They also teach Traditional Chinese (Taiwan Mandarin) classes every Saturday morning throughout the school year. Registration begins in June for the upcoming year. Call to inquire about tuition. The classes are geared towards younger children to get them started early. Pronunciation (tones), reading, writing, and speaking are the main foci. Students are placed based on ability not age. There is an adult class, but you learn the same basics of speech and literacy. The unique thing about this school is that the majority of the students are not Asian, but they all speak Mandarin!

You can definitely see the altar at any seat in the building, even upstairs on the balcony. The only difficulty is if you're not facing the main altar, as the priest often will face out one way. The church is the most beautiful during Christmas. It's always well decorated and filled with poinsettias and Garland, streamers and lights everywhere. The other downside of this church is that it's so massively huge, but it does not feel warm and welcoming. I will often go to this church for Easter and Christmas, because if it's close proximity to my house. For regular Sunday visits I will often go to other smaller churches, that feel more comfortable and cozy. Still every time I'm inside of this church in a few, I'm always struck and in all of the interior design and structure of this Shrine.

That's not my thing, since it's more about the homily and the overall message. This is my mother's favorite church and she goes here every week on Sundays. She also participates in their activities throughout the week and months. It's very close with a priest and many of the congregation members. The only downside of this location is that it's in the best part of the tree. I'm not fond of her driving alone to mass, but at least it's during the day. I will sometimes accompany her, safety in numbers. The interior is decent, the usual Stainglass and high columns, that are found in Catholic churches and the like. I would not come here if it weren't for my mother, mostly because I don't prefer the location, the interior is just so-so and the Priest isn't okay, but doesn't resonate with me.
