Friendly people, great communicators, excellent painters. The price was fair, the job was done well and on time. Highly recommend.

If you are planning on doing an addition, do yourself a favor and hire Erik Foster and his crew…read more  My wife and I are the type to tackle our own projects, but when we decided to add 800 square feet to our existing 1,300 square foot home we knew we needed professionals.  After many unfortunate events with another subcontractor, Erik Foster crossed our project's path and was a breath of fresh air. To meet someone in the trade that knew what they were doing, took pride in their work, and communicated up front any issues or decisions that had to be made was what we were looking for.  Erik and his crew took over our stalled addition; they fixed the existing floor framing, laid the sub-floor, raised the walls and trusses, sided the addition, sheeted the roof, and dry walled the interior.  They also installed all the new windows, hung the exterior doors, and installed the faux batten boards for the entire house exterior with meticulous detail. Erik took over a broken project and made it right for my family and that in itself says it all.  His crew hustled on the job site even when nobody was looking and showed up to work on time with a smile on their faces and looked you in the eye when communicating.  With an addition there is always surprises and Erik was upfront with what to expect and more importantly dealt with the unexpected professionally.  There was a lot of our project that my wife and I ended up doing ourselves, some planned and some not, but Erik was a great resource in pointing us in the right direction when we had questions.  Erik and his crew are a refreshing reminder of how people are supposed to be; hard working, take pride in their work, do what they say, and respect their customers as people just like them.

Erik made short work of our project, and was more than reasonably priced. We would definitely use…read moreFosters Framing again.

What a great company Stone Fire Construction was to work with!…read more From the moment, I contacted them to do some work for us, until they just finished, Stone Fire Construction owned by Scott Bender was awesome. The communication (YES! They do communicate quickly and often) was so much better than almost any contractor we have encountered. Their cost estimate was very reasonable, they are fully licensed, insured and bonded. They met all of the contract timelines, and wow did they work hard! Scott and his team were dedicated to getting our job done on time even though they encountered issues that could not be foreseen. Everyone on the job were personable and professional. I know that reaching out to an unknown contractor can be intimidating and can make one feel very anxious. However, if you want to hire one of the good ones, then don't hesitate to contact Scott (541-610-8420) at Stone Fire Construction, I promise you won't be sorry.

Beware of hiring Stone fire construction and maintenance LLC. The owner Scott Bender came and gave…read moreme several bids that I accepted, starting with building a dresser for my daughter. He showed up an hour late in a broke down car with a "friend" and no tools even though he assessed what he would need the week before. They looked dirty and like they had a rough night partying the night before. Then left to go to Ace despite the fact the dresser came with tools and I also have my own. They left and then 2 hours later I messaged him I have plans and needed to leave. He showed back up and wanted to take the dresser to his "shop" and return in a few hours. Over a 3 day period he made up excuses on why it was taking so long, including telling me his uncle went to the hospital and died! He told me the dresser was built that day, then the next said there was missing instructions and took another day, then he said parts were missing and he had to "fabricate parts". Over these 3 days me and my kids dad tried telling him to just bring the dresser back and how uncomfortable I was. He would not bring it back until he was done. Once returned and he was paid, I moved the dresser and it fell apart. He did a ton of damage and then tried to glue it together hoping it would stay. I requested a refund and he refused to make it right and started insulting me and telling me it's my fault because I moved it. It was brand new in a box, I should be able to move it, with out it falling apart. Now I'm left to try and report him while being out $500 as a single mom. This was sooo wrong! Do not trust him!
