We went to the Cumming location on Tribble Gap. Service was disappointing from the moment we walked in. The kitchen is open to the dining area, and several employees looked at us, but no one greeted or acknowledged us for a while. Eventually, a lady came to the register, but there was still no greeting or welcoming attitude. It honestly set a negative tone from the start. The food prices were also noticeably higher than most taquerias in the area, especially considering online prices from just a few months ago were over a dollar cheaper on several items. We decided to give this place a try instead of going to places like Sol Tamales or SaraBellas, these two places are our ultimate Taquerias but unfortunately we won't be returning to Betos at all. Even when our food was brought to the table, it was simply placed down without any interaction or courtesy. Customer service makes a big difference in the restaurant industry, and a friendly attitude goes a long way. Beto's has the best salsa bar of any fast casual Mexican place: beyond various salsa, they have pickled onions, radishes, and limes. The enchiladas verdes were pretty great. This particular location is kind of tucked away in a parking lot off Windward Parkway. They have a nice little patio. read more

Tacos carne asada are ok too over cooked the meat tho, look like ground beef but tastes good, taco de lengua was great but my menudo soup that always love was too salty and too red for my taste this time! and maybe need add some rice on the side or some sort of veggies in it, so soup still in fridge. We stopped into Beto's while in town and were so impressed! The atmosphere is modern, clean, and surprisingly fun for a late-night spot. The staff was absolutely on top of everything--super attentive without hovering. They brought complimentary chips to our table (so good with all the salsa bar options!) and the second we were running low, they refilled them without us even asking. My husband ordered the Super Huarache, which can be hard to find, and it was fantastic. If I'm being picky, the bread was a little dense/thick--but we still ate every bite. I got asada and al pastor street tacos, and they were delicious. A touch greasy, but honestly that kept them from being dry, so no complaints here. Overall, this was such a great late-night stop for us. Took my family to Beto's Tacos in Suwanee, GA, and I'm still dreaming about the meal! The food was absolutely amazing, hands down some of the best Mexican we've had in a while. We ordered a total smorgasbord: birria tacos with the richest, most flavorful consommé I've ever tasted, carne asada street tacos that were juicy and perfectly seasoned, and a burrito that was just out of this world. Normally, we'd have leftovers to take home, but it was so darn good we devoured every bite. We left feeling pleasantly plump, about-to-pop full. . .but it was 100% worth it. The staff made the experience even better. From the moment we walked in, they were on it. The guy at the register taking my order was super flirtatious in the best way, gave my ego a little boost, not gonna lie! Chips and salsa hit the table as soon as we sat down, and the team kept checking on us to make sure we were good. I ordered a side of corn, but before I made the order, I specifically asked if it's fresh off the cob and the young guy said yes. I reconfirmed that it's definitely freshly cut off the cob and again yes but what I got was machine cut mayo doused nasty corn. Absolutely delicious. There's a salsa bar which is always fantastic. The dish called "gringas," which is essentially a quesadilla, is one of the best quesadillas I've ever had. It comes with delicious fresh pineapple on the side that complements the pork so well. Tacos are on the more authentic side, but they don't heat up the corn tortillas at all which is a bit disappointing. My favorite taco is the pork belly. It has huge pieces of succulent pork belly with beautiful pickled onion on top. Can't recommend enough. The guac is also perfect, as are the free chips that you get with every order. It gets quite busy during lunch rush but I've never waited super long. I don't recommend ordering delivery though, they often leave off toppings which is disappointing when you're expecting the toppings you're used to. I'm a taco connoisseur, especially authentic corn tacos so I was looking forward to trying this place. I've heard people say it was the best tacos ever and eh, I'd say they're decent. They aren't horrible by any means but I've had better. You order at the front (or via the kiosk) and they are pretty prompt and bringing your food out to you. There's plenty of seating available and I would say it's very large group friendly especially when it's not super packed. I do love the sauce bar aspect--loved that I could combine sauces and toppings until I got the flavor of my preference. Taco fillings were seasoned very nicely--I got al pastor, pork belly, and blackened fish. The pork belly was absolutely my favorite. So