This place was only nice and welcoming during the initial consultation -- just enough to get us to sign the contract. After that, the care and service went downhill fast. The doctor is cold, unfriendly, and takes no responsibility. We started with Invisalign, which they recommended for my daughter. But the trays only fit properly the first week of each set. After that, they became loose, popped out, and didn't hold their shape. We repeatedly contacted them, and although they made adjustments, the problem continued for 3-4 months. Eventually, they switched her to braces. They ordered all cheap materials!!! We were told Invisalign would take 16-20 months and braces would take 18-24 months. However, after only 10 months in braces (14 months total), they took them off. Her front teeth -- the main reason we came in -- still had a gap. I rushed to the office that day and asked them to put the braces back on. They said they would but had no time that day and scheduled another appointment. Later, they changed their story and blamed their staff for the "misunderstanding." The doctor refused to put them back on and never even spoke directly to us. They pressured my husband into signing removal papers before I arrived and before I could even see the final result. Now, they've only put a wire to hold the gap, which doesn't fix the problem -- and my daughter can't wear a wire forever. If open the wire, then the issue is still the same. We paid about $7,000 expecting a full, proper result -- not half-finished work and a permanent wire. This experience has been a complete waste of time, money, and energy. I strongly do not recommend this place. They care more about contracts than patients. read more

Outstanding. I had an issue that I didn't think was fixable with Invisaligns. Consulted with Dr. Biermann and he assured me that although they would not be perfect, he could make them pretty close. My teeth were super stubborn and took a long time to move to fix my bite. But they finally did, and I'm very happy with the results. I made an appointment at Biermann Orthodontics for a consultation to get a second opinion as I am already an Invisalign patient elsewhere. The crews were very friendly and efficient in getting me all the exams, estimates and patiently answer my questions regarding the payment plans. Very happy with the results. Best service ever seen in Portland area, very friendly team and good location in Hillsboro/Beaverton area. I was looking for a treatment with invisalign and minimal possible tooth extraction. Visited several orthodontists before Biermann Orthodontics, including kaiser and some other delta orthodontists due to an impacted canine tooth and overbite. Their suggestions were not to get any treatment and live with it, or the suggestions were extreme that involved removing multiple teeth. All suggestions made impossible to use Invisalign. Dr.Biermann was the only orthodontist that said they can fix it using Invisalign without tooth extraction or maybe just 1. All went as he suggested. Definitely get an opinion from them before starting any treatment. Note that this is a long journey that might take up to two years and you will be visiting a place pretty much every month. read more

I got braces from Dr. Biermann and I recommend his services. The staff is all so friendly and helpful. The office is very neat, tidy and clean. I love that they offer a variety of payment options so that it's easy on my budget to finally be able to fix my teeth. I appreciate that they give an approximate time that each appointment will be, so you can plan your day around your appointment. He's a little pricey compared to other orthodontists, about 2 grand more than what I paid for my daughter's braces. You pay more for good quality products, though. read more

I've been a client of Biermann Orthodontics for a little over 2 years now and my family has been very happy with the results and care the company has shown us. My sister and I have gotten traditional braces and it's been great going to the appointments. They are very warm and friendly. The company has a very welcoming atmosphere. There is a lovely waiting room, with coffee, tea, and hot chocolate and magazines for clients to sip on and read while waiting for their appointment time. Everyone is very welcoming and are great to chat with as well. Both in and out of the dental chair they are very social and nice. Absolutely the best experience. We are in the Portland area picking up my son from college and taking a vacation.
