They have much more different items including foods, so it is a bit shame that they do not offer it in UK. I like their gel type pen, it is very smooth writing!

Everything at Muji is innovative and very accessible unlike a lot of homeware stores that sell storage that look good but aren't necessarily good at the function. Muji's products although very simple; the clothes for example tend to be made of natural fabrics and one colour, nothing bright or garish, look good on and are good quality. I could buy everything in this store. Prices are reasonable and I am always finding useful things, whether it be a teapot, and a storage box for my make up.

The staff were very helpful, i dealt with a man called Paul (Who is the new owner) and helped guide me to what I wanted. Bolton Bathrooms have installers that subcontract for them, this worried me at first but the working relationship between the showroom staff is exactly what you want when having project like this undertaken in your home. There were one or two small issues that made themselves apparent mid job but within the hour of reporting it BB and the installer had come to a solution, solved it and informed me (at no extra cost!). I can't recommend Bolton Bathrooms enough - Everyone was transparent from the get go and they took everything off of my hands from the initial meeting when i had arranged for one of them to come out and measure.

However, we were disappointed and eventually took our custom elsewhere. The problems were two-fold. Firstly, whilst there was a lot of stuff on show, none of it particularly inspired us: it seemed to have been put together in the shop in a rather haphazard way, and not 'installed' particularly well at all. Secondly, the customer service wasn't anything to write home about. The staff did not seem especially attentive and whilst they took our details and threw together a bathroom design (which they then posted out to us), we weren't very impressed: the design seemed drab and mass-produced rather than something individualised and inspiring. However, the design was quite well-priced. All in all, the one word that springs to mind is mediocre. Some folk have managed to elevate mediocrity to an art form (think the England cricket team), but I'm afraid I can't even write that of Bolton Bathrooms Ltd Maybe you'll do better if you investigate these people yourself -- but we went elsewhere in the end.

I ordered a toilet which subsequently leaked and caused me a £200 water bill in 3 months. They sent…read moreme a replacement inlet valve which I had to have fitted at my cost. They tested the old one and said nothing was wrong with it. Water was still leaking into the pan but they did not believe me so I sent them a video to show water was still leaking.. They declared they did not know this! T They then said it was the flush valve so sent me a new one. Again, at my expense, I had it fitted but the water did not stop leaking. I took another video and sent it them. They then told me I needed a new inlet valve to deal with high water pressure. How they could come to this conclusion without testing is beyond me. I asked them how on earth I was to test the water. Their response: call out a plumber. They then told me that I needed to send the toilet back again for testing resulting in me having no toilet. I decided to cut my losses, so I had fitted a new inlet valve from James Hargreaves Plumbers merchants who were fantastic and it worked first time. I sent the Better Bathrooms inlet valve and the flush valve back to Better Bathrooms for testing. It took two courier attempts to pick it up because they failed to make a correct booking. They tested and said there was nothing wrong with the products. I have incurred hours of emails, phone calls, waiting in for couriers to not show up and the expense of three plumbers coming to fit these parts and a £200 water bill. I'm now taking them to court.

We paid £3000 of this as an interim and he was…read moredue to get the rest on satisfactory completion. to date he has not complete the work - 5 weeks after the start date. He was totally unprofessional, very aggresive and the standard of his work was completely inadequate. The free standing bath and tap were not properly fixed, he had not fitted the shower door, the sink plugs were not fitted, plaster was left all over the wooden window frames and the tongue and groove paneling he fitted was atrocious. He was full of excuses for his shoddy work and when he returned to correct faulty work he caused damage to our brand new wooden window frames (cost £1000). Having damaged the window frame he left the job and sent us a load of inflammatory libellous text messages. We have contacted the citizens advice bureau - to forward our complaint to trading standards. Additionally we contacted corgi - on his website he claims to be corgi registered but doesn't show up on their website. Steer well clear.
