Service from Erin was surprisingly exceptional. She's a light for sure and awesome vibes. Made my experience at this Bevmo location for the first time a pleasant experience. It's been 9years since I've visited Bevmo. Noticed more food items than before. Plenty of snacks & drink non alcoholic. Mireya was kind & sweet. These two really put a couple of cherries on top of our Friday after work experience . Now looking forward to trying these new Hennessey remixed drinks. I got iced tea & Rita at the suggestion of Erin they were better tasting than the berry (taste like medicine) my daughter got all 3 & bought me a bottle of the peach moonshine. I went in asking for a rum for girls night out. I had Malibu black in my hand for mixing but I asked for a higher quality rum with a smooth taste for the ladies that want it neat. I said we like the typical girly flavors. The guys said my best bet was the Diplomatico Reserva Exclusiva Rum. It was pricey but I said ok awesome. This rum is Smokey and literally tastes like we just smoked a cigar. Know your rums better or say YOU DONT KNOW! We had to stop again to get more rum from somewhere else and you lost a loyal customer! This is a mans night out rum not a fruity coconuty rum!!! read more

Absolutely amazing service. Bianca was wonderful. They had a very nice clean floor display when I walked in. I saw what I wanted. It was the Happy Dad grape flavor that just came out almost impossible to find but this place has it. You must get it before they run out, it's brand new and it's delicious. This place has everything and they're open early 9 o'clock in the morning so stock up for the weekend even though it's only Wednesday get ready! This place has everything at great prices and very good customer service, friendly and amazing amazing attitude. It's hit and miss wit regards to sales here because of other competitors like Rite Aid, CVS & Smart and Final but they have a lot of good that other places don't offer either so do your homework prior to stopping by. Friendly staffs. Clean establishment. Lots of unused parking when you turn in and head to the right side of the building. Friday free samples of beer and wine 4-7pm. Nice small cheese and cold snack section. Ohhhh and don't forget to take advantage of the selection of buy one get other for 5 cents!!!! Stock up and try something new!!!!! read more

This certainly not the largest BevMo I have visited over the years, but it is a very nice one and couple with its friendly staff it should be a winner for the years to come. I stopped not only to check it our, but also to pick up a couple of bottles of red wine given they were offering their 5 cent sale. I came across a number of quality red wins but I settled I one I have never tried before: the Unruly Red Wine in the form of a Red Zinfandel. I usually go for a nice Malbec, but changing it up a bit for time to time is a good thing. The staff was very friendly and offered me more help than I needed but that is a good thing of course. Every was very friendly and the store was very well organized. They certainly took advantage of the smaller space and maximized every inch. They offered a quality collection of fine red and white wines, domestic, imported, and micro brewed beers, and definitely a wide selection of the hard spirits. Oh yes! This location is amazing for sake, or it was. The last couple of time I have been in to me it looks like there section has gotten small the last couple of times. I do like there beer selection and wine selection a lot to choose between. I love to get the Japanese aged whiskey, that's my go to drink. The staff are nice and kind willing to help if you need anything. I Ike that they are doing social distancing for the pandemic which is nice, and they are inforcing masks for the customers to wear. read more

Disrespectful manager that I've never seen prior to our encounter today, short lady with dark hair. I recently asked about price matching on my previous visit as I have realized many of my regular items on rotation are $10-20 more per bottle with Bevmo versus Ralphs. Employees said take a picture and they'll match in the future. I attempted to ask for a price match and received piss poor service and rude remarks. This manager said these lines to me "what are you trying to do", "why didn't you buy from them", "we can't match it", "it's below our cost, but do this price (still $8 more than Ralphs). The first few lines out of her mouth threw me off. I told her know thanks and I'll take something else. I turned around picked it and that instant she had walked away from me and the register. She should of pulled my member # and purchase history to see my high customer value. Clase Azul, XO cognacs, Japanese whiskeys, etc... I advise shopping Costco and Ralphs for liquor and champagne and Valley Farms Market for beer and wine. Bevmo this lady is a liability to your reputation. From the looks of recent negative reviews other local residents have been disrespected. I think location convenience is the quality you have. read more

This is a very basic, small Shop that has minimal cooler space to keep beer cold. Many of the IPA's that need to remain cold and are not being kept cold. The liquor selection is minimal. The pricing here is also on the high side. It was a tossup between coming here and going to Ralphs. Ralphs has more cold storage for their beer and their pricing is more reasonable. I did find two cool beers that I really enjoyed that Ralphs most likely did not carry. Next time i'll check out Ralphs across the street. read more

The staff at this Bev Mo is so rude whenever we ask to look closer at a bottle of wine in the "wine vault". We are well dressed, polite, early 40's adults and they treat us like we are 21 years old and looking to steal a 45$ bottle of wine. I like to use the wine app on my phone and take pictures of the bottles to see the all the ratings and notes on the bottle. It doesn't work through the glass. They will not leave the door open so I can take pics. And are extremely off putting with their attitude regarding this. My husband went today and came back shaking his head at the manager who kept questioning him on the 80$ bottle of wine he wanted to purchase. Saying "are you sure you want this one because I have to open it" (referring to the fact it was wrapped in paper). Bev Mo corporate might want to reevaluate their criteria for hiring and training. read more

