I've heard great things about their tuna sandwhich so I had to come try it myself. Hands down one of the best tuna sandwhiches I've ever had! I think they bake their own bread and it was so delicious. I love that the tuna and tapenade complement each other really well.

A solid coffee shop! This place serves Paru matcha and coffee beans from Dune Coffee, which is a huge plus. The espresso‑based drinks and matcha are great. They have a small counter where you order, and there's usually a line -- sometimes it takes a bit to get your drink, but it's worth the wait. They also have an outdoor patio, which is a nice spot to sit. Their menu includes fresh, local, ingredient‑forward dishes and a nice wine selection that I haven't tried yet. Overall, a great spot for matcha, coffee, and a relaxed vibe.

Outdoor space! This is a nice chill hipster spot very much needed on Adams Ave with lunch tables on a patio. I had a cappuccino and it had very strong espresso taste which was great, good coffee here. The strawberry ricotta bread was good but a bit expensive at $13 for it being a snack size. I appreciated the grandma plate and the baristas bringing it out of me so I didn't have to get up. Great for catching up with friends or a short WFH session, will def be back!

Service was good but the food was overpriced and was not very good. I got a chopped salmon toast with cream cheese I think. My bf got the toast with the fish eggs. The salmon was fishy and the fish eggs were salty. Overhyped for sure.

I hate coming here. When Bica first opened in our neighborhood we loved trying different drinks and items on the menu, enjoying their unique twists on everything and their delicious pastries and sandwiches. Sometimes it can be a hit or miss, as with most places that have more of an experimental approach, but lately I've been leaving Bica just regretting coming and wishing i had gone somewhere else for my morning routine. The staff will 100% prioritize their friends that walk into the coffee shop, over customers. This has happened many times where I'll walk in, place an order, then notice 5 people behind me in line getting their drinks before me simply because they're high-fiving and hugging the owners or baristas. I've waited 30-45 min for an iced tea while 10 people get their coffees who ordered after me because I'm not sure if it's easier to make 10 coffees in a row then stop your flow to make an iced tea, but they definitely don't make the drinks in order here which is so frustrating on top of the long lines. Bica is such a scene now it's more trouble than it's worth.

Cute little coffee shop right on Adams! The guy who took my order and my waitress was super nice. I ordered the honey sea salt latte, vanilla matcha with Meyer lemon cold foam, and the tuna sandwich. The coffee was yummy, decent for the price. The matcha was not for me, i didn't enjoy the type of matcha that was used and I was sitting outside in the shade and it started to curdle. The Meyer lemon cold foam was yummy on its own, i wish i ordered it with my coffee instead. The tuna sandwich is delicious but it only comes à la carte. Would have been great with a pickle or some pickled red onions. I saved half and ate it later at home retoasted, with pickles and chips 8.7/10 for the tuna sandwich!

This was a cute cafe that I visited in July of 2024. We ordered at the counter and sat outside. I chose the house cured lox and my friend opted for the cold cut sandwich. We chose got a tea and coffee, but I don't remember the names LOL. The salmon lox was really good and I got to try my friends sandwich as well. There was plenty of meat and the baguette was the perfect texture. Since it was a warm day, there were lots of flies buzzing around, so it made it a bit difficult to enjoy our food. I would love to come back and try their other menu items!

Bica is the perfect combination of having an amazing lunch while relaxing in a calming outdoors patio! Food & "coffee" is always delicious and their staff are always so kind and welcoming!!! Thank you Bica for your great food & service! Favorite place to have lunch with my daughter!

Came across this spot while walking around the neighborhood and was immediately drawn to the huge outdoor seating area. There aren't any indoor tables, but the outdoor setup is spacious and inviting. I ordered a latte, which was good. There was also a DJ playing music outside, I'm not sure if it was a special event or just part of the regular vibe. In the backyard, there was a small cart selling chicken noodle soup that looked very popular as well.

