De inrichting van het restaurant zag en mooi uit en de banken waren  comfortabel. De radio stond vrij luid en de top 40 hits waren niet bepaald bevorderd voor de sfeer. Nadat het personeel verzocht werd om dit zachter te zetten werd hier vriendelijk op gereageerd en rekening mee gehouden. Het eten zelf was niet geweldig. De zalwrapes hadden stukjes avocado die duidelijk nog niet rijp waren en de sandwish had wat rijker gevuld mogen zijn. De rest van het eten was voldoende, maar niet bijzonder lekker. Het assortiment aan thee was ook vrij karig. Ik zou hier zeker nog een kopje koffie kunnen drinken, maar ik kom er niet terug voor een maaltijd.

Very plain and bare for a one-night stay, but I imagine it would be great to live here on a longer…read morebasis, making the room your own! Can be slightly hard to navigate around the hotel. It took me 10 minutes to find my room, as no one offered to assist me. Would've appreciated a little bit more help! Very friendly when it came to printing out a page or two for me.

I stopped in here after leaving my doctor visit with Sint Lucas Andreas. It was one of those days…read morethat I felt I really needed a big hug, so fortunate for me Dutchman was nearby. He suggested for us to stop in the student hotel, so I could take a deep breath, and relax for a moment before I headed back home on the train. Indeed it was a great suggestion. I really appreciated this simple cafe. I never knew that the facilities was open to the public. I thought it was strictly for students, since it was called the student hotel. However, I guess that is not the case. The Student Hotel provides resources for students and random guest.
