told by two of my coaches that they were the best. When I got there I filled out the paperwork and found out while sitting there that they charge 4 percent on top of the fee for credit cards! When I asked if they would make an exception because it was my first time, they gave me a BS excuse that it was automatically charged! Anyway I left and they didn't care that I left! My wife needed physical therapy so I brought her here. I asked about the cost and they told me there was no charge. I said great, lets make some appointments. Well it was great for the first 2-3 appointments. My wife got sick and was unable to return. About 2 months later I got a bill. It wasn't much but I was told there would be no charge. I called and was told that it was at that time there was no charge. You see when I was told there was no charge, I figured it was no charge. It was complete BS. If they made a mistake they should have owned up to it and I would have been OK with that. The physical therapy was just fine. read more

Bethpage Physical Therapy (Evan Bronchick) changed my life for the better. On September 13th, 2014 I went through a freak accident, where I slipped in water and shattered my humerus. On September 16th, 2014 I went through a 7 hour surgery where my orthopedic had pieced me back together. It took a plate and 16 screws to put the pieces back together. I suffered from radial palsy and frozen shoulder as well post-surgery. My orthopedist said this was the worse injury he had seen in the last 40 years he had practiced. Many people believed that I was screwed for life due to this surgery. After a couple of months of recovery I tried my orthopedic's physical therapist and he pushed me too hard too fast. Also this physical therapist did not really care about my overall well being physically, mentally, and emotionally. Serious injuries will not only effect you physically, but mentally and emotionally as well. My friend soon after recommended me to Bethpage Physical Therapy and I met with Evan Bronchick. Most people, who saw me after my injury were in shock and didn't really have faith that I would ever be back to normal. Evan had the faith that he could get me back or very close to living a normal life again. To be honest I didn't have a lot of confidence in myself that I would ever even be close range of motion wise and strength wise. But Evan swooped right in working with me three times a week. In the beginning I couldnt turn my wrist, or even lift my fingers. He made sure to be careful with such a serious injury, making me feel comfortable throughout. He worked from my finger tips to my shoulder over several months. As I also said, this injury didn't only effect me physically, but emotionally. I was pretty depressed through it, but Evan always kept a smile on my face with his sense of humor and kind words. I worked with Evan for 2.5 years and my range of motion (although not perfect due to screws and plate) has come a long way and I can do basic life skills like brushing my hair and tying my shoes, opening doors, driving etc. I couldn't do any of this, let alone even lift a finger on my left hand before meeting Evan. My strength has significantly gotten better and will continue to work on it. Evan Bronchick is the best physical therapist I know. I was directed here by my doctor and told to have Mike Camp work on me. I asked for him and was shuffled off to another therapist. Each time I asked for him I was told that he was not available and given a different therapist. THis happened at least 4 times, and I left and went to Farmingdale Physical Therapy East. Mike Camp is one of the main reasons I don't live in pain in anymore. I had a massive back fusion surgery on L4 and L5 and L5 S1 and after seeing many physical therapists over a 20+ year period... no one had more knowledge and provided the right exercises other than Mike. He even was able to identify other problems with my walking and posture that were also creating problems in my back. He was by far the best Physical therapist I have ever met and I owe my recovery to him. Yes I had a great surgeon but I had a better Physical Therapist who was a major driver in my recovery. My daughter hurt her leg playing high school basketball. She had a sprained mcl and could not walk well when we went to see Mike Camp. Mike did a tremendous job getting her back in shape for her last games and playoff games. When the orthopedic and school trainers could not get any positive results. The results were great, but Mike was also nice enough to help explain and educate myself and my daughter how best to recover. He was hands on and had a great rapport with my daughter that helped her through the process. His bedside manner was as good as his technical knowledge and expert manipulations of her knee. read more
