We are Americans that have recently relocated to San Sebastian with our two beloved cats. Sadly, we lost our beloved 18.5 yr old a few nights ago. Our veterinarian recommended Beti Zurekin for cremation services. My husband and I were pleasantly surprised that they offer a door-to-door, next day service. Upon looking at their website, we learned that they also offer a service where you can choose to witness the cremation in from a private room. This is truly a wonderful service to offer. It is very rare in the US that this type of service is even offered for humans, never mind our precious pets. Unfortunately I was too exhausted and upset to leave our home for such a service, otherwise we would have. Instead, we had someone from Beti Zurekin come to our home within a hour of our phone call. He received the body of our sweet kitty in a respectful manner. He showed us our urn options via photos and we chose a simple wooden box with paw prints on top. The next morning we got a call that our cat's remains would be delivered within an hour. They were true to their word. The wooden box turned out to be the perfect choice for us.
