So I stopped in this past Friday to inquire about their embroidery services as myself and a few colleagues wanted to get our names embroidered on our new work jackets. Even though they were not able to provide me with the requested service the woman that helped had amazing customer service skills(I hate that we didn't exchange names!) was fantastic. She took the time to explain their services and recommend another business that could meet my needs. She took the time to get pen and paper and write down the company's name, location, phone number and email address. No set-up fees and free design make this custom tee-shirts (and beyond) joint stand out. They also don't screenprint, so you can wash and wear all you want without worrying about that pesky peeling phenomenon. I actually watched my shirt get made, and they did it in like two minutes flat (as I testify on their Facebook page video. Don't watch it; it's scarily unflattering -- or, maybe not -- I'd just gotten out of the gym and, well, you can definitely tell!). As I browsed around the shop, two things struck me 1) small, lackluster selection (note: this is not an issue if you order from their broad catalog that has a bunch of different styles, brands, colors, and so on) and 2) the transfers seem to have a tendency to be grainy, particularly when the design is from a real-life photo. Condescending and rude salesperson. I don't know the difference between digital printing and screen printing because I don't work at a T-shirt shop, bud. I asked for a quote from the company - I got an initial quote for screen printing - Their website claims no minimums or art setup fees - but when I got their email, they stated there is a $50 screen fee - but of course this is not an art or set up fee - this fee is pretty much par for the tshirt biz, so no biggie... Where I have a problem with this Big Frog location is they are very inconsiderate. I had sent a simple question asking if they would be able to embroider my design on jackets or vests - I actually sent it several times - but got no reply at all. I actually called the location and left a voice mail and got no reply. I would say if you care about service, try a different company. read more

I placed two large orders with the company. Poor communication, customer service and attention to detail. Athletic shirts had numbers/names that were applied at the store and delivered to us that way. Manager took no responsibility yet gave me every excuse otherwise including the dryer, their supplier and varying formulas used that could be off. Business order I placed was missing several sweatshirts but the store refuses to acknowledge because it was my responsibility (again) to count prior to leaving the store. I cannot stress enough that this is not a reliable local business that I would ever patronize again. read more

I had a wonderful experience with Big Frog. I wanted 1 custom tee shirt with a picture I found on the internet and they did a beautiful job of it! Jessica is very helpful! She helped me setup my shirts with logo and I absolutely loved how it came out. I picked up my shirt from Rachel who is also super nice. Love the warm and friendly service here. Customized shirts are rather pricey here but it's worth it for the great customer service. You could also purchase your own shirts and bring it to have it printed as well to save money. read more

Very disappointed! They advertise both embroidery and no minimums, but after making a special 15 mile trip I was told they have a minimum of 6 items for embroidery. I understand the reason for the minimum, but advertising no minimums is deceptive. read more

I needed several sets of t-shirts for kids and adults with a pretty short turnaround. Big Frog had a wide selection and they do the work on site. They were very attentive to detail. When they needed to change the color of the shirt slightly I got a call, when they had the design ready I got an email, when I did not get back to them right away they called. As a busy person I appreciated the costumer service. I like shopping at small, privately-owned places and Big Frog fits that bill. I felt that their prices were fair for an independent shop. It turned out that my daughter's school had ordered from them already so that just sealed the deal for us. read more

After looking to order some Black Shirts with Big Frog in a short quantity (about 5) I discovered that they cant do the shirts and have to "send them out" to be done which sounds like a middle man sale to me. The low quantity of shirts also made my shirts VERY expensive. I was told that if I got a higher quantity of shirts that i could get the price reduced. so I got a quote on this and found that the shirts were still more than i wanted to pay. I did some shopping around and found a place in Durham called Body Billboards that would take my order and do them for a great price. On entering the shop there they had boxes lining the front floor and low and behold one of them has a Label on it for Big Frog to pick up. after asking the guy at body Billboards he told me he does shirts for them. This bothers me because Big Frog tried to take me for a fool and make me pay for shirts when i could just cut the middle man and save. Cut the middle man, do research before you settle for the fake store front and nice smiles. read more

Great printing job with BigFrog. The staff was very helpful and turn around time was about a week for what I wanted. This is the only place I went so I don't know how cost would compare with other stores but for me it was convenient and I was fine with the price quoted. read more

Brought in some t shirts to copy over to a size that fits me. The company was able to do this last spring but now they couldn't help me at all. First trip they told me that they couldn't reproduce white lettering. Second trip I brought in 2 shirts with no white lettering and they told me I needed artwork files for the graphics and there would be a $50 set up fee.
