I stayed in one of the standard cabins which was a delight. Enough room, comfy bed and a balcony to sit on for the lorikeets, parrots and kangaroos to visit, graze and spend time. Probably the softest comforter and pillows I've ever had. Good water pressure considering the drought. Helpful and friendly. Large closet, mini fridge, desk and couch in your room. The only downside is the traffic outside on the road is getting nosier earlier, but that's not their fault. Will happily continue to work with them.

You have a…read moreselection of little guest homes to stay in that are completely furnished, with kitchenette, bathroom, DVD player, etc. There is the larger lodge-y building with commercial kitchen and sleeping area. Problem is, if you are sleeping in this spot, it will get loud at night. Perfect for the ankle biters, they can run around all they want. Large green lawn space, didn't see any snakes about either. There is a small lake on the premises, so those with toddlers will want to keep an eye out. The owner is an accommodating, customer-oriented guy. I couldn't find my towel and he helped to search the cabins and made some calls around to help find it. Bawley Point is such a small town (there is only one cafe and the hours depend on what the weather is like!) that our wedding party troop became the talk of the town as we invaded the surrounds. Also, the surf isn't too far to get to. Yes, you will need to drive a bit down the road, but with hardly anyone there to compete for waves, long boarders and short boarders alike will love it! Would not hesitate to stay here again!

Wonderful beach with rocky tide pools adjacent. Roos come out at dusk! Would love to come back for several nights. Only drawback is nearest town, Batemans Bay doesn't have a lot of food options.

Very responsive and accommodating to my son's allergies. They were always quick to respond. There was a warm greeting when we arrived. Filled in a bit of paperwork and then we got to make our breakfast choices. Lots of options available. You're only a 5-10 minute drive from Dunoon where you an find a variety of restaurants and bars open in the evening. All the bedrooms appear to be at least a short flight of stairs to keep that in mind if you have mobility issues. Otherwise the rooms were a nice size and very comfortable. Overall, I wish we had more time to stay and explore because we enjoyed our stay here and would definitely book again if we were in the area.

It was a great stay with a small kitchenette. I do prospecting in my spare time and know a lot about the history of the gold fields in New South Wales, yet on the tour they gave I found myself learning new things and tidbits of information I'd never heard before. They even have an area where you can pan for gold and I found a nice bit over my 2 day stay. Highly recommend this place for both the accommodations and the gold tour of the place given 4 times daily.
