This is an interesting take on a steakhouse that I mean in a good way. You can either order from the front register or use their QR coded menu that's available. The servers are extremely friendly and helpful. One guy noticed my New York Knicks sweater so we had a nice small convo about the upcoming NBA Finals. Compared to other steakhouse like Ruth's Chris or Morton's, you will get good value as everything is very reasonable priced. Our ribeyes were cooked perfect and seasoned well. The red wine braised mushrooms were a nice addition and I highly recommend their Cowboy Crispy Potatoes which are amazing. Their poblano sauce is great on them. This is a tale of a potato. Yes, I get it, this is a steakhouse. But, I haven't had a steak here yet. I work next-door and I've only had a couple of things to eat here on the fly. I will be posting a future review on the steak but I felt it necessary to review what I have had. The first day I ate here was the onion rings. Albeit a little pricey, they are the best onion rings you will ever have. They are awesome. Large, crispy, side of ranch or ketchup, I had both. A wow. But then last week I forgot lunch, but I didn't want steak. So I checked the menu and saw they had the fully loaded potato. If you know my reviews you know my wife is the steak eater, I usually get chicken at a steakhouse. Yeah I know. But, always my favorite part of the meal is a loaded potato. Well let me tell you, this place has the best loaded potato I've ever had in my life. And that is saying a lot. My former favorite loaded potato was at a steakhouse in California that is no longer in business. But fear not, as they have been replaced. This was the potato to beat all potatoes. Oh my God it was so good and so loaded with bacon, cheese, and green onions. It is a meal in itself, and I had a second one on Saturday. Yes, I will take the Wife there so she can get a steak and I'll review that, but I am telling you this was freaking awesome. But it doesn't end there. The wait staff is extremely nice and efficient. And to top it off they give you a cookie. And man is that cookie good. Seeing I work next-door I'll be back many times and try many of their things, probably even a steak at some point. But I'm telling you, if you love a baked potato like I do, go no further. I see people eating outdoors here all the time and they're all happy, so come and check it out. You won't be sorry. And don't forget to order that baked potato! OK part two. I took my wife there tonight. She had the ribeye and I had the ribs. The ribs were incredible. They have a really great rub and they are obviously slow roasted to perfection. Fall off the bone perfection. Comes with a little side of barbecue sauce which is really good, but truthfully I don't need it, they were so tasty on their own. I will definitely try them again down the road. But the ribeye steak. Wow wow wow. My wife got the chimichurri with it, and I am telling you this is one of the best steaks you will ever have. It is so flavorful and so soft. It is truly amazing. The level of attention was perfect; he wasn't all up in our biz nor did we have to put a BOLO on him. I ordered the ribeye, my bf ordered the Thai Steak & Noodle Salad and we had the shareable Brussels Sprouts. Let it be known I'm super particular about how my steak is cooked. Overcook it and keep cooking it that way? You've lost me for life. I'm thrilled to share that everything was the right temp and flavored REALLY well. What a fun experience! Excellent service from Jayden and Ashlyn tonight. They were busy the whole time yet I felt well cared for. Plenty of gluten free options, yay! The vibe was great. Music playing in the background was lively yet not overwhelming. I can't express enough how hard Jayden was working on the floor, taking out trash, cleaning, and still taking time to answer any questions I had. I haven't been for dinner, but what an awesome place for happy hour! We went as a large group for a birthday and got all sorts of things to share. We were there early in the day and there were the only group and we sat outside under the umbrellas on a warm fall day. For drinks we ordered the basil lemonade, the maple bacon old fashioned, and the barrel aged manhattan. The whiskey cocktails were really good and strong. We got all sorts of food including 2 steaks: New York strip and Ribeye, the BBQ chicken, ribs, truffle parmesan fries, onion rings, and caesar salad. Everything was good but there were a few highlights. The steaks were great with and without the sauces. In particular I really enjoyed the chimichurri sauce. The truffle parm fries were also so good with the steak and I really liked the caesar salad and the anchovies on top. We had a reservation, so we were seated immediately. It was our first time here so the staff let us know that the restaurant was a little different and that we would have to place our order via QR code or at the bar. There aren't traditional waiters. Everything on the menu is a la cart. While the food isnt the