The Beverly Center has nice high-end stores but is very boring inside. No one was really there and the stores were empty too. I went tibEden Sky and that had a lot of amazing items for a reasonable price. Great selection of clothing items and the service in each store was pleasant.

The Beverly Center is one of those malls that's actually enjoyable to spend time in. It's clean, well maintained, and has a relaxed, modern vibe that makes it easy to walk around and unwind. We especially like the eighth floor, where they often host really great experiences and exhibits. We recently went there to see the Titanic experience, and it was very well done. There always seems to be something interesting happening here, which makes it more than just a shopping mall. It's a great place to hang out, meet friends, or plan a casual date night. Definitely one of the nicer malls to spend time at in the area.

I used to like this indoor mall but I feel like it's declining faster than the speed of light. There's very limited store options which don't look busy at all. Same goes with restaurants. I remember that we even had a Yelp event here where we explored the three different restaurants in the ground floor which have closed down. Things that I liked here are the cleanliness and the elevators but these are not enough reasons for me to visit. I'm really worried about the fate of this mall. Knock on wood that it doesn't completely shit down.

I had the pleasure again of coming to the Beverly Center Mall again. It was pretty dead this time on a Wednesday. I guess during the week not many people shop here. I had lunch with a business client here. They have food courts with all the good places here. So many places to shop. Zales, Starbucks, Hot dog Pretzels, you name it. Parking is also plentiful on the weekends.

A clean, easy to navigate mall, with the cutest elevators. Like most malls, you can feel the decline. It was a weekend, and there weren't many people shopping. Of course it was right after the holidays so it may make sense. You have to pay for parking. Various stores from Macy's to luxury brands.

The Beverly Center is one of older and well-known upscale malls in Los Angeles. Some of featured stores include Louis Vuitton, Burberry, Prada, Gucci, Versace, Bloomingdale's, Macy's, etc. [Parking]: 0 hr - 1 hr = $1.00, 1 hr - 2 hr = $2.00, 2 hr - 3 hr = $3.00, 3 hr - 4 hr = $4.00, and each additional hour thereafter is $2.00 more with daily maximum = $18.00. Please note that retail shops are located on 6th and 7th floor and 1st through 5th floor are parking lots. [Other notable comments]: This shopping center mostly focuses on clothing shops with Apple Store on the 7th floor. Not too many eatery selection and the elevator button is touch screen only. [Conclusion]: I would rather visit Westfield Century City, The Grove, or The Americana at Brand for a real upscale shopping experience. At least visitors can go across the street for off-price stores like Saks OFF 5TH, T.J. Maxx, Ross, Marshalls, and Nordstrom Rack.

My wife was still in search of just the right dress to wear to our eldest son's wedding this coming Sunday, 11/17/2024. So after scouring numerous neighborhoods around Los Angeles, I accompanied her out to The Beverly Center, a once popular mall for the entire family back in the 1990s-early 2000s, especially during the Christmas season. But like so many malls today, not quite the destination spot of yesteryear. Oh don't get me wrong, a walk through this mall is like walking through an indoor version of Rodeo Drive! Most any high end brand can also be found here. And on a very uncrowded weekday visit, one might even find a better shopping destination for those designer brands you desire. We were only there for Bloomingdale's and Macy's. But that search for the desired dress didn't quite pan out here. Although it was a nice trip down memory lane stepping foot back inside this iconic mall again. And we took the opportunity to finally enjoy a lunch here at Yardbird, a longtime bookmarked southern cuisine destination.

Jenni and Haley did a fantastic job for Cool Down @ Bev at the Bevelry Center Court. Photogenic space with delicious treats for $10 with a chance to win up to $500 dollars of prizes from various vendors in the Center. Taking place every Saturday from July 13 to August 10, Cool Down features tasty bites and sips from various vendors each weekend. With DJ Asha mixing beats, you can enjoy the lawn games and summer photo moments, watching influencers in the wild. On July 13, we had a tasting from Tanghulu by Tangtastic7 and fruit & Egg Salad Sando by Sando Itchi! My favorite hands down was the Egg Salad Sando. Cocktails were served by Don Londres, a choice of Spicy Margarita, Paloma, or Straight shot of Tequila. What a way to spend the weekend in Beverly Hills. Get tickets before they sell out through Eventbrite :)

One of the smaller malls. Good for a quick visit, not so much for a big shopping spree. I mainly come here for Macy's, Uniqlo, Zara & H&M. The rest are either high end / unfamiliar stores. Not a lot of restaurants or bathrooms available. Ample parking - $1 an hour for first 4 hours.

How much is parking and how late is it Open?

Parking is very reasonable. I've paid $2 for one visit and $4 or 5 for the second longer visit. It's open when the Center opens, but could be open later to accommodate the restaurant hours

    Is the mall pet friendly?

    Yes, Beverly Center allows pets!

Does this place have kids playgrounds, either indoor or outdoor?

It used to. But they tore it down to build this mall. Too bad they didn't re-build on the roof. It would have made this over-sized, over-dull building worth coming to. Somebody missed the boat on that one. It would have been the one element to…

Is there a Chanel Store for Handbags and belts? Not cosmetics or parfums.

    No there isn't.

Hi Octavianus, Thank you for shopping at Beverly Center. Our renovation will be completed by Holiday 2018. Stay tuned! There will be a fresh, new streetscape that combines modern architecture and drought-resistant greenery for a pleasant walking…

How's the parking situation here? Is it free?

Parking is on-site and covered. About $1 per hour.

