It's a small location on Ludlow that's easy walking distance from the Esquire. After our movie, we stopped in to eat and discuss. Service was a little lackluster initially. Our server was nice when she arrived, though. The food was fine but nothing special. I found the Alfredo to be particularly bland.

A lovely Italian Bistro; charming, romantic and elegant vibe, just the right touch of sophistication. Beautiful decor. Italian music playing very softly. Family run, homemade pasta! Open kitchen front and center and the sizzle of olive oil and scent of garlic really stimulate the senses and get your appetite honed. Then comes the wonderful food to delight the tastebuds. It's truly a bistro; the menu is small, but the recipes and methods are perfect, and the food comes quickly. It is a joy to watch the chef in action with multiple burners in operation. The prices are very reasonable especially considering the included soup or salad, and the entree portions are not skimpy! We both got Italian Wedding soup and they give you a generous bowlful. It was full of tender little meatballs and very comforting and tasty. My husband had the chicken fettuccine alfredo...so flavorful and a perfect sauce, not too heavy, and loved the chopped green onion mixed in. Yes I had a couple forkfuls. I had the delectable chicken salad, some of the best ever; the inclusion of grapes really elevates the flavor. Pro tip: get this on a hero roll (a/k/a hoagie bun). This was toasted and I really liked the lettuce and tomato on the side so I could build it myself. Desserts! SAVE ROOM or take one home. Chocolate cream pie was a mile high, delicate chocolate crumbs atop an amazingly creamy whip, just sweet enough. I took a slice of Limoncello Torte home and we also got an order of Penne Bosciola to go to share tomorrow. The pasta is penne rigate and also homemade. There's a parking lot behind the buildings on the opposite side of the street so prepare to walk a bit as the likelihood of finding a spot on the street is slim to none. But I'd walk a mile (or drive 100) to eat here. Delicioso!

Still thinking about their delicious chicken scallopini dish. It was amazing. Great, quaint restaurant in Ludlow, close to UC's campus. Surrounding neighborhood is beautiful and interesting, too.

I had lunch here the other day. It was great!! I will give a slight warning, if you do not love garlic, do not order the artichoke dip. If you do, it's amazing! I had that and the tomato basil soup. Both were fantastic. The service could not have been any better! Can't wait to go bank for dinner! I am usually a big food photo person, but I only grabbed this one photo half way through my dessert. The tiramisu was really good!

I used Yelp to find an Italian restaurant that I hadn't been to before, and I certainly agree with the numerous 5-star reviews. We chose to sit in the booth at the front, but there are two dining rooms, as well as high tops that look into the open kitchen, where the magic happens. We both started with a nice Caesar salad, although garlic croutons would have been a welcome replacement for the plain dried bread cubes. They were nicely crunchy, though. A plate of chewy Italian bread with butter (nicely soft) accompanied the meal. My date had fettuccine Alfredo with chicken, with a cream-heavy sauce. I had the chicken scaloppini, which was nicely poached in a mushroom white wine sauce, served over fettuccine (homemade). We both took some home, so she could have crème brûlée, and I had limoncello torte. Both of us were happy with our choices from the well-stocked dessert cooler.

Food was incredible. Had the Shrimp Fettuccini but started with the Italian Wedding Soup. I love Italian wedding soup and this was one of the best ones I've ever had. The service was extremely attentive and personable. The restaurant was quiet and a good temperature. Amazing experience!

We had a great meal at Biagio's Bistro last night. The portions were very large and the food was served hot. It was a very nice atmosphere for a Saturday night. We will return.

My husband and I went to dinner for our 10 year anniversary after a very difficult week for our family, and we were honestly too emotionally drained to make decisions. Our server, Jasmine, kindly took the reins and chose our meal for us -- which turned out to be the best decision we could have made. Every single dish she brought out was phenomenal. We started with the artichokes, arancini, and whipped ricotta -- each one better than the last. Then came the lemon pasta, spicy vodka pasta, shrimp, spaghetti and meatballs, and veal scallopini. Everything was absolutely delicious and clearly made with so much care. By the end we were so full we couldn't even attempt dessert. What made the evening truly special, though, was the kindness of the team. Levi, the GM, went so far out of his way to make us feel cared for and welcomed during a moment when we really needed it. The warmth and compassion we experienced there meant more than I can adequately put into words. Restaurants often talk about hospitality, but the team at Pepp & Dolores truly embodies it. Thanks for an evening we will never forget.

