Amazing start to finish. Smells for free but you really need to taste it. It's so good. Melts in your mouth from tenderness

Visited May 21 2026. See my receipt as always…read more This is a newer restaurant in Oroville. It used to be The Patio restaurant until it closed it's doors a few years ago. They have done a good job on the remodel ! It's located across and towards the back of where Dennys used to be ( btw. Dennys is closed permanently). I ordered the chicken pho and the combination plate. The pho broth was tasty and the amount they give you is budget friendly! Plenty of chicken in the soup! The combination plate consisted of chicken and beef with pork and shrimp with their rice. SO much food! The beef was tender..chicken was nice and tender and shrimp was tasty. Rice was excellent! Love the extra Seasonings on the side! It's going to be a hit in Oroville because they have fresh food with reasonable prices! They also serve beer and wine. They have outdoor seating but it's not set up yet to eat outdoors. Very large inside with a casual flair. Great experience! Will definitely be back to try another dish! Ps. Thank you LISA for excellent service! So sweet and attentive !

Quiet instrumental-type music was playing during our visit. "Best papaya salad ever!" says my husband -- and we eat a lot of papaya. We had ordered 2 combo papaya salads for dine-in, and then promptly ordered 3 spicy and 1 mild to take to my cousin's afterwards. The pho broth was top notch, as well as the khao poon. The khao poon is customizable and you can add quail eggs, pork blood, etc. The tricolor dessert drink / navaam was also really good with a fun selection of jellies. Definitely worth the stop if you love Hmong / Lao / Southeast Asian cuisine.

This is the best restaurant in town! I love this place…read more I had the BLT salad again and it was fabulous. It's because they use a very good quality bacon and blue cheese. I get it with blue cheese dressing Hubby got the shrimp scampi again. And loved it. It was light and the shrimp was really good. Mom got the special Chicken salad sandwich with oyster salad which she enjoyed. I had the cotton candy fizz again. And the Montgomery peach smash. They are great ordered together. The fizz is better without the extra lemon and lime in it (which I asked for but won't do next time) I also really liked the white linen drink. Sat outside on the patio this time and enjoyed it

One order was a pulled pork sandwich with garlic fries, it was very good ($22), the other order was a patty melt with regular fries ($18), the patty melt was flavorless. There was no salt or pepper on the meat making it bland. The caramelized onions were flavorless. The only flavor was the marbled rye bread with thousand island dressing. Hot chocolate and iced tea were the drinks. They had to go across the street to get the hot chocolate at their coffee house. Overall, this is a good place to eat. It has a nice patio out back too. I recommend that you try this place.
