There are many furniture venues throughout NC but we stuck close to home. In and out of the many stores in Franklin we were disappointed by the high cost of furniture which most touted "man made wood". What does this mean? Well the charmless furniture was not wood, not appealing, looked like molded plastic and expensive. We found one place that had nice, well-made furniture to our liking and actually crafted using wood. The selection is small but we were able to purchase two highly crafted nightstands for the same cost as the charmless pieces in other stores. It is a family run business and the furniture is made in Tennessee. Some pieces can be special ordered. I would have given 5 stars as I would have liked more choices; I would have purchased many more pieces!

This store is dirty, most of the cars are broken, empty shelves, and nobody working the fill the shelves. Will never shop there again! Not much has changed on the outside but what used to be department stores are now being repurposed and that's Bryant's Antique Mall has done. Three floors of, well, a little bit of everything. Nice antiques, nostalgia from all eras, lots of glassware, some cool furniture, old farm equipment, books, old cameras, just a nice blend. Pricing is set by the individuals who rent the booths so you might find the same thing in several booths at different prices so it pays to look around. All 3 floors are full and nicely arranged with plenty of room to walk around in so plan to be there for while if you want to see everything. The upstairs even has a discount area with all items marked down. It's a really cool building but no public restrooms so if go you might want to stop by the Public Restrooms which are only about a 2 minute walk from Bryant's. They have a sign when you walk in the door with directions. There were 2 gentlemen there on my last visit that were helpful and will answer your questions and help you load larger items you purpose. It's a very cool store so check it out!

This new Sav-Mor Foods location opened early April 2018 in the same spot as an Ingles that closed…read morein Westgate Plaza. It is part of a chain that operates stores in NC, SC and TN. They do NOT have a website. They ARE owned by Ingles yet Ingles makes no mention ANYWHERE on its website that they exist. I went to the Grand Opening and there were management folks all over like at an Ingles opening but to a lesser scale. They promote themselves as a discount store. There is also a chain in the regions called Sav A Lot, and this is not them. There is also a Sav Mor in Alabama and I dont believe this is them either. Northern California has a chain called Sav,Mor Foods and this is not them. This chain uses a dot between Sav and Mor and this chain here in NC SC TN uses a dash -. If you look around the store you can find a few bargains but nothing to get excited about. Opening week had nice Pineapples and Cantaloupe for $1.50 each. Canned vegetables, not a name brand were 39c can. The help in the store is 100% new. NONE of the Ingles help stayed on to work here. The workers will readily tell you yes this is owned by Ingles. You will also see Laura Lynn products throughout the store. The yellow shelf labels are just like Ingles. However you cant scan your Ingles card. They have no such card. They also DONT have bakeries, delis, or you scan. Only regular human checkers. They do have an area of Hispanic/Mexican foods. Whats also different is you will find a few things that a regular Ingles would never carry. One odd one is a flat of No Name No label Cat food in monster cans. Most cat foods I thought were small cans the size of tuna cans or smaller. These are BIG cans. Must be some monster cars around these parts! (photo posted) 12 unmarked cans sealed on a flat for $4.17. Thats less than 35c a can! I dont think it gets any cheaper than that! These can sizes really puzzle me though. I wonder what this stuff is really used for? Another thing you can get here is some of the less fashionable parts of the animal in the meat dept. They had pork tails, pork stomach, pork ears, pork neck bones, pork feet, beef tongue,beef feet, beef tripe. Some people use some of these things for bone broth which is now in fashion for health. They dont have a website so you cant look at a flyer online. In the store they have a small 8 1/2 x 11 sheet with specials at the door. The help was friendly and I wish them success in Franklin.

Beware of the online pickup!! This past Christmas holiday, I…read moreordered and PAID for two apple watches from this store. These watches were in high demand at the time and I was lucky enough to be able to purchase two for my daughters Christmas gifts, well so I thought. I went to pick up my two apple watches and when I got to the store, they bought out a package with just one of my watches. The employee did NOT advise me that they had only had one in stock, yet turned away and went back toward the store. I stopped them and asked them why I didn't have two like I had ordered. They went in and about 30 minutes later, came back out and said that I had the only one that was in stock. I asked if I was going to get a refund and all they would tell me is that I would have to call the Walmart toll free number and discuss it with them. So, I called while I was still in the parking lot and the associate assured me that I would get a refund. I asked if they could send me a watch through the mail and he advised that they were unable to do so. I then found another watch and paid for it again but had to drive to hendersonville to pick it up. No problems at that store. A few days went by and nothing was refunded to my bank account. I called back, day by day, sometimes several times a day, yet always promised that I would get my refund. I was sick of calling. I called and asked to speak to a manager and this particular manager just up and told me that I was not getting a refund and did not explain why, nor what the problem was. Would not give me an explanation. So a few days ago, I got an email stating that they were going to refund my protection plan that I had purchased on the one watch I didn't receive. Someone in that store either stole an apple watch that day or something else. I don't know what is going on at this store, and I have asked to speak to the manager that handles the car pickup and all they can do is tell me to call the walmart hotline. Beware of this store people, especially when ordering expensive items. I can almost guarantee I will never see that apple watch or the $250 that I spent on it. Its not alot of money, but when you struggle being a widower and having two teen girls, money just don't fall off of trees around my house.
