Better Days Avo, Açaí Better Days Bowl, Berry Matcha
    Caroline L.

Food was great! Coffee and matcha was watery, must be too much ice or ratio is off. Interior decor and patio was beautiful! This place was cute and next to our favorite bike store. It's a bit more secluded with plenty of parking. Most guests were chilling and chatting as the ambiance is really nice and peaceful. I'd come for brunch and food items and maybe try just a basic cappuccino next time and not an iced drink. Ordered: - Better Days Avo - very good with a spicy kick - Better Days Bowl - refreshing açaí bowl - Berry Matcha - watery not that good - Better Basic Latte - also weirdly watery

After having this place bookmarked forever, my husband and I finally came for breakfast and also brought our laptops to get some work done. First of all, this space is gorgeous! My heart was happy to see this beautiful desert themed space, complete with cacti of course! There was a variety of seating options as well as 2 patios when weather is nice. Service was fairly friendly. I opted for a seasonal drink; Coconut Cloud Matcha. It was okay. I wish they used a different brand of coconut water as this one was a little bland. My husband had the Tropic Mango Lemonade which was good, but a tad too sweet for him. For breakfast, I got the Better Days Avo toast which was really good, but also felt a little overpriced. It also was slightly over toasted which made it tough to cut through the crust. My husband had a bagel with cream cheese which he said was very small and not filling. Despite the atmosphere being a desert lovers dream, there was a lack of outlet plugs. It seemed only the 4 seats in the back room had access to plugs; thankfully our laptops were fully charged. The music was also WAY too loud for a place where friends gather to chat and students/professionals come to work or study. My husband had to put his air pods in just to help lessen the noise because it was giving him a headache. Staff were also slamming doors constantly; kitchen door & bathroom doors. I'm talking jump a little in your seat because of the unexpected slamming sound of doors. Restrooms also needed some love; soap was very low, toilet paper was almost out, and it was a little dirty with other customers leaving used hand towels on the sink as well as on the floor next to the filled trash bin. I wanted to love this place so much, primarily because the atmosphere is so enticing, but our experience fell a bit short. Perhaps we'll come back to try other drinks and skip the food, but our first impression was not great. My two stars were for the staff members that were friendly and the beautifully decorated interior. I felt like everything else fell short.

This was my second time at Better Days, and both visits were solid. I stopped by today after an early morning hike at Red Rock and got the lavender ube matcha with almond milk. It was lightly sweet (just sweet enough), and the floral flavor from the lavender wasn't overpowering. I really enjoyed it. The first time I came was over the summer with a friend. We split the Green Goddess sandwich and even though it took a little time to be ready, it was good and filling. I like the beet hummus on it. The cafe's vibe is adorable. There are plants everywhere, it's clean, there's plenty of seating, and there's a little t.v. that plays old cartoons. It does get pretty busy and the tables are a bit close together, but it's not too bad. There's a back patio and a few tables in front of the cafe, too. Dogs are welcome on the patio, and the WiFi is fast. They also let you build your own Acai bowls and there are a ton of topping options, which I love. Overall, great atmosphere and I'll keep stopping by whenever I'm in the Summerlin area.

Ummmm cuuuuuuuuttteeeee! The ambiance, the snacks, the coffee, the cute little vintage sale. Get out!! So cute. So yummy

    Spicy turkey Club

For starters, my coworkers and I used to LOVE this place. We would order a minimum once a week and some weeks we even ordered 3 times a week because we loved it so much. However, as of recent we have noticed that service, quality and overall satisfaction with this establishment has declined. Today was essentially the last straw. My coworkers and I both ordered the spicy turkey club one with prosciutto and one without. We both had two thin slices of turkey and she had ???? Half a slice of prosciutto? If it wasn't for the flavor of the actual sandwich then I would give this review a 1 star. Their drinks have always been average to me but what always set them apart was their food. Now that this has been happening, I'd rather order elsewhere. I am not sure if the quality has gone down due to the new location opening and the rotate of staff, but it's definitely not as great as it used to be.