I popped into Bica on an early Saturday afternoon for a solo brunch and I was NOT disappointed! Both my hot latte (honey sea salt) and my iced latte (orange cardamom) were absolutely phenomenal. And don't pass up their food options! I had the Tuna Conserva sandwich - best tuna sandwich I've had in my life! Featuring local albacore, roasted peppers, mayo, green olive tapenade, and lemony arugula. 13/10 recommend! Service was excellent despite a bit of a line, and super chill vibes, even sitting at a table on the sidewalk. I'm looking forward to returning. :)

The coffee here is really delicious! I got a honey sea salt latte and was surprised at how smooth the coffee was, and they got the mild sweetness just right with that hint of honey. Service was fast and friendly, ambiance was casual but inviting. Street parking only. The patio area was shaded and it was really nice to enjoy the warm weather outside. My friend got the orange cardamom latte and really enjoyed her drink as well. I tried the salmon and black radish kimchi tartine- it was beautifully presented and had an interesting combination of flavors. I can't say it was really delicious, but it wasn't bad either. I'd try some of their other sandwiches next time if I'm hungrier! The ingredients themselves were good quality.

Cool coffee shop! There is a DJ in the back and the place was popping on a Sunday morning. Tried their lemon lychee latte, didn't taste the lychee at all but the drink itself was smooth and super tasty. I liked the light lemon hint. The honey sea salt was also fantastic!

Stopped in for early lunch, got the tuna sandwich and a cold pressed juice $25. It was nothing special, tuna served on a toasted sourdough bread arugula pesto tomatoes it was good but definitely not 17 dollar good

The food is was great and one of my favorite spots when I'm craving middle eastern wraps- I did built your own pita so of course I like the ingredients. I loved my pita bread (it's much different from the Greek style if you haven't tried it before!) and the enjoyed the steak in particular. It had a lot of warming spices (nutmeg and cinnamon maybe?) and the flavor is pretty unique! I added bell peppers, pickled cucumbers, lettuce, tomato, red onion, tahini sauce, and garlic sauce. I also got a piece of falafel - I always gotta judge a place by their falafel and this one was crispy on the outside and soft in the inside which was perfect. Next time I need to try the halloumi cheese stix with fig jam! Place was very clean and the decor was nice. I also love the Finjan coffee spot next door.

The staff is also consistently warm and kind, which makes the whole experience feel good from the moment you walk in. My only real frustration is with the wait times on online orders, and it's significant enough that I have to mention it. I work 10 min away and only get a 35-40 minute break. The app consistently quotes around 20 minutes- but honestly, 20 minutes shouldn't even be necessary. I've stood there and watched them make a bowl. It takes about two minutes. Other similar restaurants have my order ready in five minutes, consistently. So when the app quotes 20 and then I still end up waiting at the 20 minute mark on top of that - in a nearly empty restaurant - something is off. Today this happened (I hit the 20 min mark with no food), and I had to go up and ask them to make my order. This isn't a one-time thing either. It's happened enough times over the years that it genuinely deters me from coming here on my break. To their credit, there was a stretch where it seemed like they had it figured out, so I know they can do it. I just wish that consistency would stick. If you're not on a time crunch, absolutely go. The food alone is worth it. But if you're relying on a quoted pickup time, build in a buffer- a bigger one than you'd think you'd need.

The menu was a bit confusing, but I know that I like grilled veggies and Greek salad and then Ike was able to pick my protein that I wanted so that seemed easy enough. It took about 10 minutes for them to assemble my meal, but my veggies were cooked fresh on the stove, which was really nice. They tasted very freshly cooked just as they would as if I had cooked them myself at home. I was there about 1245 on a Monday and there were a few people there and they had some takeout orders so my order took about 10 minutes before I could walk out the door with it. They had a nice condiment bar where you could pick out some yogurt with dill sauce and then they're famous garlic yogurt sauce, as well as a jalapeño sauce And another spicy hot one that I would never try. When I got back to the jury room to eat my meal, I saw that there was a nice quantity of the fresh salad and the grilled vegetables but the meat was piled high! The employees were working efficiently and the place was spotless and orderly.
