They trailered the UTVs to the trailhead for us and we were able to hop in and head up on the trails. The UTVs seem new and well maintained. They are simple to operate. Here are some things to know: -You will get dirty, so don't wear anything fancy. -There are no restrooms out there, so plan ahead. -The trails are nice, but not well marked. The land is owned by the tribe. Next time I will bring my handheld GPS. -It gets warm on the UTVs so thin clothing is great. -Our kids loved it, but one forgot his sunglasses, which you really want to have out there. The scenery was beautiful. It is not in glacier national Park, which was not a problem. However, the cowboy cookout was not exactly as I anticipated. The biggest concern was the steaks were cooked on a gas grill and cooked well done. We like our steaks, medium rare and they were cooked before we reached the site to eat. The salad and the beans were good. The corn on the cob was cold. The s'mores at the end over an open fire were yummy. We would go again, but would not do the dinner at the end.

About 30 miles southwest of Glacier National Park 2 highways run along the west side and the east respectively .. U.S. Route 93 west side, and on the east, is Route 35. I think one could plan a day's stop for the water activities or to just relax and enjoy the lake view .. probably go to the town and get some fresh harvest.
