Not a bargain store anymore. This used to be a decent place to find deals on overstocked items. Things were discounted 10-20% compared to buying them online or big box stores. However, recently I noticed that the price difference is negligible and you are essentially paying almost the same amount as if you were buying it at Walmart /Amazon /Costco. I rather pay one or two percent more and buy directly from Amazon/ Costco so I can get warranty, get it shipped to my doorstep, and make use of the return policy. The listings they have are inaccurate. I found an item of theirs online and spoke to the manager to confirm it was the correct item and asked for it to be put on hold. After driving over an hour to pick it up I was told they didn't have the item in the photo that I had confirmed with them. Super disappointed in my experience. Also, after returning home, I noticed that the new item I purchased had dents and scratches all over it. Even though the sales associate told me it was in perfect condition. You may get some good deals here but overall not a great experience. read more

Went in today to find a recliner. While there, I saw a four piece fabric couch. It was absolutely covered in stains and had a huge tear in one of the seat cushions. Big Box had the audacity to price it at $750! Are you kidding? You couldn't get more than $100 for it in that state on Facebook marketplace. I keep trying to give this place chance after chance. Maybe there are deals, but nothing I have looked at has been a deal. They seem to pray on the shopper who may not know the value of said items. They sell returns and such at or above retail for anything good. There are better places to look for deals without being returns. Speaking of returns, they don't do them! So be aware that if you buy something and find it defective you are stuck with it. read more

I have spent quite a lot over the short period of time I have lived in Burlington at the Big Box lOutlet store here. Today they have lost my business. Not only did the fan I purchased not work, when I returned it, I chose the same model and it was cracked when I opened the box. The manager, Elissa(?) was rude and extremely nasty when I attempted to return it. She started belittling me to other customers when I asked to speak to the owner of the store, as I asked her who her boss was. Anyway, I asked for his number and called him while I was in the store and finally got a credit after that ordeal. However, I would urge NO ONE to ever shop at any of these stores. If they treat seniors like this, they will treat anyone like this. :-( read more

If you have ever wondered what happens to medium to low-value items that you return to Costco. Well, I think this is the place where they come after they are returned. I first discovered this place a couple years ago and the biggest difference is that they used to have flat panel televisions here but as of today they do not have any and do not get them in very often. The atmosphere is chaotic with gardening equipment next to nail polish which is next to sporting equipment on the same aisle as cookware. It is one of those places that you need to walk down every aisle and check out every box. There are definitely still bargains to be had at this store. Clothing is another good buy here at this location which there are a large quantity and selection of furniture if pretty decent here also. The selection has declined a bit and the lack of more electronics makes will make my visits a little less often. Overall, it is an entertaining place to shop, bargains are here and be prepared to sift through the aisles and explore. read more

I have been shopping here ever since they opened. Items are OK. Some are new and some are used. Mostly the food are returns from Costco Wholesale. Beware of purchasing protein drinks in cases. I bought 1 & found out 2 drinks were already opened (half consumed). Unacceptable to resell tampered products. The prices are OK. The costumer service is very poor. Most sales people are grouchy and uppity. When I politely asked for help reaching items that are stacked all the way up their shelves, they literally snarl and make a snide remark as if I bothered them from doing their job but in reality, I spend hundreds of dollars to help pay for their salaries. I cringed every time I go in since I expect a very POOR service from their staff. The manager doesn't care about her employees bad attitude. They can all take a training on how to assist customers better. read more

This place has a lot of treasures! You never know what you will find here. Although it seems a bit pricier than you would imagine. I would expect to find clearance prices at an outlet store but a lot of things are higher than that. Especially the mix match furniture which can be found cheaper at other comparable stores. We stopped in here after seeing the Yelp review. We thought we'd just have a fun outing and look around - not buy anything. We left with $85 worth of stuff. But what we got for that $85 is amazing. We got a large area rug, the kind that costs $150-$300 in regular stores for $50, a runner (no clue what those cost but I know it's more than the $20 we paid here!), Uncle Ben's microwave rice cups for $0.40 each, and foil roasting pans for $1.25 each. They have all kinds of amazing deals. A scooter, the kind you can ride to work. for $490. A portable air conditioner for about half what I paid for mine. Furniture and TVs for a steal. It's fun to go, it's the kind of place you want to take your time in because some things are one of a kind, it's not like a normal store where there are a million of each item, this is more of a visual treasure hunt. Added plus: Everyone was helpful and friendly. One of my new favorite places to go! read more

