I LOVE LOVE LOVE this station! There are only 2-3 short ads per segment, not like some of the other…read morestations that play 8-15 ads in one block. I do not enjoy 10 minutes of ads when I want to listen to my favorite rock and roll music! The on air personalities are fun to listen to and they always have little tid bits and contests going.Roger and the crew are always willing to become involved with the community and to contribute their time and their talents. I am so glad that they chose the southern Oregon coast to call home!

What seemed like a hundred years ago, when we first located here, I worked in radio and had the pleasure of working with a couple of folks that are still in the biz. Dedicated then, and still at it... I'm impressed. From raising money for burned out families, to filling buses for the needy... you'll likely find a K-Dock employee behind lots of the best deeds done in our community. Many of our best events are coordinated and promoted by K-Dock and their amazing group of folks. Bay Area of Oregon appreciates you K-Dock!!!

K-Light has been delivering exactly what a large portion of Oregon's Bay Area listeners obviously want to hear! Combined with their jazz station, I think K-Light is doing an excellent job servicing those people loyal to Christian programming and/or smooth jazz. Friendly, and good representation of what they claim to believe in... I find the employees of K-Light to be exceptional. Keep up the good work! It's a dog's world in radio in this small community, but I highly anticipate K-Light will never suffer to keep it's fair share of the listenership! As for advertisers, I am confident that IF a person is going to spend money on radio advertising, K-Light would be a good local choice. Their listeners are extremely loyal fans.

Every once in awhile a little piece of Eugene jumps up and reminds me of why it is so great to live…read morehere and that we DO still have some activists around. One quiet little example of the fabric of our community is one of our radio stations, Keeping Real Variety in Music, KRVM. I listen in the mornings and at work. Every am is breakfast with the blues, and during the day they have a unique selection of alt rock favorites that are perfect for at-work listnin'. Probably my favorite evening show is Tupelo Honey with Shotgun Majors, but there's pretty much an evening program for all genres. Truly independent radio is a dying breed, and soon I fear none of our airwaves will be "free." KRVM is doing their part to maintain real music, and to do it with an educational focus.
