I semi remember consuming a few adult beverages from the venue's fully stocked bar and practicing on an indoor simulator before I walked out back to the driving range and hit every ball a straight 300+ yards. Seriously, true story. Later, I came back and played a couple of rounds of mini golf with my nephew and in laws. The course has a few quirks for us olds, but is easy enough that the kids will enjoy it. This is a fun place.

They also have a shop where you can get golf gears and other accessories. They have weekly bar specials and also mini golf specials. They were very nice and helped us right away. The mini golf course is a little small but fun, we paid about 6 bucks per person. Definitely a good place to hangout with friends.

It's an especially good course if you're learning. The fairways and greens are well kept and manicured. I like how the native grasses and foliage are allowed to grow in the out of bounds rough areas. The view walking up the sixth and the eighth fairways next to the old Fort Hays museums is cool, too. The course is quite walkable, however carts are available for rent. The course asks that you keep them on the cart path. There is a small putting green near the clubhouse where you can practice your putts and short game. I didn't see a driving range. Green fees are reasonable. I paid $13 to walk nine holes (October 2020.)

Not enough help, some staff are clueless. Hoping leadership makes some good changes before the slow demise of a nice place in Hays.

You must curve the ball both ways if you want to attack the course. There are holes that force you to cut the ball and holes where a draw is much better. Matt in the pro-shop is knowledgeable and knows pretty much every member by name and is a good asset to the country club. 5 stars, always have fun playing golf out here!

Same smell. We were going to picnic, but ate in the car. It's a pretty little park with lots of pavilions, picnic tables, swing sets and a well-kept disc golf course. Hope they get whatever is producing the smell managed.
