J B Reference Letter…read more Our Church recently found it necessary to raze a building located on church property. We searched for someone to handle this project and discovered J B Demolition. We contacted the company, and were pleased to speak directly with J B, the owner. He gave our project his personal attention, and he listened to our needs and our concerns. This property is located in a residential setting in a Historic District, and it was important that the demolition work caused minimal impact to the surrounding neighborhood. The demolition site contained not only a single story residence, but also an in ground concrete swimming pool and two retaining walls. It was a complex and challenging project. JB Demolition was not dissuaded. The company was receptive to our revisions to their standard contract that were necessary to address our unique situation. J B Demolition is a full service Company. They handled all environmental inspections, coordinations with Utilities, and obtained necessary permits from the City. During the performance of the work, JB was in constant communication with the church, which allowed us to address issues as they arose before they became problems. The company was always available to meet with us, on site, when requested. After the structures were removed, J B Demolition went the extra effort to bring in fill dirt, grade the lot, install erosion control netting and seed the lot. These erosion control measures were immediately tested when we experienced torrential rains the day after they were installed, These measures were effective, as there was no off site erosion observed.