flavorful! Wasn't a fan of the rice. Wasn't the typical Mexican rice or even cilantro rice I'm used to getting with tacos and it was just very meh. I added sauces on top to compensate. Overall, I'd give this 3.5/5 stars if I could! This is a nice casual place I like to go to every few weeks to get some birria tacos and the sandwiches that they make. The chorizo sandwich and quesbirria is the best thing on the menu. They do not have much alcoholic beverages aside from some beers and margarita. Unless you are an hardcore alcoholic the beer and margarita are good choices to have with your food. I like the sauces they give you because they are nice and spicy. The pickled onions and such are nice also. You stand in line and make the order and sit down at the table. read more

Just had a fantastic lunch here. Wanted to try a variety of tacos. Tripa, Lengua, Buche, Cochinita Pibil, Carnitas all on corn tortillas. As a lengua fan it was the star of the show for me. The Tripa was a surprise as it was cooked crisp which gave a lovely texture not found in other tacos. I can see the mildly sweeter cochinita pibil suited to those fans of pulled pork and those that need some sweetness with their spice. Still debating my feelings on the carnitas and buche. Both were fine but I'd have to try again if there are traits to make them stand out. Service was top notch, though I did come for early lunch on Saturday at 11:20am and not during a rush period. Was checked on multiple times and all pleasant. Was even guided through the salsa bar all of which were great in their own ways. Solid green sauce, of which I'm not usually a fan of at many places. My favorite on the tacos themselves was the medium Charred Morita. The slightly smoky flavor was brilliant against the rich meat. The complimentary chips for dine in are light, thin, and the most impressive thing is that they were only lightly salted. Many places overly salt their chips for my taste. After we sat, a guy brought some chips to our table and a cup to get salsa from the salsa bar. I was overwhelmed at the salsa bar because I wanted to try them all! We got some of the "Salsa Mexicana - medium" and the "Green avocado salsa" and I also got some of the "sniper salsa" and man this Last one was hot! The green one was my favorite! I could not believe how good the mango juice was! Do yourself a favor and try it! It taste just like home to me! I grew up drinking fresh mango juice and this one is spot on! I've had betos a few times and it's been really good every time. I love their tostada if you like crunchy foods. All the veggies and meat are a great combo with the crunch too so it feels well balanced. Their birria tacos are also great with the dipping soup that it comes with. The birria is very soft but it's definitely a much more savory pick with the flavors and soup dip. Both these dishes are somewhere around 12-14 dollars and very filling in my opinion. I thought the tostada looked small on the menu but I was so full when I ate it because it stacks up pretty high. Every table gets chips and salsa for free and there is a salsa bar to try out different sauces/garnishes. Customer service has been very nice. You order and then they bring you the food. I ordered my food on the phone and placed a time that I wanted to pick it up so my food would still be hot. I received a text message saying it was ready 15 minutes before I was to arrive. I got there 5 minutes after my request so that's 20 minutes that my food was prepared. It was cold and they said they would make another order. As I stepped to the counter the cook is putting my cheese in the microwave and was about to do the same with my entrée. I had to say that wasn't acceptable. The cashier Mateo was so rude and condescending. He went back and forth with me basically saying that I was wrong for ordering it at the time I wanted to pick it up. I was confused and asked if he wanted food he pays for from a microwave. He started to speak with the manager in Spanish and I shared that I felt it was rude to do that while we were still in the middle of the situation. He started yelling saying that I told him that he couldn't speak in his native language so basically calling me racist. By looking at me it's hard to know what race I am so I confirmed with the manager if heard me say that and he said no and that it was rude to do. In order to deescalate the situation he asked the cashier to go to the back. He was actually begging him but he refused and continued to be disrespectful and now just rude. I then raised my voice and asked him if he wanted me to share what he was doing to me so everyone could know how rude and nasty he was treating me. I then asked the manager for the owners information and he obliged. I then shared my complaint and they shared that they would call me back with an update but they texted me instead. They shared that I am welcomed to come to the restaurant because the cashier said that I couldn't come back with his nasty attitude and comments.