most expensive, it is not cheap either. I ordered a ribeye and my daughter ordered a new york. Both were in the $35 to $40 range. I also added a side of brussel sprouts that cost about $4. The food was brought out quickly and was cooked just as we asked for. The only issue I had with the ribeye was that it wasnt the thickest steak I have ever had, but it was cooked well. After our meal we were given a complimentary cookie that was warm, gooey, and delicious. A meal for 2 with one side and two sodas was over $100 with tip. Is it worth it? I dont really know. Texas Roadhouse would be about $30 cheaper and the steak would be very similar and you get sides. The ambiance and staff were very nice though so ymmv with the biggest little steakhouse. read more

Surprisingly this was my first visit to Biggest Little Steakhouse since they opened. My wife and I were on a long walk to a concert at RPM and needed a spot for dinner. We cam across this spot and decided it was time to try it out for dinner. We found a spot at the bar and were served directly by the bartender. We ordered some cocktails to start, my manhattan was a nice classic pour and tasted great. My wife and I split a Wedge salad, and Ribeye Steak, and potatoes Au Gratin single side since we were looking for a light dinner. Everything was delicious, the steak really surprised me by how tender and flavorful it was. We were there on a Sunday night so we were also able to watch SNF. The decor and ambiance is casual which I appreciate for a more laid back steakhouse experience. The service was great throughout the meal and we both left feeling satisfied and pleased with the overall meal and experience. This place has one of my favorite happy hours in town and it's 12pm-5pm every day. They did remove the Filet Mignon option for happy hour, but they still offer the Ribeye and NY strip at a good prices. My steaks are always cooked perfectly here and the sides are good for the price and portion. The best value are the cocktails for $6, that's tough to beat! I recommend the Midtown Mai Tai and the Barrel Aged Negroni. They have several tables available and about 10 seats at the bar. The bartenders were attentive and took our orders quickly. Never had to wait long to order more food or drinks. I can't comment on the rest of the menu or table service since I only come here during happy hour and sit at the bar. This might be the Biggest Little Steakhouse in Reno, but they definitely have some of the BIGGEST happy hour deals I've seen! We passed by this spot while driving in Midtown, and we're so glad we didn't make the mis -STEAK of not giving it a try. Everyday from 12-5 PM, they have huge discounts on sides, selected cuts of steak, and drinks (cocktails and wine for $6), making their menu super affordable and honestly very good bang for your buck considering the quality! We ordered the truffle fries, which actually had a strong essence of truffle, Conundrum by Caymus, their house lavender cocktail, ribeye ($26) + grilled shrimp ($10 add on) and Thai salad, which was not on the happy hour menu ($16). I actually enjoyed how they cooked the fries, steak and shrimp (albeit a little oily for my personal preferences), although I would say the portion of shrimp is definitely not worth the price. The Thai salad consisted of a hefty portion of half uncooked noodles (neither crispy nor cooked through) that I ended up pushing to the side, although it did have a good portion of steak. Overall, this spot offers great deals on their steak during happy hour, but if you want a higher end steak dinner, I would recommend heading on over to Land Ocean in South Reno instead. read more

I love Mai Tai's. I've had several, especially lately. This one was not that good. Sad days! So we tried to eat here 2 weeks ago (Sunday eve) about 8:15 pm. The guy at the door told us they decided to close early. Said they were changing the stove or something. Kind of odd to close at 8:15 pm. Fast forward to Saturday evening May 24: we arrived at 9:15 PM. We were greeted by Angela. She said are you guys having dinner? Because we are going close the kitchen early (on a Saturday?) she didn't want to say that they had a couple of big parties and the cooks were tired and she wanted to let them out early. That's a strange thing to tell a customer. Another group of three men came in after us, and she was quite brash with them also. She informed them that she was trying to close the kitchen early and that since we (my wife and I) just sat down then she could definitely serve them as long as they hurried... and not hurry in a polite way, but more like it was an inconvenience to her because it was her who wanted to go home... not about cooks. For the table next to us, one person ordered online, Angela actually said ' I wish you guys would've all ordered together, this is caused such a problem. Later, I could hear her apologizing to the cooks because apparently she made some mistake. I heard her say ' I am sorry I should've done it that way' any supervisors or managers