The day before, a member of the company met me at the storage unit, and said I needed to do nothing. The next day, a 3-man team showed up within 15 minutes of the expected time, and within 2 hours everything was loaded onto the truck. Once the truck was weighed, I got a call that the move would cost me $700 less -- when does that happen? Eight days later, the truck, and the same crew arrived on a Saturday at 7:59 AM, one minute earlier than I had been told two days before. And within 3 hours everything was unloaded, a desk re-assembled, and many boxes of books and bookcases carried up stairs to the second floor. Never a complaining word; the team just did their job. I should mention that even the pins for the bookcases were removed and wrapped. Nothing was lost. I cannot recommend this company more highly -- and they are not restricted to the South Hills of Pittsburgh despite their name. They move nationwide. Now being completely over the idea of having a repair man look at it, I just wanted to get rid of it. Unfortunately this is easier said than done, since the garbage companies will not take them with the rest of your trash. After loading this beast into the back of my husband's Nissan we set out to ELoop to drop it off. Their hours, if I recall correctly, are Monday thru Friday 10 am to 5 pm. When we pulled up there were three men working in the back of the warehouse where you unload your electronics. It was here that I discovered that they no longer accept items for free. My 55" DLP cost me an Ulysses S Grant. That's $50.00 for the rest of you. I wasn't too happy to find this out but in the moment I wasn't about to say nah I'll just take it back home. Pshaw! We unloaded the TV and went around front to pay. There I was told it depended upon the size of your electronic as to what you would pay. From what I recall a 25" or less is $25.00, and a 35" is $35.00, all the way up to $50.00 which I believe is their max charge. They stated they used to accept recycles for free but are no longer able to. There are only a handful of places that do this so I was ok spending the money to get rid of my electronic but I would look to a place that doesn't charge in the future.

We only ever communicated via text (my preferred method since I work weird hours) but in both experiences, Tod and his team were friendly, punctual and honest. Their prices were the most reasonable I could find after calling 5 or more other companies. I am a female and I have, on more than one occasion been faced with condescending businessmen who seem to think I don't know how to find quality labor. There were two flights of stairs and my bad back would've NEVER been able to do the job. This laundromat has a decent number of washers and dryers so that I have not had to wait for…read moreeither. The best part is that it is open 24 hours, not that I really want to be there alone late at night. It is located across from the Giant Eagle and after a certain hour it would be the only open business and is isolated away from traffic. One night I was there late and was accosted in the parking lot by, albeit a friendly gentleman, he wanted to know if I wanted any movies. Ummm.... not really and that made me realize WTH was I doing alone when all other businesses nearby were closed? Yikes. Anyway, as long as there are other people around other businesses it feels safe enough. Prices are probably in line with most other laundromats. I think it was 2.25 for a wash load in the normal size washers and a quarter for about 7 minutes of dry time. They have a change machine that takes multiple bill dominations and I have used it successfully each time I've tried. They also have a machine for hangers (it was out the one time I tried to use that) and detergent. They have soda machines and 2 tvs and seating. I believe they have a restroom but I have not used it. They have several tables to fold laundry and rolling baskcarts with a bar for hanging clothes That all seemed to be plenty available. What I like best is that it is open 24 hours in case I need it to be and plenty of machine availability whenever I've gone there. I usually sit in my car with my phone apps in front of the place while waiting on my laundry. It has huge windows so you can keep an eye on anything. What I like least is the lack of cleanliness. Don't think I've ever been there when employees have been there cleaning up so don't know how often that occurs. All in all, it'll do.
