I think this is probably the best antique store I've ever been in. My wife and I actually enjoy…read morepopping into different antique stores while we are traveling to see if we can score a new treasure for the home. We kind of came across this place by accident looking for a boutique that we were going to go check out. As it happened, the boutique, was actually located in one of the booths at the antique mall. This place was massive, with three floors to explore. Booths on the lower floor are very clearly marked, and kind of cool, they have some locked glass cabinets that have items that would be considered a little more rare. Really, a ton of stuff that we both liked looking at while we were here. As we expanded the search upstairs, it didn't feel quite as structured as the lower floor, but all items have a sticker with a booth number, so if you are questioning what booth it came from you can figure it out pretty easily (this may be of importance if you think an item came from a booth that is running a sale). The staff were friendly and helpful and let us store some stuff on the front counters while we continued exploring. Only reason for a deduct on the review rating, the AC was virtually non-functional on the top two floors - It was was too warm up there. Otherwise, this place is really pretty awesome!

We are new to the area and walked…read morein and we were eyed and followed as though we were going to walk out with their goods without paying. When we did go to the register, the cashier stared at us a moment as though she wondered what we wanted. Checked out our three items and shoved them back toward us without even putting them in a bag. We may go back at some point but next time we'll be loud and verbal.

There's also a Hot Wheels booth, T-shirts, shoes, and a store with general items and tools for cheap. There's also a snack vendor that serves breakfast and lunch items but it looked a little sketchy for my taste. The people watching aspect was pretty phenomenal. I saw a man in a black trench coat, one dangly earring, and a jade choker with two kids whom I overheard saying to the oldest, "Missy's gOt to git huur present furst." :P

When we popped in we found that they had all sorts of German related stuff .... toys, snacks, drinks, Christmas ornaments ..... The back of the store had another section of really cool toys that were really unique. As we worked our way back up the other side of the store we found a wall that had tons of spices and teas. All in large containers that you take to the front counter and tell them how much you want and they scoop out how ever much you want (pay by the ounce). The highlight of the store, the lady (presumably the owner) that made the shopping experience so nice. She also gave us some tips on cooking tea that we had never heard before. Really awesome customer service! We would for sure check them out, especially in a couple months (now Late July/early August) when she starts getting shipments of Christmas candies.

I was starving and hadn't eaten anything yet and it was 2pm and I thought it was a German restaurant. Needless to say I was very disappointed, and when my husband wanted to "just check it out," I stomped in planning to give it a cursory glance and depart to the car with haste. Well I gave it a cursory glance. I saw German steins and yawned. I saw little metal toys and rolled my eyes. But then I saw some colorful and well crafted Christmas ornaments. Hmm... interesting. I saw a vast wall of spices and teas. Well, maybe I like it *a little bit * after all. German chocolate and sweets and food mixes and kitchen stuff really captivated my attention. But the nicest lady you will ever meet who works there (probably the owner) was the icing in the cake. A store that I didn't want to even go in that ends up making me want to come back again and again? If that's not a *shoppe* worth 5 stars then I don't know what is! Guten tag!

(mine was even a youth too because they didn't carry my size in the camo I wanted.) when he got home the lady miss lead him on youth vs. women's sizes. he told her I needed a 6 in women's and she advised him to get a 7 in youth... she obviously did not know. When we came back to exchange them there was two ladies in there and the one with white hair was super friendly and started to help me when the one with dark hair cut her off and said to me "I knew those was gonna be too big" excuse me what.... she was extremely rude to me saying that's the smallest they carry and basically sorry about it. So I just left and went on muckboots website and found them... realized he paid over $30 more just on mine than the original carrier. So after adding all 3 boots to my cart (AFTER shipping AND taxes) it was $264... WHAT. They overprice their merch THAT much. Being a "local Business" my husband always buys local and he realizes you're gonna be paying a little more to support local but for almost $150 cheaper he could get them STRAIGHT from the manufacture. Since they didn't have my size and SHE mislead HIM we tried to return them. When I asked her to return them she slams her hand on her desk where a hand written (in markers that had to have been there for years because of it being half faded and torn) piece of copy paper that said "no refunds." what am I supposed to do with a youth size 7 that's equivalent to a women 8.5 when I wear a womens 6?!?! so I went back and told my husband she wouldn't do anything so he went BACK in and just asked her his check back and she could just have all her shoes back and then magically she NOW has my size? Very disappointed in this local business. very over priced and not friendly and by our experience today not very knowledgeable. Don't recommend Werner's shoes and boots in Cullman.
