On the ground floor valet area most evenings I can usually smell smoke or pot smoke and it's pretty bad. Even the elevator had strong smell recently. They really need to crack down on this. Whenever you enter the 2nd floor parking, there's a strong waft of cooking oil coming from downstairs. The parking gate usually does not recognize your car has been validated so you have to manually stick your ticket in. That also needs to be fixed. read more

I am giving Beverly Center three stars. The mall has a strong selection of designer stores, which is great if you are looking for high-end shopping. However, it could do better overall. The main drawback is that there is no central food court or designated space to sit and relax. This makes it harder to take a break while shopping, and the experience can feel a bit tiring if you plan to spend several hours there. The recent renovations have improved the layout and modernized the interior, which is nice to see. The aesthetics are sleek, and the mall feels cleaner and more updated. Still, the lack of a central chill area and the focus mainly on high-end retail make it less versatile than other shopping centers. It is worth visiting for shopping, but it can become boring quickly if you are looking for a more casual, all-in-one experience. I think they can improve on the parking service. The Beverly Center is one of those malls that's actually enjoyable to spend time in. It's clean, well maintained, and has a relaxed, modern vibe that makes it easy to walk around and unwind. We especially like the eighth floor, where they often host really great experiences and exhibits. We recently went there to see the Titanic experience, and it was very well done. There always seems to be something interesting happening here, which makes it more than just a shopping mall. It's a great place to hang out, meet friends, or plan a casual date night. Definitely one of the nicer malls to spend time at in the area. read more

I used to like this indoor mall but I feel like it's declining faster than the speed of light. There's very limited store options which don't look busy at all. Same goes with restaurants. I remember that we even had a Yelp event here where we explored the three different restaurants in the ground floor which have closed down. Things that I liked here are the cleanliness and the elevators but these are not enough reasons for me to visit. I'm really worried about the fate of this mall. [Other notable comments]: This shopping center mostly focuses on clothing shops with Apple Store on the 7th floor. Not too many eatery selection and the elevator button is touch screen only. [Conclusion]: I would rather visit Westfield Century City, The Grove, or The Americana at Brand for a real upscale shopping experience. The customer service here is horrible. The validation system is always down at the gym and the assistance person never does anything to help mitigate the situation depending on who's helping you. The mall was great with ample air conditioning and clean restrooms but the parking lot was absolutely ridiculous. It's $1/hour for the first 4 hours. We arrived at 1pm and went to pay for parking at 3:10pm and paid $3. We were reorganizing the trunk with our shopping bags which took about 15min because our trunk was full to begin with. When we got to the exit, they charged another $1 even though we were still under 3 hours. We call the attendant and they explained we needed to have exit within 10min of paying. But we were still under 3 hours! If we went over 3 hours then we absolutely should pay for another hour of parking but we were still under! Absolutely ridiculous! Makes zero sense! read more

It is very sad to see such horrible customer service and attitude here. No matter where I went H&M, Miniso or Sunglass Hut they all didn't greet, they look depressed and look like they hate their jobs. This big guy at Miniso gave me a dirty look when I walked in and just started at me like I was interrupting his vacation. I have been coming to BC for the last 26 years and it has gotten so depressing over time. Sad to say but this is why this mall is always empty and probably on its way to close down. Managment - please do something and get those store sales and reps out of their misery and let them go. I would say most staff members at Macys are friendly and I like going there. Wow, what a difference a few years can make! I dropped into the mall after not having been there for at least 1.5 years. I was blown away by all the stores that were gone. A lot of very basic mall stores are what remains with some stores that are just so ridiculously overpriced like Traffic. No, I am not buying basic athletic shorts with a little bling for 750.00 + 10% tax! The mall has always had a lot of bougie stores but some are just there for suckers. I was in and out of that mall in under 15 minutes and that includes walking the entire mall! I do not predict it can sustain for more than a few more years with the current offerings and lack of shoppers (I was there on a Sunday afternoon). I only went because I was in the area at the library on La Cienega. Go to The Grove or Americana (my top choice) if you want a great mall experience. read more

