Honestly, best mozz sticks you'll ever have!!!!! The mozzarella comes from grass-fed cows and is a cultured mozzarella, meaning it isn't made with chemicals. The breading is made from all fresh ingredients. There is a half of a pound of cheese in every order (so probably not for anyone dieting), but DEFINITELY worth $10. Simply amazing. I don't love mozz sticks and $10 is a hefty price to pay for 4 pieces, but these are done so so well that it's absolutely worth it. The cheese is this beautiful gooey concoction and the whole thing is just fried to perfection. I actually took a bite and swooned. Even the pizza sauce tastes fresh and has real tomato chunks within. Ok so this group does a vendor stand at the end of the 5 borough ride. After more than 35 miles on the bike you are craving something to snack on!!! Oh man this place. Friend posted too but asked a guy to throw something away from me (I was a paying customer) and he actually mocked me. With a purposely child-like voice to make fun of us, he asked if the trashcan behind him was the right one. I recommend that this particular guy working there go on a long journey to rediscover his maturity. Mozzarella sticks in themselves were okay, but nothing too special except that they are very thick. Went to Smorgasburg last Saturday and this was my favorite thing besides the donut sandwich by Kimchi Smoke. The crust was really good, was like a crispy pizza. Then the cheese at the center was super creamy, reminded me a bit like Brie. You get four and each is about the size of a hot dog. My friend went to their pizza stand on the other side of the park and liked it but the bottom was a little blackened. read more

I had big mozz at governors ball and it was the most unorganized mess of a food stall I've ever witnessed. I understand they had a large crowd because of the festival and popularity of the name, however it was disorganized in that there was zero direction. It should have been much simpler due to the fact that there is virtually one thing on the menu and everyone was practically ordering the same thing. After waiting for about an hour and a half I was expecting a mind blowing mozz stick experience and what I got was barely decent. They were entirely burnt an not worth $10 for 4 sticks. The server added a big tip without my consent. I've been in the industry for years so I'm all for tipping a living wage, but we had grabbed prepackaged lemonades and didn't feel like tipping a huge amount was appropriate. Saw their tent at Panorama and decided to try them out. Let me just say I've had a lot of mozzarella sticks. If it's on the menu at a restaurant, I try it. Big Mozz exceeded my expectations from the service to food, I loved it. Even though these are pricey, keep in mind that these sticks are super long. Really like the ranch packets they gave me, I would never think to try ranch on mozz sticks. I like to dip them in the ranch then in the marinara while they're still hot. Great job guys. read more
