He can come to this store and use his card to withdraw cash when he needs to. Almost every time I come to Bayou Blue, I have to get the boudin balls! OMG, those things are so delicious! It is sausage and rice in a sausage type casing. You can buy it hot and fresh cooked to order here. You can dine in or have it to go. Nothing fancy, but they serve their purpose. Some of the Cashiers are not too friendly, but they are helpful.

There are drunk guys who basically hang out in the parking lot all day and all night. One of these..uh..gentlemen informed me that he thought I had a nice ass. Really? Seriously, how disrespectful. Eww. Inside wasn't much better. Everything was really dusty and it reeked of onions. I'm pretty sure the cashier lady (who was about 50) was high and she was smoking a cigarette. When did that become ok again? Gross. I do not want to inhale your cigarette smoke, ok lady? I wouldn't go here again. Ever.

Yes, it does smell a bit off inside, I'm not sure what it was either. The main convenience is the gas, which is on the cheaper side of the average price for the area. But, unless you are heading east on West Esplanade, you will have to make a U-turn to get into this spot. It is easy access in and out. The convenience store is well stocked with all of your basic necessities.

That makes the convenience store bathroom smell a bit smoky but it was clean. The convenience store was interesting, in that it had a lot of items you only see if the south.

Neighborhood gas station that has transformed several times. Since Hurricane K, it has gone from…read morebig name branded i.e. Exxon to generic name branded, i.e. Fuel Zone (how random is that name). No matter, it gets the "fill'er up" job done & that's what matters huh? Going inside, you can find just about whatever you need from oversized white t's to Saints "dat girl tshirts" (i purchased one, real talk) to air fresheners (my most recent purchase) to glass bongs (hand to the Bible) to cologne to boiled eggs (again, hand to the Bible) and of course glazed twist donuts... you get the idea. Walking past the panhandling vagabonds is a MUST... don't encourage bad behavior. I prefer this gas station for odds & ends versus getting gas. I mean right across the street & usually the same price or sometimes cheaper priced, you can get a better quality of gas. Buuuuuuut, be warned if you must go into the place across the street, you will be assaulted by stench of old smelling chicken grease... YUCK, gag me with a spoon!!!!! But back to Fuel Zone review: Like I said, odds & ins... if you want them, this place has them. Gas, if you purchase it OUTDOORS, is better across the street.

This is a pretty decent gas station. Hard to think about how exactly a gas station can mess up…read moreuntil you go to one that does. Simple things like, having reciept paper in the machines. Overall cleanliness of this location is acceptable. There's a gas station directly across the street that I try to avoid, mostly because of the pan handlers or some company set up there trying to sell me a 'car wash' in a can. Not to mention someone trying to sell me a CD (who still uses those?) or some cologne that I am unsure what fragrance it actually smells like. The prices here are typically the fairest I'm able to find. It's usually a toss up between this location and the brothers on Elysian Fields and 610, but they've gotten really bad with not keeping paper in the machines. I write all that stuff off of my taxes so the little things actually count here.

Not up for debate. *Quality selection of local goods including food, snacks and crafts. *Fried chicken-fresh, delicious and much recommend if you like fried chicken. *A name you will ask how to pronounce, say it once, then promptly forget how to pronounce. Now I just call it the good gas station with the funny name. As far as gas stations go It's the best, the safest, the only one you should go to when you're in the area.
