I'd love to know why it's okay to come collect trash at 1 in the morning and be so loud that you wake me up every single week.

In the last 4 weeks our garbage has been picked up 2x. Our bill is collected by Charleroi n is always paid. I have called a number of times n was told it's because of the holidays or they have a lit if workers out due to the flu. They always say they will put a ticket in but if they do it does nothing. There r times the phone isn't even answered which is a "wonderful " business practice. There r 3 families that use the alley we live on n the employees leave the empty cans in the middle of the alley even though we have called time n time again to please stop. All trash is put in cans and taken out to the end of the alley for pickup. This is definitely not a company anyone wants to do business with as u pay but they don't pick up !!! read more

New customer to them and I had an issue with my lid being taken off my new can on accident when they took the trash. I called them to see if they could do anything for me bc I literally bought the can the night before. The resolution to the problem started off terrible with the lady who answered their phone I call her the lady because she REFUSED to tell me her name then proceeded to hang up on me. I was pretty upset but then when I called back I got a very helpful professional gentleman named Cameron who u can happily say he had a new can and lid delivered to me within the same hour he definitely went above and beyond to make the situation better. So I recommend their services I have never had any other issues with them even the missing lid accidentally taken it happens but problem solved thanks to Cameron in the office....thanks again Cameron read more

I spent the whole morning trying to call about the pick up that was on Monday, no answer just rang off the hook. When I did get through I asked about the pick up and was told the driver had a medical emergency,,, OK I can understand that, now 3 days later still no pick up. I asked if they only had 1 driver, and never got an answer, other than you pick up day is moved to friday, sometime. I mean I feel bad for the guy, but if a company has no back up drivers, well then maybe they should think about training a back up or 5 ,,you know just in case. read more

I called and called my bill months ago and they were still charging me up until October 31st. My garbage was not even getting picked up and i still got charges for 4 months after i called and cancelled. It toke 4 months for the garbage company to realize they weren't picking up extra trash. After i called and spoke to the supposed manager she says well I'm taking it to magistrate. Why take it to a magistrate when its your employees fault they didn't cancel the account back in June when i called and cancelled. read more

I have made 4 phone calls explaining that I work and need my 2 refunds to be mailed. I have been given the run around every time most recently being told that the person in charge of the refunds lives in Florida and I cannot have her number and she cannot call me. Today I spoke with the owner. I have never been treated with so much disrespect in my life and by a business owner at that. He informed me that he is a multimillionaire with a multimillion dollar company and that he is enjoying his life and does not really care what anyone thinks of him. He told me if I was writing things down I could write that at 9:58 on 03/10 he sighed. And continued to antagonize me saying "make sure you write this down." He told me he does not work for me and I cannot tell him what he has to do and let me know that I could have my attorney contact him directly - but refused to say his name- but that I'd end up paying more for an attorney than what he owes me. He then went on to tell me I could call him back later today if I got bored. I never paid my bill late and do not know this man personally but the way he spoke to me speaks volumes about the kind of person and business owner he is. read more

AWFUL! I have been in the same apartment for a year and a half now, in a borough that uses Big's. Even though we follow their instructions (put trash out the night before, place trash cans in a visible area), they skip our house about once every 5-6 weeks. Each time we call, we are told that they will send someone out, which they have never done. The first time that I called, they snapped at me for not calling sooner (although at this point, I can't see how it matters as they have never done anything to help). I explained that since I rent and my landlord pays the bill, it took me a few days to figure out who our trash service was. I called as soon as I had figured it out. This past week, they did not pick up our trash again. My boyfriend called immediately. He was told they would send someone, but they did not. He called again the next day and someone asked him lots of questions and said they would look into it. Again, our trash was not picked up. He called again the next day and the person who answered said they would tell their manager. Our trash has still not been picked up. This experience has been very frustrating. They never skip our neighbors. We have never left large or inappropriate items for pick up. We get a total run around each time we call their office. The worst part is that they have never once said they were sorry that we were skipped or inconvenienced, and they lie repeatedly, saying they will send someone, which has never happened. If I had any choice in the matter, they would not be my trash collector. read more