Really cute shop inside!! I love the decor and all the plants. We got two lattes- one Spanish latte and one vanilla Madagascar The Spanish one was really good and had a perfect balance of coffee and syrup But the vanilla one was really gross. I was shocked how bad it was considering it was the first item on the special lattes. It just had no flavor and it was wayyy too milky. I wanted to ask and have it remade but it was my first time there so wasn't sure how they would react. I would come back specifically for the Spanish latte though

Girl who got upset because I spoke up about a simple mistake on my açaí bowl

I love how this place looks inside. The food and drinks are decent. Idk if they hired some new people that just don't really like working here... today, my boyfriend and I got coffee and 2 blended bowls. There was just a slight mistake, so I told the girl who was working there. I got confused about what the chia pudding looked like, but at the end of it all, I just needed cacao nibs and my boyfriend needed chia seeds because they missed those. Super simple and not even a big deal. I was so polite to her, and this girl just didn't like that I existed, so I'm sorry to bother her by asking for what I wrote down on my ticket. She ended up tossing the toppings away to start over. I did tell her that she didn't need to do that, but she insisted that that's how they do things there, so I just shut up and shut down at this point. She talked to 2 other coworkers about the order... NO URGENCY from anyone at all. This guy with highlights finally starts making it. They called my name out for 1 bowl, and we had to wait a little longer for the other one, so we're there looking stupid walking up and down, confused. They were hardly any people there. We waited 10-15 mins (I wish I was joking). I believe they were doing this on purpose out of spite, which is really evil if you think about it. I didn't wanna argue or have issues. Just wanted the simple mistake to be fixed, but they feel as if I've insulted them by speaking up. That's just immature and rude for no reason. Even after the 2nd bowl was done, they still messed up. I just gave up at that point because of anxiety, but my boyfriend got up and asked for the chia pudding. I really don't understand. Just, PLEASE, fix it like how the ticket says it. (Btw she dug through the trash to find my açaí bowl ticket before she continued to make drinks and orders for people without washing her hands). A normal, decent person would listen and just simply fix what needed to be fixed quickly and with a little enthusiasm too. This person just straight up hated how I'm alive or something. The awkward part was that she kept looking at me after everything.. like I get it, you want me to leave. Guys, just please I'm begging you not to be rude and to just be decent, normal people. I wasn't asking for a lot. You don't have to be angry or spiteful just because someone spoke up about fixing their order. Aside from making sure you wash your hands at a reasonable occasion, that's all really.

What's up with all these fake 5 star reviews recently? Better Days is all around terrible. Horrible small parking lot and their employees have absolutely no clue what customer service is. Guess that's what happens when Gen Zs are in the working world nowadays. The barista's behavior on Sunday 10/5 with the glasses and hair in a short ponytail acted like she would rather be anywhere than here. Maybe they had her stay past her shift or something. Already waited for about 10 mins, I saw a few drinks being called to customers who ordered after me. I wanted to make sure my Spanish latte did not get lost in the mix. I asked her about said drink and without even making eye contact, she informed me she's making it now. Alrightttt....sorry I bothered you. Also ordered a green goddess sandwich and it was well over 25 minutes now (not even waiter service restaurants take this long! This is just a sandwich!) Once again, someone got their food after me and she arrived like 5 min ago! I knew my sandwich was definitely forgotten. I should've asked somebody else but I asked her again and she went back to the kitchen to inquire and informed me it'll be out. No apology, nothing. Disappointing lunch. One star for a really good iced Spanish latte. Perfect espresso/milk/cinnamon ratio. One star for a tasty green goddess sandwich.

This coffee shop is so cute and the location is great. Plenty of parking. There are limited seating options so consider to go if it's busy. I didn't get any food, but the açaí bowls looked great and there's a create your own option. I got the cherry chocolate chip latte. The coffee wasn't for me, but the employees were extremely hard working and friendly. The coffee itself was a little bitter for my taste. My husband got the banana coffee and that one was almost too milky and barely any coffee taste.

My wife brags a lot about this place and I can see why. She always get the build your own build (must get the house made butter) and I got the cacao mushroom smoothie. The smoothie was delicious, creamy, and refreshing! All ingredients were fresh and we're definitely coming back!

Spicy ricotta toast....a bit of a party for your mouth.