read this, she can verify with the cooks. These are just not things you say to customers. You don't tell them that they made a mistake using the online ordering system. You don't tell them to hurry because you want to send the cooks home. And you definitely 100% do not tell your customers that it's been busy and you don't want to close early.... The only saving rate is the food is off the hook! Great food.. one other issue, I ordered a mai tai and Angela told me she could not do a Matai because she ran out of pineapple foam and it takes too long to make more foam... such a strange experience. None of the normal managers were here. They were very good at quality control, and making sure that people felt welcome. They never made you feel like you were imposing on them or any special request was inconvenient to them. Given the name, I was a little skeptical when my friends told me we were going to have lunch here. It 's definitely a sports bar vibe and the staff are okay, though a little slow for my liking. They have a happy hour and the prices are out of the world. I believe it was 26 dollars for a ribeye? It was excellent quality though, which I'm so happy about. I was craving a steak sandwich so I thought I'd try this establishment, I ordered the the flank steak sandwich and it was really good, prepared just how I ordered it med rare and the sauce was great, however the fries were not even cooked and drenched in oil. $25 then a delivery fee and tip, pretty disappointing for a first impression I called and left my number for a manager but didn't get a call back. First the positives. Nice space, friendly bartender and wait staff. Prices are reasonable. Now, the food. Everyone liked the salads with add ins. The wedge with beef tips got very high marks, as did the Caesar with beef tips. My ribs were delicious. Not so good or well cooked were the steaks. Ribeyes were raw at center, both tough and grisly, NY was raw at center. Mac and cheese was flavorless, béchamel was very raw tasting, gritty and flour not incorporated well. Very hard to park. We ended two blocks over snd midtown is sketchy, especially at night. Something going wrong with sewer system and it wafted through our dinner. Wine was expensive and very limited by the glass. I guess bottom line is that I would not go back. A chain place would beat this anyday and at $370 for 7 folks when only three had a cocktail, and 3 had salads as entrees, just not a good bet. Kinda feels like someone's passion project- I hope they improve on the steak, because that should be easy. Starts with buying good quality. Next is don't cook ribeye or NY from frozen. All three steaks ordered medium rare and all three obviously raw at center. One sent back, two just left on plates. As a cattle rancher, I can say, their beef was not high quality. Improve the steak, even if it means charging more, cook it right, get basics like Mac and cheese up to snuff and you may have a little gem...don't and you'll be gone soon. read more

Came here on Mothers Day during happy hour, first off the prices are great during happy hour and the drinks were both great, super fun. Honestly not a fan of the cheddar biscuits at all, but the fries were pretty great and the flavor of the steak itself was AWESOME. Big critique on the steak was the thinness, but again for happy hour the price was great. The compound butter is great on top, that I would love the recipe for. The chimichurri also was just very citrus heavy without enough salt, BUT a little table salt fixed that right up. We went to Biggest Little Steakhouse for my husband's birthday and it was amazing! The atmosphere is intimate and perfect for a special night out. I'm not even a huge meat fan, so I ordered mostly sides--and every single dish was delicious. The Brussels sprouts were absolutely to die for, and the cocktails were on point. The rest of the table ordered steaks, and everyone agreed the meat was cooked perfectly. The fun little cookie at the end was such a thoughtful touch that made the meal feel even more special. Another First -- And a Delicious One! The wife had a conference, so we were out exploring and stumbled upon this hidden gem. Glad we did! We were the only ones there, and Cody took great care of us--super helpful, friendly, and knew the menu inside and out. We hit happy hour, which came with some solid deals. If you can swing it, definitely worth it. The wife went with the salmon and au gratin potatoes--perfectly cooked and flavorful. I had the ribeye with mushrooms braised in red wine. Biggest Little Steakhouse - Grilled salmon with balsamic tomatoes - Steakhouses Near Me - Reno, Nevada

This was the only steak restaurant was opened in the morning Momerial Day at 11am. No other place is open until 430pm. The sauce of the flank steak was delicious and the medium rare rib eye was right one. The service was good and we got two complimentary cookies as dessert. I think the vibe of this place would be good for a weekday hangout with some fingerfood and drinks. read more