This was my first time at the beverly center, and I really enjoyed my experience in this mall. The mall is very high-end with luxurious stores to shop at and a very organized parking structure. My boyfriend and I came here for a pop-up event. They were having called the cool down and it was really fun and very organized. I saw that they hold this pop-up event every summer and we had a really good experience so we would be willing to come back next summer to experience it again. The mall itself is upkept really well and it's very clean inside which can be surprising sometimes for certain areas within LA . I surprisingly did not see a lot of homeless people surrounding the area too, so it's nice to know that they keep the area relatively clean and safe for customers to enjoy. read more

My wife was still in search of just the right dress to wear to our eldest son's wedding this coming Sunday, 11/17/2024. So after scouring numerous neighborhoods around Los Angeles, I accompanied her out to The Beverly Center, a once popular mall for the entire family back in the 1990s-early 2000s, especially during the Christmas season. But like so many malls today, not quite the destination spot of yesteryear. Oh don't get me wrong, a walk through this mall is like walking through an indoor version of Rodeo Drive! Most any high end brand can also be found here. And on a very uncrowded weekday visit, one might even find a better shopping destination for those designer brands you desire. We were only there for Bloomingdale's and Macy's. But that search for the desired dress didn't quite pan out here. Although it was a nice trip down memory lane stepping foot back inside this iconic mall again. And we took the opportunity to finally enjoy a lunch here at Yardbird, a longtime bookmarked southern cuisine destination. read more

Beverly Center is one of my favorite malls in LA. It has a solid mix of stores. Auto theft at Beverly Center between 12pm-3pm at parking 2b Just wanted to warn everyone--our Tahoe was broken into today at the Beverly Center parking structure 2b!! . The doors were locked, but no smashed window and stole several designer bags and about $6,000 that was inside one of them. ( yes I know it was dumb of us leaving those type of cash in the bag it was our first time there ) This happened even though the lot has security and cameras, so please be extra careful if you're parking there. Keep valuables out of sight and double-check your surroundings. We've already try to contacted Beverly Center for security to check the footage it crazy that you expect the Beverly center to have great security but no I was better off parking in the street by the homeless Btw these were the item they rob us from our Tahoe theft stole our item will resell them ! Was here over the weekend, I couldn't believe how empty this mall was on a Sunday afternoon. It looked like a ghost town. In a way that's better for me, since I don't like crowed spaces. Beverly Center has been very popular for years. But honestly it has not been the same. It's pretty boring here and they only have high end selections, which is fine, but that gets old. It needs to be more stores that's affordable. The service is good here though. I feel they have restaurants that are better than the shopping stores. Here it's a hit or miss with good items! It's rare when I do purchase things here, but they are at a good deal. I feel that they should update the stores and a little more economical. However, they have Yardbird here and I love it there if you want some good food after you shop! You have to pay for parking here which is not so much costs, depending how long you stay. They have valet as well if you want. Overall, I'll say to come here if you wanna experience the eateries. Five stars for the holiday crafts and cocktails events at the Beverly Center! The events are a great deal and so fun. Each ticket gets you two cocktails and the craft - I did the wreaths night and the cookie decorating. They also provide charcuterie and some desserts to munch on. The events are super fun with all materials and instruction provided and they provide great packaging for taking home your crafts at the end. I'll definitely attend more events there! read more

This was my first time visiting this mall, and the best way to describe it is... strange. The parking situation is confusing and a bit hard to navigate. From the outside, it looks like a huge mall, but it's actually much smaller compared to others. About 75% of what you see is just parking, with 5 out of 8 stories dedicated to it. If you enter from the street level, you'll have to take 5 escalators to reach the top, it's an odd setup. Once you're inside, the top floors feel empty, or filled with high-end stores that don't seem to attract many shoppers, not even the wealthy. The more popular stores are those we regular folks tend to visit, like Bath & Body Works and Miniso, which I actually enjoyed. I did notice, though, that prices here tend to be higher. For example, I saw boba being sold for 4 dollars more than I'd pay elsewhere. Overall, the mall is nice, but it felt weird to have to pay just to say hi to Santa. The whole vibe just didn't click with me, so I probably won't be coming back. read more