Having been here dozens of times when this spot was Peet's Coffee, I have a feel of the prior footprint. Although I am a Peet's Coffee fan, this spot is cozy and cute in a way that Peet's could and never will be. It also lacks the drive-thru option that was a detriment to Peet's but not to a local spot like Better Days. Although I only find my beverages OK at best on the occasions in which I am here (quality and size, I am just a simple pour-over girl), I find their food choices a bit more interesting and satisfying compared to their coffee. The toasts are my personal go-to, but at Better Days it is all about the BYOB "Build Your Own Bowl," which is just not my personal thing. Spicy ricotta toast is a party for my taste buds though. Better Days is a not the corporate giant coffee shop and is everything I seek out to support local business, so I cut it a bit more slack. Did you know it is a cousin of Little Avalon located at Sahara & Fort Apache? Small, intimate, feels warm and welcoming (although sometimes the staff feels less welcoming than the actual space), conducive to real working if you can get a spot (for space can often be limited). I kind of love the little retail area selling local stuff and incredibly well made Better Days merch (although sizes are often limited, the t-shirts are a real good quality). I also like the outside seating options in front as well as in back of the establishment. No drive-thru, parking can get tough on occassion, pour-over coffee gets a slight room for improvement, but still a 4 Star Yelp to me.

Will go here every time I'm in Vegas!! So many great toppings and choices and their açaí bowls are great. Perfect place to study and hang out. I really enjoyed the DIY bowl and love the Amazon açaí, the creamy coconut, and ube base. I tried the matcha one on a separate visit and it was good- just not my go to. So many choices of fruit and toppings, and they offer two different sizes for a $2.00 difference. It's a perfect summer or year long treat and great to see they are opening multiple locations throughout the Vegas area. Service is great - order at the front and they call your name. I also tried their breakfast sandwich with a turkey sausage, cheese, pesto aioli, served on a brioche bun. Can't wait to come here the next time I'm Vegas bound!

Early Riser, Prosciutto Grilled Cheese Sandwich
    Felicia A.

Ambiance was good, 8/10 we went early, around 8am so it wasn't very busy yet. They have a lot of seating. Came here to try the Lucky Charms Matcha but sad to say I was very disappointed. Didn't taste like marshmallow at all, but it also wasn't sweet at all. It was cute but I wish I didn't get it. 1/10 Had the Early Riser sandwich which was a 7/10, I liked how cheesy it was. Prosciutto Grilled Cheese was alright as well 8/10. I do wish they gave an actual little bowl of tomato soup at least instead of just in a little dipping cup, it wasn't enough. The bread for the grilled cheese wasn't my favorite as well I think they used a wheat or grain bread. Probably would've been better or white or sourdough

It has that Summerlin bohemian feel to it where it is bright and airy and it has a ton of natural greenery. One of the employees even once told me that It takes 45 minutes to an hour everyday to water all the plants. Which is something. Little Avalon is more on the side of healthy comfort food. You have your acai bowls and other high protein/grain bowls along with smoothies, coffee, etc. so it's a nice, healthy spot for the most part. My go-to is the satori bowl. I love the different textures and flavors, and I love that I can customize it so much. The coffee drinks are actually pretty good too. All of my lattes have been flavorful without being too sweet with a beautiful texture on the foam. My main gripe is their service. The staff is friendly enough but if you're looking for five star service or anything beyond what they are specifically trained to do, you're not going to get it. I had an incident where I came with my partner and we ordered food and drinks to sit outside because we had our big fluffy golden with us keeping us company. We opted to sit outside. When they brought us the food we realized that we didn't have silverware. When we asked the girl if she could get it for us knowing that we were super occupied with our dog she told us we can get it inside and without waiting for an answer, just took off. Also, sometimes service is slow and it takes a while to get my food. And management, if you're reading this, please have a dedicated busser. I've sat in the cafe for a couple of hours at a time with my laptop and when it gets busy nobody is wiping off the table in between seatings. I even had to request a rag to wipe down my own table on my last visit. It's little things like that that really elevate a place to being something special. Otherwise, if you know what you're into, great food, average prices, social service, then this is a good lunch spot. And they're open later in the evening, which I appreciate!

It's one of those bowls that actually makes you feel energized after, not sluggish. What really elevated the experience, though, was the service. Juan took care of us, and he was genuinely one of the nicest and most polite people you could hope to meet. Super welcoming, patient with questions, and you can tell he takes pride in making sure customers have a great experience.
