I went to tan yesterday at beyond bronze off Thompson Bridge Rd in Gainesville. I have a VIP membership with BB and am very well known as a regular to most of the employees. I spend LOTS of money at BB. I have had a membership here for years. The girl who helped me was rude and obviously didn't enjoy her job. I was simply talking to her about my membership package, and she kept saying " it is what it is" and I mentioned to her that she probably shouldn't tell the customer that and she said "it is what it is " again and so I cancelled my membership because of her hateful attitude! I spend $89 a month for unlimited everything and I deserve to be treated better than how I was treated. I will gladly take my membership down the road to another tanning salon where I am valued and not treated poorly by some kid who just needs to pay her car insurance!!! -Stacie Ralston read more

I have not tanned in over 10 years and this was a great experience. First, Ariel (the young lady that assisted me) was the sweetest. She can talk your ear off but I found her to be very engaging. She picked the perfect color for my sunless tanning. I questioned her about it but she was right. It really turned out beautiful. In all, the salon was nice and clean and the prices were very reasonable. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends and I will be back. read more

I guess it's my fault for not realizing the time but I literally rolled in at 3:59 pm and no accommodation whatsoever for me. Just we are "closed" - I spend a lot of money here you could have let me pop in for ten mins. I had a big event and really needed a spray tan. Zero flexibility is frustrating - what ever happened to going above and "beyond" literally. No issues with the location or equipment just lack of flexibility. read more

Every other time I have been here I've really never had any problems until today. I felt completely embarrassed and down right scolded like a child for attempting to use my 3rd spray tan that I purchased in October. I bought 3 spray tans on 10/30 was told I didn't have any available, they couldn't find where I used he third and assumed it expired. I was told it expires in 90 days, I mean it's not that hard to know 1/18 isn't 90 days from 10/30. I asked the girl to call a manager so she did, she told me the 90 expectation information was on the pamphlet on the counter, which is was not. The manager refused to okay her to add a spray tan to my account and that I would need to come back once she came into work because she was "off the clock". Hmm, I find that strange since you are on the phone with her. I was berated for asking what the terms were, 60 days, 90 days, was never given the real facts. I asked for the corporate number and was again refused. I was told I could buy a spray tan if I wanted to tan, or come back later. I called the other location who put a free spray tan instantly when I told her what happened. Don't come here if you want to be treated like crap! That's probably the reason this place is always dead! read more

FYI I'm posting from my husband's account : I was in the need of a quick fix for a tan after being invited to a wedding which would probably be more than a high school reunion then a wedding. I have had no previous experience with a personal spray tan, only booths, but I can tell you from the moment that I walked into the Gainesville location I was treated as though I was VIP for the day! Not only did Linane answer all my questions, but she made a very personal experience easy and I was at ease the entire time, in my birthday suit. After the experience, she told me to call her at any point if I had any questions and I did... The next hour I got my hair done and when she explained that not a drop of water could get on my body...Murphy's law began! I had to go get my hair done. when you get your hair done it's kind of hard to control where water goes when you're being shampooed. A drop of water ran down my chest and immediately I freaked out thinking I'd ruin the tan. I called Linane immediately and she gave me several solutions and she did not make me feel like I was bothering her and she actually told me "I just want you to look your best tonight! That was so thoughtful of her to even answer my phone call and make me feel like I was important and that my beauty for the night would not be compromised. I will not only recommend this tanning salon to others but I would travel an hour just to be a patron of this wonderful boutique. Thank you for the experience! read more

When a friend canceled my spray tan on me last minute I went into a panic. I went to BB and it was close to closing. I was going to do their spray tan booth and it was unfortunately out of order. Linnae an employee of BB was very apologetic and offered me a custom spray tan service even though normally you have to have an appointment. She was so nice and I received the best customer service from her. My tan ended up looking amazing, one of the best I have ever received. read more

Went today paid 28.00 bronzing bed plus jwoww lotion and unlike other places I go I have no results what so ever my husband was very upset normally I only have to go 2 times and I am very dark so as far as myself it's not for me too pricey for bad results... I will stick to my regular place which only cost me 12 bucks with lotion and I see result the same night.....what a joke!!!! read more

I went to the Gainesville location. This was my first experience with a spray tan and I was really nervous. My tan turned out amazing. The staff is awesome. Kimberly who works at the front desk is one of the nicest people I've ever met. She was so helpful with getting me scheduled when I needed a last minute tan. She also knew I was nervous about the tan and called to follow up with me the next day. She answered all the questions I had prior to and after my appointment and made me feel very comfortable about scheduling my first spray tan. I had heard great things about Beyond Bronze and now I know why! I'll definitely be back! read more
