We booked a cabin in the snow for Christmas, and Big Trees Real Estate/Sierra Vacation Rentals were the property managers for the property. Due to COVID restrictions the reservation was canceled by the management company a couple day before the planned trip. I understood the situation and we lived close by it wasn't a huge issue. Our money was returned promptly minus a $50 cancellation fee even though the owners of Big Tres Real Estate canceled our reservation. I feel that they took advantage of a crisis and benefited from a government mandated shutdown. read more
