Since the first time I walked into the office I was amazed and pleased with the positive, and upbeat attitude of everyone working there, especially the three amazing ladies at the front desk, Roxy, Bailey, and Roxanne. My massage therapist, Amanda is an excellent and professional massage therapist as well - and a great conversationalist at that. My recovery has sped up in large part due to her efforts and those of Dr. Nathan Olsen, my chiropractor at Better Life. Overall I have to say that I have never seen such an excellent business of any kind. From the thoughtful, determined, and optimistic treatment plan initiated by Dr. Olsen to the outstanding, competent, and pleasant front desk service, I have to highly recommend Better Life Chiropractic to anyone in Idaho's Treasure Valley/Greater Boise Metro Area. I have worked in the healthcare industry for over 20 years. I am familiar with Dr.'s offices and scheduling. I just have to say that while I had to wait, initially, at my first appointment it did not upset me. When I met with my Dr. he took time and sat down with me and asked me questions and explained everything to me. I knew that I mattered, and I knew that he took the same time with patients before me as well. The office staff has been amazing as well. I have a crazy work schedule and they are not only super friendly but very accommodating. Last but definitely not least, my massage therapists have been great! I was hesitant to see the chiropractor and especially to drive all the way to Meridian, as I live and work in Caldwell, but my experience has been amazing. Unfortunately, over the past few years, Dr. Strickland's patient care has declined from when I started seeing him. This is disappointing because his staff and the other chiropractors at Better Life are fantastic. I have often felt that he doesn't truly listen and is more focused on getting through the appointment rather than providing personalized care. My husband also had a negative experience, feeling that Dr. Strickland prioritizes business over patient well-being, sometimes recommending unnecessary additional costs. Additionally, there have been multiple insurance billing errors over the past couple of years, though I believe these issues have since been resolved. Overall, I appreciate Better Life and the help they have provided, but I believe their business model could be improved. While I would recommend the clinic itself, I would not recommend Dr. Strickland specifically. read more

I have been suffering with a problem in my right foot for 20+ years. The joint is badly damaged and the foot bone has gone over the toe bone on my big toe. Not much can be done for that. But on a recent visit Dr Strickland began treating the joint with the activator and laser. Nothing in the past has helped the inflammation and swelling, but just after one laser treatment the swelling was down significantly. After 3 treatments the range of motion has increased, the pain had significantly decreased and there is no more swelling. I can actually stand on tiptoes again. This was impossible before the treatment. My pain went from an 8-9 to a 1-2. I am now a believer in laser treatment, whereas a few weeks ago I would have never thought it would help. I am grateful to Dr Strickland and the team at Better Life. I am 71 years young, so it's never too late. read more

Better Life Chiropractic has been my new breath of life. I remember the first day I met Dr. Jeremy Wagnon for an evaluation and adjustment. I was in very bad shape and I had a bad time walking straight. I felt like a broken toy and he put me back together. I still see Dr. Jeremy for occasional adjustments. I've been to my share of chiropractors over the years. Some good, some not so good, but Better Life is the best I've been to thus far. I think the biggest draw is the people. The treatments are beneficial and I have been seeing very good improvement from a work injury, but I've never been to a doctor or chiropractor where it's like family. The staff and doctors alike are so friendly, caring and great everyone with a welcoming smile on their face. I actually look forward to going, and that is saying a lot, believe me. I have always had lower back problems and just dealt with the pain and issues that resulted from that, until I met Dr. Strickland. Now 7yrs later I continue to see him on a regular basis and he has been able to help my lower back tremendously! I am now pain free with consistent care from Dr. Strickland. This place truly is the best in chiropractic I have ever experinced. After a car accident I had a lot of problems with my neck. Dr. Strickland helped save me from neck surgery after a series of adjustments and decompressions over a period of some months. The staff is always upbeat, friendly, and efficient.
