We had to figure out airport-to-hotel transportation on our own since she was arriving at a different time from her teammates. In researching Tampa car services, I called 1st Class first since they are the only one with numerous reviews that are all 5-star. The owner, Victor, immediately put my mind at ease with the professionalism and kindness in our conversation. He took on the pick up himself even though he had an early start the next morning and my daughter's flight was delayed numerous times, arriving later than expected in the evening. Victor even walked in to great her at the airport, help her with luggage, texted us updates, and walked her into the hotel to make sure she was with her team. For me, this is just a totally unexpected level of service and care. Oh, and to top it off, he would not let me tip him additionally after the drop-off. Then, after being late to the event because of the charter bus breaking down.. the bus driver/charter bus quite literally never showed back up to retrieve us at the end of the event. Wouldn't answer the phone, the office was closed, we stood around for over an hour because the venue couldn't keep us inside or we'd be charged for it's use. We were left stranded an hour away from home in the middle of a parking lot. We had to have personal vehicles/Ubers/friends drive in from out of town to come get us and we set up a carpool system to get home after calling other charters in an attempt to find a solution. What a! absolute mess. Thank god we didn't have any children with us and it wasn't a school event. Imagine if this was a prom or homecoming? Very poorly managed, unprofessional company. We loaded our tailgate items and 11 people, we had a total of 20 people in our group and were headed to pick up the others! Immediately we all are roasting, we're like ok give the air a second. Sitting knee to knee with 11 people (not the 20 we were promised would fit), sweating like crazy we say "hey is the air on". The driver stops the bus opens the hood, it's smoking and tells us the air compressor broke. The driver also told us they don't have all the proper pieces for the emergency exits because they're "too expensive to replace". They told us a replacement would be coming to pick us up, except 2 SUVs pulled up, not enough to fit our now 14 people with belongings. We were then told a limo is also coming, which would drop us all off and the broken bus (once fixed) would come to pick us up at the end of the night. We were told all this nonsense would take 10 minutes, 40 minutes later the cars are here and ready...so we thought. Devin informed us "they didn't know we wanted the bus to stay the whole time". Which is odd because the bus was paid for hourly for the duration of picking us up, staying to tailgate, staying for the concert AND bringing us home. At this point all of us were very confused because it was clearly stated when the booking was made we would be tailgating and then going into the concert. Luxury Transport Tampa is now refusing to provide us a refund, even though we were unable to use their services which were fully discussed and paid for prior to the day of the reservation. The certainly lived up to the hype. I rented a Chrysler 300 stretch limousine to take a group of four of us to dinner for my husband's 60th birthday. Our driver Ahmed (Z) was polite and wished my husband a happy birthday. He had all of the details and locations to pick up our friends and to take us to dinner.