It's a nice vibe, though definitely on the darker side. I ordered the black kale salad, cappellacci (short rib, shallot, thyme), and the branzino. * The kale salad was solid, but a bit heavy on the pecorino. * The cappellacci was decent, though the accompanying elements didn't quite work for me. * The branzino was cooked well, but overall the dish didn't stand out in flavor. In general, the food felt underwhelming for the price. My bill was around $100, and I didn't feel the quality or flavor justified it. Some dishes came across a bit muted -- not sure if that's the intended style, but it didn't land for me. Parking in the area was also a bit inconvenient. Overall: great ambiance, but the food didn't meet expectations for the cost. I probably wouldn't return.

Because it is so exxxxxxpensive, this is not a restaurant you casually dine at. But since it was my sister's Bachelorette weekend, my group of 7 treated the bride-to-be to a luxurious dinner here in May 2026. And she had a wonderful experience! The interior is gorgeous, elegant, and smells amazing. The staff is professional and runs with the efficiency of a Michellen-starred restaurant. I always enjoy watching a staff of 7 deliver the table their food like they are performing a choreographed dance. I ordered the cheapest drink on the menu - a yummy local beer from MadTree for $7. The others had much more expensive cocktails that were $20+. You won't have to worry - while their food menu is small and selective, the drink menu is HUGE. They surprised us with glasses of in honor of my sister's upcoming nuptials. That was a lovely treat! I kept to being a cheap-o and ordered the $18 "Arpege" salad as my main. It didn't have any meat but it had a lot of cheese! Yum! Others ordered more substantial mains like the scallops, the beef tartare, the halibut, etc. All were plated beautifully. I had a bite of the bolognese, and while a small portion, it was superb. You do have to pay for bread service but it is unlimited refills so on $8, the 7 of us went through 6 loaves of bread and 6 trays of delicious salted butter. I personally probably had 2 loaves on my own. My god, it was the best thing I ate the entire trip! After we ate our mains, we then ordered a variety of desserts. Most of us got ice cream (get the strawberry!!). My sister and another girl got the famous "candy bar" dessert and the cheesecake. I had a bite of the candy bar and for $15, it was the most dense candy bar ever! Sooooo much chocolate! I'll end here but with tax and tip, we paid about $630ish. My portion was $51, by far the lowest of the group. I got out relatively cheaply because I filled up on bread but feel free to treat yourself and indulge a bit more!

Their foie gras torchon is also exceptional. We cannot wait for them to bring back the cod in buerre Blanc sauce. But last night we opted for the hamburger, which is quite the treat there. If you are a bourbon drinker, you should try their buffalo trace single barrel right now. My husband thought it was more delicious than most other buffalo trace, more of a cherry and vanilla hint. Anyway, we had a perfect night.

Our reservation was at 7:30 and we arrived around 7:25. When we got there I noticed the table near the chef's counter was still occupied, but we weren't too concerned since the party already had their to-go bags on the table. About 15 minutes passed and they ended up ordering dessert (slowly), so it became clear they weren't leaving anytime soon. The manager offered us a different table and apologized, but Lola had been really looking forward to the chef's seating since that's specifically what we reserved. In the end we waited about an hour, which was frustrating, especially since the other party could clearly see we were waiting. Overall it was an awkward situation to be in. That said, the staff handled the situation very kindly. The manager offered Lola a tour of the kitchen and the chance to meet the chef. My daughter was a little nervous and wanted me to go with her, but it seemed like the invitation was meant just for her and they didn't want adults in the kitchen (I get it!). The manager noticed she was scared and took her hand and walked her through the kitchen which made my daughter feel at ease. It was a thoughtful gesture and they were incredibly apologetic the whole time. Again, it was just an awkward situation overall. Plus we were starving. The food, however, was fantastic. The pasta was made from scratch and tasted incredibly fresh. The eggplant parmigiana was excellent, and I especially loved the "Via-misu."
