Roger, the team leader, was very knowledgeable about our Redwood trees and shared all the details about how to correctly trim our trees. He took photos of our trees, even ariel photos with a drone, devised a trimming plan, and gave us a timely estimate for the job. His price was the best! He sent us a complete and accurate estimate we signed it on- line, and set an appointment for yesterday, April 17, 2025. He set a timeline for the job, was excellent with communication, and the crew was on time. They trimmed our two redwood trees that are over 100 feet tall and cleaned up the trimmings. This is a wonderful company! Said they would be here between 8 and 10 and showed up about 7:45, and got right to work. Confirmed with us how much trimming we wanted, as it was a safety trim. They cleaned up after and you wouldn't know they were here except for the pile of firewood in the front yard and the naked tree. Can't wait for it to get leafy again with new growth. Italian Cypres trees between 90'-100' tall, in a tight row, in a five foot wide area, up against our back yard fence, directly next to our built in pool. We had a tree that was about 20 feet high (if not higher) and branches spread out to the street and way over to the neighbors property, (which the lady wasn't too happy about). I called a few places to get estimates and Tom returned my call the same day and arrived that evening to look it over. He quoted a very reasonable price for a very large tree that we wanted brought down to the trunk. The crew arrived days sooner than I could hope for. They broke sprinkler lines when they removed a tree in my back yard. I imagine this happens frequently. As they told me... they can't see underground. My problem isn't that they broke the lines... it's that they didn't say anything... and when I told them they only grudgingly returned to fix it. Now... down the road I return from an extended vacation to find half my yard dead. When they reconnected the broken lines they just capped off one line which cut off the irrigation to half my yard (now dead) and cross connected another line which changed the watering zones. I only gave them two stars because they did a good job of tree removal for all the parts above ground. I recommend asking questions and making clear your expectations if your tree is near any sprinkler lines. read more

I had Big T cut down one of my favorite trees which was becoming too big for the space it was at by my deck. From my first interaction with them they were very professional. They arrived when they said, did the job and cleaned up the area. There was a slight mishap with the stump grinder and the some decorative slats on the side of the house but they promptly apologized, and replaced the slats even painting the same color as the house. After getting exceptional customer service from Sean and Tom with Big T's Trees, I felt like I had to create a yelp account to post a review. This company exceeded my expectations. Sean called me immediately to schedule an estimate. He called me right after the estimate and gave me an amazing price (I had received an estimate from a big name tree service in town which Sean completely demolished). Sean also explained to me exactly what they were going to do. Tom called me right before he showed up to our house. He was completely professional as well as his crew. They had to come back the next day to grind the stumps. He insisted on making sure the yard was clean, even though he was coming over the next day to finish the job.
