I would not recommend BiggBoystatus Towing based on my experience. I specifically chose this company over AAA because they assured me they could get to us much sooner. When I called, I was quoted $200 to tow my vehicle literally one exit away. While I felt the price was already high, I agreed because I needed timely service and was willing to pay for the convenience. Unfortunately, once the driver arrived, the price suddenly changed and increased. The explanation was that they had supposedly come out twice because they couldn't find us the first time. If that was the case, why wasn't I called when they were unable to locate us? More importantly, why wasn't I informed of any additional charge before the service was completed? In fact, I had called asking where they were and was never told there would be an extra fee. What made the situation worse is that I was the person who spoke with him over the phone, agreed to the original price, and arranged the service. However, when he arrived at the scene and met with my son, he changed the price and charged him more instead of calling me to communicate the change first. That was unfair and unprofessional. If the price was going to change for any reason, that should have been discussed with me directly before the vehicle was towed or before any additional charge was added. Quoting one price and then charging another after arrival feels misleading. To make matters worse, there was an attitude when I questioned the additional charge rather than an effort to explain or resolve the situation. I understand businesses need to make money, and I have no issue paying a fair price for a service. What I do have an issue with is being quoted one amount and then being expected to pay more without prior communication. Customers deserve honesty, transparency, and respect. If I could give zero stars I would. I called to have my car towed because the battery was dead and wouldn't charge. He said he could charge it with his charger and did. Charged me $250, same as an hour tow, to drive ten minutes to me. read more

Had my suv stolen by Big boy status towing. Late one night I had been moving all day and was worn out. My wife told me to park my truck at our new land lords house and ride with her to the new house to get some rest. An hour or so after we got home our landlord called and told us her and her girlfriend had an argument and her friend had my truck towed off of their property. Even though I had permission to park it there. I jumped up, got dressed and rushed back to have her friend NOT tell me who towed it. The landlord was gone and wouldn't answer so the search was on for my truck. Two days went by before I found it. I explained to him all that I have explained in this review. He wanted over $600 dollars for the tow and storage of 2 days. Did I mentioned I just rented a new place. I just didn't have it until next pay day. By then he informed me my bill would exceed $1000. Unfortunately he wouldn't work with me and I could never catch up to his storage fees. So he stole my truck. The same one that I had permission to park it where it was parked. I had my landlord contact him and collaborate my story. I think he's immoral and down right wrong. He saw the love and money I put into my truck and he wanted it. Well Tyler you got it! You could have given me at least the chance to pay half or over half is what I offered you but you knew with your $115 a day storage charge, that a working man with 2 kids and a wife would never catch up. Oh My Gosh !! Thank you Tyler!! My friends and I had been in New Orleans for a couple of days and decided to rent a car a drive down to Alabama and Biloxi MS. Our flight left at 4:00 in the afternoon so it was going to be a little quick trip and back again and catch our flight, except for our flat tire on the way back. Well of course it was pouring down rain. We called the rental car company and they hung up on us and never called us back still. We were out getting our luggage out of the trunk messing with the jack and tire and here comes Tyler with power tools, that young stud whipped out that tire in 3 min. and we were back on the road. My sister-in-law and I were driving to Orange Beach from Louisiana when we decided to stop at the first rest stop in Mississippi. When we were exiting the rest stop we were involved in and accident (I was the driver). Neither one of us was injured and neither the two people in the car that hit us, but my front tire on the driver's side was bent and my car was not driveable. The city police called the next tow service on the list. While waiting for the tow truck to arrive I was thanking God for none of us being hurt in the accident and asking my guardian angel to take care of us from here. That's when BiggBoyStatus Towing showed up to tow my car. JR and Billy went above and beyond towing my car. They took my car and us to their place of business(as my sister-in-law and I had no means of transportation). I made arrangements with JR to tow my car back to Louisiana the next day( which he did) and Billy brought us to the Enterprise rent-a-car place so we could rent a car so we could continue our journey to Orange Beach. We were very grateful for everything that BiggBoyStatus towing did to help us out. They took care of us as well as my car. God forbid anyone gets in an accident around that area, but if you do I hope you are as lucky as we were, first that none of us were hurt, second I hope that BiggBoyStatus Towing shows up to tow your vehicle.