This is like heaven for me , me & my dad have a passion about liquor , we used to have a huge bar at home filled with finest & most expensive bottles of scotch and vodka but sadly we left a lot behind , walking in this place and checking those expensive bottles reminds me of good old times , They have the best variety of everything they have the Macallan , Johnny walker finest the blue label , 26 Years Glenfiddich , they do have some special edition Chivas Rigal ! , They have the best of Remy Martin brandy ! , they do have the finest spirits that you wouldn't find anywhere else ! $5K , $6K spirits , I actually started collecting again , It will take time but Bevmo is there , they have two huge shelves filled with beer , whatever you want they carry it , I really enjoyed my visit , spent a perfect hour walking around , people are nice and helpful they kept checking on me and answered my questions , they even carry the famous Lebanese beer Almaza ! I love this Bevmo!! Omg I love this place obviously because this is where I buy my drinks but also because of the nice and clean atmosphere of this particular location! Not only does it have all those hard to find beers , wines and spirits but the staff is incredible. The bevmologists Marc, Roseanna and Eric are all great humored and quite knowledgeable! I love that they offer tastings weekly also I have been lucky enough to be able to try it before purchasing. I enjoy coming into this store and learning all these cool things and I always leave with a smile on my face and never break the bank doing it. :) definitely visit this bevmo! Significantly over priced with significantly less inventory compared to other beverage outlets. Tried to get a price match with total wine (for a $200 bottle of champagne) and at first the manager told me he can do it if they didn't sell it at a loss. When he came back he said he wouldn't be making very much money and would only sell at retail. I would rather drive the extra 30 minutes to the Mission Valley Total Wine than deal with this rude rip off BevMo location. Side note: I shared this experience with my neighbor and he told me somebody at this store told him he doesn't have to shop there if he doesn't want to after he complained of the significantly higher prices. In the few months since this store has opened, they have sharpened their selection and now carry the things I used to have to go to the Santee store to get (Big Eye in cans, Dragon's Breath cider). My friends are I were experimenting Monday night and came across a really tasty lemon drop mix. This resulted in us making a delicious blackberry lemon and gin tonic. So happy this store is closer to me for shopping vs Grossmont. So far everyone is plenty helpful. I even bought some wine and forgot it in my car. " Yes ! I Have Been Waiting For This BevMo Forever " I was so excited to see that a BevMo store had finally come to the Rancho San Diego Area in El Cajon. Years ago it was my understanding that BevMo was looking for a place to open a new store in the Rancho San Diego Area and finally they have. The store is on the corner of Jamacha Rd. and Willow Glen Dr. in El Cajon. The New BevMo is located in a very small shopping center where the Nicky Rottens Restaurant is located. There is plenty of free accessible parking, and the new BevMo is a nicely decorated store with local community pictures, and beautiful graphics of bottles on the walls. This BevMo is smaller than most BevMo's in the San Diego area, but they still have a large variety of beverages from Mixers, Sodas, Beers, Wines to Hard Liquors. They also have a wide variety of gift bags, cards, snacks, beef jerky, cheeses, olives, hummus, crackers, chocolates, salsa, and cigars. Every Friday BevMo will be having Beer and Wine tastings for their customers to try different products. Marc the New Manager and David the Assistant Manager, were very nice as they walked around the store answering all of my questions about different wine types and companies. Anais at the check out register, had a very pleasant attitude as she checked me out with my products. This new BevMo also has many wines in each category marked with their special 5 Cent wine sale. You buy one bottle of wine at it's regular price, and you can buy another bottle of the same wine for 5 Cents. It's a great Deal ! This BevMo store is long over do, and makes it a lot easier for all east county residents to have access to a wide variety of delicious beverages. read more

Incredibly rude costumer service. I just went in and couldn't believe that I wasn't allowed to use a BevMo gift card because another person I was with was holding it. Absolutely ridiculous. I can't believe they wouldn't allow a costumer to use a gift card because the person ID'd was not physically holding it. I wish I would've gotten the name of the guy who I dealt with. I think he might've been the manager and if that's the case he needs to be demoted or taught what true customer service means. read more

Ok... I love Bevmo for wine and spirits, but man have they been letting me down with their beer. I enjoy quality IPA's, and anyone who knows IPA's knows that they should be refrigerated and enjoyed within 3 months of packaging. I have on multiple occasions found IPA's at this Bevmo that were 6 months old or even older. These are good, expensive beers... Not coors light. When I've called them on their old beers, they seem slightly incredulous, or just not to care. Get it together, Bevmo. read more

This is hands down the best BevMo in San Diego. I'm so glad it's so close to my house. The employees are extremely down to earth and super helpful whether you are looking for something new to try or want to find something you heard about or need. The two employees that we can always count on are Kalen (sorry if I spelled it wrong) and Eric. Don't forget to bring your ad if you get it in the mail for the $10 off $50 to stock up that home bar! Ordered online for a 4-5pm delivery. Time came and went, but figured they were busy due to Cinco de Mayo. At around 6:30pm, one of the employees knocked on my door with my order, apologizing that the person who was supposed to be sent to deliver my order never came, so they decided to bring it to me anyways. Went above and beyond just so I could enjoy Cinco de Mayo during the lockdown! Will definitely be shopping from this store again, both online and in-person! read more
