The food was easy: We ordered catered BBQ with pulled pork, BBQ brisket, beans, cole slaw and cornbread. We knew we wanted a bartender too. One who was professional but also outgoing. Our family are not the quiet, formal or reserved sort of folks. We contacted a couple mobile bartending services but decided on Sarah's Mobile Bartending because from the start it was obvious she knew her business, took pride in her work and had the right sort of personality for our party: Professional but also outgoing and people oriented. We told her there would be about 50 people - Mainly adults and a handful of grandkids all under the age of 12. We planned on beer and cocktails but wanted to have maybe one or two special cocktails and something just for the kids. Sarah really came through for us! She suggested a Belmont Jewel - Bourbon with pomegranate lemonade and Amaretto Sours. The Amaretto Sours turned out to be a real hit with our parents and their group of friends who they'd known since college. For the kids Sarah made strawberry and peach slushies. The anniversary party was a hit! Everyone had a great time - Sarah went out of her way to make sure everything was perfect. She arrived early to set up the bar - which looked great, so when our guests began arriving everything was ready to get the party started. My mom really liked the little lighted sign that had the featured drinks on it. It's little extras like that and Sarah asking about the menu so she could suggest drinks that would go well with the BBQ.