Coming back here and I realize just how different the experience now. With parking already being charged in the first hour (despite it being only $1 for first two hours), one would be interested to try to find out some interesting stores to look through. However when we walked through here, nothing really appealed to us and kind of just strolled through. On top of that, we were considering on getting food and one thing I appreciate was that there was a guy walking around and he saw we were looking at the directory and he gave us good info and advice on trying out some spots. the sandwich stop he recommended that was big enough for two looked okay, but some paninis being $20 was pushing it for us so we ended up leaving the mall after 15 minutes. Ontop of that, when we tried to leave the parking structure, we were getting issues with our cards going through and had to swipe or tap multiple times to head out. Maybe good for first time visiting, but I don't know about recurring visits since there's nothing new to expect!!! read more

Beverly Center is an indoor mall. It has been revamped in the last couple years to make it more upscale, probably to compete with the other popular malls in the area. This mall is bookended with a Bloomingdales and Macys. There is a weird mix of low to middle range stores on one end to very high end luxury stores on the other. The dining options in this mall are fewer than at the other malls. While I'm a fan of upscale dining, I don't think it works for this mall. During the remodel they removed the food court which I think was a huge mistake. The midrange downstairs restaurants, many of which had very long residences here, were replaced with fancy restaurants which were more date like than family friendly. Many of them did not survive the pandemic and I don't believe they would have survived anyways despite the fact that they were beautiful and had good food. Beverly Center currently has Tocaya and, although I have not tried this location, I do know the brand and I think this type of dining works better here. They also have Eggslut which is a very popular brand but it is only open in the morning and afternoons. Yardbird is more upscale but I think it works here because it is family friendly comfort food and also offers brunch. On the level with the stores you will find Wetzel's Pretzel's which is always a great choice for snacking. I also noticed Starbuck's and a Sprinkle's ATM in the mall. This mall does not have a movie theater which, I think, has come to be expected as part of the mall experience. So, this is a bummer. One feature that I do like about this mall is the myriad of spaces they have to sit and lounge around. My favorite are the red spinning chairs by the escalators where you can look down and people watch. There's a lot more to say but these are the highlights of my thoughts on this mall. Overall, I don't really care for Beverly Center. I am saddened by this because I used to really like this mall. I yearn for the old Beverly Center which was more family friendly and down to earth and different than the other malls in the best possible way! read more

Yeah three star average is about it. This place is weird because it caters to rich people who I assume wouldn't shop at the mall for fear of having to rub shoulders with us plebs. It's interesting to window shop and people watch but I do wonder who the target market here is specifically. Not a huge store selection despite eight stories. As I write this in 2024 the stereotype of LA fashion being borderline homeless holds true for half these places at least, with patched-together cheap-looking logos and sweats that are meant to not fit correctly. Guess the real "population" of LA is rubbing off on everyone. It's a good case study in insanity as is this whole city. Parking is cheap kinda I guess so I'll add a star for that. Maybe it's to pay for the mall soundtrack which even extends to the garage. I will stick to my Beverly Connection across the street. Ain't too proud to haul TJ Maxx bags. read more

I came here to the "cool down" event that is happening now through the 10th of this month. Tickets are inexpensive and you get to snack on ice cream, cocktails, popcorn and little appetizers. The good: Nice mall with a good mix of stores. Also love that they put on regular affordable events throughout the year. My friends and I attended their Cool Down summer event and it was SUPER cute. The bad: I subtracted two stars from their rating because you have to pay for parking. It is absolutely nonsensical to have to pay for mall parking, especially considering the amount of money that's flowing through the Bev Center. They have enough money to cover the parking for patrons. And the fact there is nowhere in the mall for possible validation is absurd. read more

This was such an upscale mall. It's like 10x more upscale than my still favorite mall in Santa Anita Mall, Arcadia, CA. They offer super upscale brands such as Louis Vuitton, Italy here. Wowzers. I can't afford that. My cut off is Kate Spade. The only drawback visiting this mall is the parking structure. Since it's such a gigantic, upscale mall, you would need to take a picture of where you park so you don't get lost. Not sure if I'll be back again though. Lol.
