The cafe is located at the back of the IGA complex with a generous outdoor patio area away from the main road. There is a concerted effort by the cafe to green up their area with plants (recently rejuvenated with spring on the way) and it really helps to break up the usual car park feel so many cafes can have in shopping centres. For families with young kids there is a great little section set up with plenty of toys to keep your little ones occupied. Having been here a few times I feel like I can confidently say that the food that we've had has been really good and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it as a great place for breakfast or lunch. There is a slightly Spanish bent to many things but also plenty for those just wanting a snack or something straight forward. I do find the coffee a little inconsistent depending on who is making it, not that it has bad flavor but more that the milk is over heated, perhaps that is just my personal preference though. The service is friendly and prompt regardless of weekday or weekend visits which is important. I just wish they were open on Sunday's and public holidays as we'd probably frequent them more than we do now. All in all this addition to the local cafe scene is a vey welcome one for us in Everton Hills and somewhere I would recommend if you're in the area.

Once you enter the restaurant through this secret door you are transported into a refined dining space, outdoor courtyard and bar that has old world charm and designer Euro chic with a warm inviting and intriguing feel. I just know that I want to taste the whole menu! The menu consists of delicate sharing platters for the table to share from starters, mains & deserts. I won't comment on how amazing each of the dishes were, I just recommend ordering an assortment matched with their plentiful & delicious wine list to enjoy with some great company. The formula is no different to the Campos you might experience on Wandoo Street, but I dare say the menu is more focused on quick take-away items or easy to prepare in a considerably smaller kitchen at this store. For that reason, there's a display cabinet of cakes, salads and sandwiches but none of the extravagant menu items you may be familiar with from other Campos outlets. The times I've visited the coffee and food have been as good as other Campos outlets, and it's always been super busy. This can make it a tad noisy in such a small space. On that, when it is super busy, seating is at a premium. Don't get your hopes up for a spot but always check upstairs where theres a little more seating available. A fine addition to Brisbane's newest retail precinct.

You can get your surf and turf, and your steak and garden salad for around $15. The meals really are the highlight of the Red Lion. Outside of that, they've got your standard pub features. There's a long row of pokies, a tiny video arcade room complete with pinball machine, a couple of pool tables and a big long bar you can come in and sit yourself down at to wile away the afternoon chatting with the bar tender. First the choice of ciders and beer on tap is great. Second the staff are lovely and helpful. Third, well the food, it's amazing, delicious, great value, and so much better than you would expect! The chef is brilliant! I had the slow cooked beef ribs with my choice of 2 sides; kipfler potato sand tomato with buffalo cheese warm salad. The beef was so soft and falling off the bones!!!