I love finding a store I can trust I will find good deals at! We visit Big Box every couple of months, we would more if we were closer. You can find just about everything here, including a lot of Costco liquidation items. I have bought a few big ticket items here for great discounts and never had any issues with anything bought here. Be sure to take a peak upstairs too for even bigger discounts! And don't forget the clothes--they are always priced well. The staff always goes above and beyond. Once we were in for a sectional I had seen online, but it was sold by the time we came in. Someone asked if we needed help and I figured why not see if there was another available. We told him we were interested in a leather sectional--he went to the back and pulled so many options for us. We found the one we wanted and were thrilled! Had he not been so willing to help we would have left without our lovely sectional. We have also found counter stools, pet items, light fixtures, rugs and garden tools that we couldn't pass up. I think I will stop in this weekend to see what treasures I can find next! Thanks Big Box! read more

I had somewhat high expectations since there are so many great yelp reviews, but I was steered wrong on this one. The store is very messy and there is no rhyme or reason to it. Which is fine for most but I felt a little overwhelmed. It can be fun to browse but most of the stuff I was looking at was either opened, repackages, had writing all over the box or had certain parts removed. It is all over run from other stores and a lot of it is damaged. I would also check dates on any food you are buying. Might be expired. I can't speak on the service because I didn't buy anything. I also don't think that I will make the trek back out here. read more

Not that great prices. I'm a regular at Costco and know the prices well from items I've purchased or considered purchasing. Some of these prices are a few dollars cheaper than Costco. Some are actually more! I looked at a Duracell LED flashlight that I bought 2 for $20 at Costco in sale. Here it's a single item with no box for $15.?? I've noticed you save on average 10% if you didn't buy the item on sale at Costco. If you got the item on sale your probably loosing money buying here. I didn't find the deals that some people are talking. Maybe they increased prices. read more

Yes they have some good deals, but when you see a used water bottle for sale with liquid still in it, you start to wonder. Overall, the biggest problem with the store is there's just leftovers from Costco and Amazon clearance departments that were too beat up to sell there. That said, I'll keep dropping in to see if I can find a magical deal because it is very close to home. read more

The store is easy to access right off Hwy 2 in the frylands near Lake Tye Park. My entire family appreciates the value finds every time we shop here. From Men's, Women's and kids clothing, kitchen and housewares, indoor and outdoor furniture and holiday shopping we never leave empty handed and appreciate the savings. The employees are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. As the store has grown so have the selection and display of products. Right on target within their market space - items are priced to sell. We enjoy their social media connection too- they have great FB presence announcing deals and special sales. Big Box has become our go to store for parties, gifts, household items and even bathroom, laundry and cleaning supplies. Keep up the great atmosphere and friendly service big box! read more

There's a billboard on the 522 near Maltby, Snohomish, Woodinville for Monroe having a Big Box Clearance Store.... I wasn't sure what it had, or where it is in little Monroe. Wow! Their website is their Facebook page (they seem updated on posting pictures of new products). It's in the industrial business park area of Lake Tye (RIGHT by Sky Valley Gymnastics) near Fryelands Elementary. This area is not far from Hwy 2, or the Evergreen Fairgrounds. They mostly get things from Costco! Furniture, yard tools, home goods, damaged cat litter and dog food at cheaper prices, and great prices on food items FROM COSTCO! I saw: shovels for $10, men's Kirkland shirts for $10, a very nice fan for $27, Carharts for $20, LED light bulbs, etc. It's not a huge store, but wow, I'm impressed. I also heard a manager saying they couldn't hire a new person because they need to meet their budget... I want this place to stay open, so, this won't be hush hush, locals only secret!!! A lot of soccer games and practices happen in the fields nearby.... It'd be a great spot to check while our kids are at practice. Keep this place open! Monroe needs their businesses! read more