There was Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore, and Jim Carrey even stayed hours after he needed to until he had spoken, taken pictures, and signed books for every single person who had waited in line for him. However, after the COVID pandemic they've noticeably stopped coming. Still, The Grove is a nice place to visit because it is so polished and touristy. There's the dancing fountain, free trolley, movie theater, shops and restaurants. Meanwhile, The Farmers Market is right next door, so you can easily walk there as well. It's a good place to kill time. Some stores are a bit on the pricey side, though. The trolley is a bit silly since the ride is so short. It takes longer to wait for the trolley than to just walk from one end of the mall to the other. It is a free novelty, though, so if you have nothing better to do, might as well. Recently, there was a parade and festival at LACMA (Los Angeles County Museum of Art) and I noticed several other people like me walking from there to The Grove since it's only around a 20 minute walk up Fairfax Ave. I think people decided to walk since parking at LACMA is $23 no matter what and we didn't want to pay it again. Parking at The Grove isn't cheap either, but it's easy and convenient since it's a huge multi-story parking garage with digital numbers that tell you how many spots are available on each level. My go to restroom is at the top level of Barnes & Noble, but there's also one at Farmers Market. The views of The Grove from the upper levels of Barnes & Noble are nice. There's also an onsite cafe on that level. Meanwhile, this Barnes & Noble is apparently one of the biggest in the US. Around the holidays, they put up one of the tallest Christmas trees in the US. They hang flying reindeer and a sleigh above the dancing fountain. They also put up a Santa house in the middle of the street where you can take pictures with Santa for a fee. One of the changes I didn't like around the dancing fountain, which is one of the few spots with trees and shade, is that they roped it off so that it became outdoor seating for the restaurants whereas before it was open to anyone. Even though I don't live near here anymore, I still end up visiting every now and then because of nearby festivals. At this point it's so familiar to me that as another reviewer had said "It's an LA staple."

Shortly upon arrival, we figured out it's an outdoor shopping mall with an upscale mix of name brand stores, boutique shops, elevated restaurants, food court with quick bites/snack/drink vendors, and fun entertainment. Overall exterior was well cared for in terms of cleanliness and maintenance. It wasn't super busy nor crowded which is great sometimes because congestion of people traffic may make our dining and shopping experience a bit hard to handle. On 08/01/25, I parked in their lot for my 11:30 AM lunch reservation at The Butcher, The Baker, The Cappuccino Maker, followed by shopping at Ron Dorff, both located within Sunset Plaza. I stayed on the premises the entire time and have all the receipts and reservation confirmations to prove it. Despite this, I was wrongfully issued a parking citation. When I approached the parking staff with my documentation and tried to calmly explain the situation, they refused to listen. Instead, they accused me of "leaving the premises" because the order time on my restaurant receipt said 11:49 AM. I explained, clearly, that's simply the time our server took our order, not when I entered the restaurant. Anyone who has ever dined out knows there's often a wait to be seated and served, especially at a busy restaurant. But they ignored logic, dismissed my proof, and essentially called me a liar--despite my offer to have the restaurant and my friend confirm everything. Worse, they offered no solution and told me to just deal with the ticket myself. No apology. No responsibility. Just gaslighting and blame-shifting. This is unacceptable. If you're parking here, beware, they are more interested in trapping customers than helping them. I genuinely feel scammed, and I don't want others to go through the same experience.

Generally, I think of this as a tourist spot, but have had occasions in the past when a screening or event has brought me to this venue. SO MANY dining options, Japanese cultural experiences, a cute K Skin boutique and a convenient place to park, eat, then walk a short distance to the Hollywood Bowl. It may be slightly uphill, but after the concert, the walk back is a breeze. Parking is a very fare price, and most shops & restaurants will validate 2 hours free, which make it even more affordable. We recently checked out their Center Court FIFA watch party area and it was a LOT of fun. I also felt it was safe and a good visual presence of security guards was observed. There are also easy coffee, sandwich, boba and snack kiosks for a quick bite or fun treat. This is also a great location to start the Hollywood walk of fame tour, cement handprints and local museums - in particular The Hollywood Museum, just a 1/2 block away. Of course, there's also all the Oscar allure, but I'll keep that area for the tourists to enjoy. Cheers! "CC"

Ovation Hollywood has had such a glow up since I was younger. They really have made efforts to make…read morethis a great hangout spot for the weekend. They offer some really awesome free/affordable event events for the community, including Friday night movie nights during the summer, drag bingo, and sports watch parties. You can get the most parking validation at either the theater or Dave & Buster's. I'm really impressed with their movie nights so far. One recommendation that I would have is that they do musical sing-alongs in the future where the words appear on screen because I think that would foster a a fun opportunity for audience participation. I will gladly come here to any events they might have in the future. My mom even had a fun time at the movie night last night. I recommend coming early to find parking and get yourself situated if you're coming here for an event.

Though recently, the owner has been more present in these streams and is very passive aggressive and overall very rude to chatters. Their new format of selling unopened Sonny Angels for almost double or even triple the retail price is ridiculous. Most chatters are very openly against the new format, but the owner claims they are doing this because it's what is preferred by customers. She says the increased price is for the "interaction" you get when JapanLA employees show you what you overpaid for (as if they're celebrities). It makes zero sense and is obviously a poor business decision when they could be selling confirmed Sonny Angels for more profit, instead of having people bid for an unopened box where they don't know what they're getting. Additionally, any time you ask about this new format, their entire chat attacks you and the owner threatens to block you from their account. I couldn't believe the way she was acting towards the people buying from her. This review is solely based on how the owner of JapanLA presents herself. Their other employees are super sweet and always very fun to chat with. It's just recently when the owner started being part of their livestreams that being there became very unpleasant. If you want a Sonny Angel or Smiski, buy a box in-store elsewhere or online. Do NOT overpay for one through JapanLA where you're very likely to get one you don't want.
