    Oil leaked

    I took my van here for a simple oil change and ended up with a major problem. Shortly after leaving 25 miles , while driving on I-680 toward Fairfield, other drivers started honking and warning me that my van was leaking fluid and smoking. I pulled over and found oil all over the engine, under the van, and even on the back and sides. My company had to send another van to transfer my load, and I waited two hours for a tow truck. When I arrived back at the shop, the front desk staff greeted me with an attitude instead of offering help. The mechanic, Williams, first claimed the issue wasn't related to their work. Later, after I followed up, I was told it was caused by a defective filter. Another employee admitted they had forgotten to install the oil filter ring. Even after they "cleaned" the van, it was still dripping oil everywhere. I asked for a proper steam clean and reimbursement for the tow, but both were refused. Williams also stated they would not cover any dealer inspection or repair costs if further damage is found. Overall, the situation was handled very unprofessionally. The mistake caused me a major inconvenience, lost time, and potential damage to my vehicle, yet the shop refused to take full responsibility. Not recommended.

    Smh yes another Nail

    Well 4 months ago I came here and now I'm back! Came in this am and met Williams .... Walked in while he was with an older lady who was super funny and nice. After he was done with her He greeted me and asked what's going on for me today and guess what!!? Nail in the tire again smh ... I gotta really check parking spots now before I park .... He got my key for the mileage and before you knew it he was done. Like wait what; had a good convo with a coworker of his that was super nice also Charles found out he does uniforms but he was chill. I even met the man that worked on the tire Johnny! Thank you man and thank you for the I need a new tire part. Next month I swear thank you for always being professional, honest and prompt at this big o. Until next time

    If you look, you can see the spare tire hanging down at a steep angle. This is the way they gave my truck back to me.

    First off, let me start by saying Mike was the only positive experience out of this entire interaction with this big O. I showed up early morning because I got a flat tire on the freeway. Mike helped me with great customer service informed me that unfortunate they did not have a tire in stock. They would have to order it. I let Mike know that unfortunately I was running late for a meeting and he offered to have the tech put my spare on for me. The technician had an extreme amount of difficulty lowering my tire so much show that they had to use my tools to lower my tire and then try to give me my truck back with a tire still dangling down. I had to tell him that that's not right, it needs to be lifted if I drive it like that it could bounce out and cause a lot of damage to my vehicle. It took two people to get my tire back up.The next day I took my truck to the Toyota dealership where they informed me mounting the tire underneath the vehicle is not the right thing to do. This causes damage to the face of the rim which you can see in the photos provided. I told him not to do anything and I would have the conversation with big O I think call big O where I was told come back the next day and the manager would review it with me. Keep in mind I live in another city and have to cross the bridge so this isn't an inexpensive trip when I showed up the next day I was informed that no manager was here today and they're not sure why I was told that but luckily Mike was there and once again provided me with great customer service took photos of my situation documented and notated everything and apologize for the experience since said don't worry we'll take care of this only for close to two weeks to pass for me to be told that because they didn't charge me for the service that they wouldn't repair anything that the damage caused my vehicle was my own responsibility to repair. I offered to pay to have the tire mounted. I offered to buy a tire. Had they had one in stock I do all my business with big O and they damaged my vehicle and tell me oh well you're on your own.. This is an extremely upsetting situation. I even offered to spend more money at their location purchasing brand new rims and tires for the entire vehicle. If they could give me it's reasonable discount I've made a call into corporate and have received no call. I was also told that the district manager would call me and explain all this to me which they did not and still have received no call as an individual that works in customer service and someone who trains on customer experience. This is definitely not the way to grow retain business my only advice to anyone reading. This is pick another location to purchase your tires. It's obvious that this one doesn't care about their customers.

I was told that I did not need an appointment. I spoke with a person less than 5 mins walking in. He checked out my vehicle and told me that it would be taken care of within 45 mins. I had 3 ppl on front of me. I would suggest you go very early when they open at 8 am if you do not have an appt. They took care of my tire.

    I'm updating my previous 5-star review based on my most recent experience…read more I purchased four new tires for my truck, and what should have been a simple installation turned into eight trips back to the Concord store. During the original installation, two of my TPMS (tire pressure monitoring system) sensors were damaged. On my second visit, they replaced the sensors, but they still didn't report tire pressure. On my third visit, I was told everything was working and that I just needed to drive the truck until the sensors synchronized with the vehicle. After driving all weekend with no change, I returned for a fourth visit, where the sensors were reset, but I was told there was nothing more they could do. On my fifth visit, I explained that I was ready to take my truck to Toyota to have the issue fixed and wanted to know if they would cover the cost. Instead, they asked me to give them one more chance. I came back the next day for my sixth visit, and after calling their technical support line, the technician finally discovered the real problem--they had installed the wrong TPMS sensors. Because they were too busy to fix it that day, I had to return yet again. On my seventh visit, after waiting over an hour before my truck was even taken into the shop, the correct sensors were finally installed and everything worked as it should have from the beginning. When I got home, I realized one of my hubcaps was missing. Fortunately, they had it, but that meant an eighth trip back to the store. The biggest disappointment wasn't that mistakes were made--mistakes happen. It was that no one in management took ownership of the problem. By the third visit, the store manager should have stepped in to ensure the issue was resolved instead of having me make repeated trips. To make matters worse, I overheard the manager referring to me as "the guy who keeps complaining about his tire sensors." After eight trips to correct problems that began during their installation, I don't think my frustration was unreasonable. The one employee who deserves recognition is Rene. He took the time to investigate the issue instead of making another guess, and he ultimately discovered that the wrong sensors had been installed. Thank you, Rene, for doing what should have been done much earlier. Unfortunately, this experience erased the confidence I had from my previous visit. I can no longer recommend the Concord store and will be taking my business elsewhere. I am giving 2 stars because of Rene without his help this was a zero start experience.

To my surprise, the atmosphere was incredibly welcoming and relaxed--it was like a pit stop in a race! Jim took the time to listen to my concerns, making me feel at ease as I joked about being clueless about car troubles post-divorce. Seriously, I felt like I was in the *fast lane* to disaster! But Jim's honesty and straightforward approach completely *tire-d* my worries away. Over the past five years, I've trusted no one else for my car needs, from brakes to tires to electronic repairs. They really know how to *steer* you in the right direction! Recently, my husband needed some auto work, and he looked at me like I was *nuts* when I said we should go to Jim's. But after taking both our cars there, he was *revved up* with happiness! We've now decided to send our fleet of company cars there regularly. Even though Jim has sold the business, the same team remains, bringing the same level of care and professionalism.