My wife and I were looking for a item and were considering purchasing on line. We found the same item at Big Box and we were thrilled to not have to wait & also know exactly what we are buying. Sarah was VERY helpful and walked us through the buying process, return procedure, and they even loaded the item for us without thinking twice! I was hoping this store would be a little better, but it was just alright. It is not very organized, but they do have quite a bit of product. Pricing was alright, but not hugely discounted. The furniture in particular didn't seem like a great deal. And as far as grocery items go, I could get a lot better deals on most items by just couponing at a regular grocery store. The best deals are probably on toys and home items. There is a pretty big selection of clothes and women's shoes, but it's hit or miss depending on what your style is. If I lived in Monroe, maybe I would go there every now and then, but I won't go out of my way to shop there. read more

BUYER BEWARE I bought an item worth over $800.00. The return policy was not clearly stated and it is 7 days. Nowhere on the receipt or the invoice did it state the return policy. It's not the 90 days my invoice said. That is only for warranty that they will fix the item if it does not work properly when you get it home. (which it did not). What a rip off. Now I'm stuck with a store credit that more than likely I will never use because I am now a skeptic. Very disappointed. read more

I used to like to come here for the variety of things, quite the range of products. Everything was great until I tried to return something. They day of purchase, I mentioned I may not even use it, but bought it for a backup. The cashier told me about their policy for "in-store credit only on returns", and that I had 30 days to return. I thought hey this is great, I've spent thousands at this store, and am a regular customer, so in store credit isn't that big of a problem for me. I returned 8 days later after never using the product (very clearly brand new) and got hassled about the return by the two employees working the register. They said I only had 7 days to return an item, and I had clearly misunderstood that when I bought it, despite asking that specific question. They looked at the receipt and knew the person that wrote and said they would never have told me that. I was shocked at their unwillingness to resolve the situation. One stated, that she can't do anything about this matter and doesn't want to get fired. I ended up walking out, never to return on a matter of approximately 100 dollars in store credit. No problem for me really, there are a ton of other stores in the area. Normally never would say anything. I would let a business figure it out on their own and fix their problems, or just fail on their own. I do however feel a bit responsible to make sure people know about the potential hassles here and that keeping their customers happy is not a priority. read more

This is such an exciting store! The variety of products that they carry is huge. They have clothes, food, appliances, housewares, furniture, electronics, you name it. This is definitely a one-stop shop. The prices are so good, you wonder how they make money? And the products are reliable products. A lot of brand names that I recognize and trust, unlike most clearance stores. It's set up like a discount Costco, so you never really know what you're going to find, but that's what makes it so fun! Make sure you have a good amount of time to walk through the whole store, this is not a place you can buzz through in 5 minutes. The staff is very helpful and friendly as well. I have found some awesome deals here in the past, however I bought a keurig coffee maker got it home and it didn't work. I did get a refund but it was inconvenient to have to turn right around and pack it back up and return to the store- if it had been tested as the box stated this would not have happened. Also, I recently bought some cleaners which I later discovered the soft scrub had been diluted with bleach and toilet cleaner that was diluted with water. The store has been reorganized and a lot of new furniture and clothing has been added. read more

If you'reare a treasure hunter, you must make a trip to Big box outlet in Monroe. You will be greeted by awesome employees that genuinely want to help. With new items put out daily...its hard to not go multiple times a week. Don't be worried if u go in and get lost in bargains and you suddenly realize hours have passed. It happens, lol! I bought a Sony sound bar for under $100..thats right under $100, including tax. Holy bargains batman. This is a MUST go to bargain store. You won't be disappointed. Coming to the store is like being on a treasure hunt... You really don't know what you're going to find but you are hoping that you find something worthy of you being there. The store is relatively organized but not like your standard store. The prices are visibly priced for the most part. The store is quite large in size. They have shoes food furniture electronics games/toys pretty much everything. The products that have been opened are marked with an inspection sticker initialed by a staff member and dated. They have a rewards card available also. All in all my family goes to the store on average about once every 6 months. Its typically fun. read more

This place is a joke, bunch of over priced already used or returned crap. If you ever stop by this joke of a business take a look at the prices and look them up on your phone, some things are below original price but only by $10-$20 on expensive stuff. They had a compact stroller that was priced at $136, I felt that was way over priced, so I looked it up.... The new model was online at kmart for $50! I asked why it was only $50 online and $136 there and they told me no price reduction. Do your research people, they are ripping people off for used crap. read more
