i recently visited this shop to get 4 new tyres and was really impressed with the service i…read morereceived. there was plenty of staff there and i only had a small wait before something was able to see to me. they were very busy but was able to look up the tyres on the computer and order them for a time suitable for me. When i returned the tyres were changed quickly and the staff even drove my car in for me (im abit of a wimp when driving in small spaces!). The prices were alot cheaper than i expected. The only negative i could find was that the car park was small considering the amount of business they hve.

The price of the rescue was also a surprise to me, at a small £30, my friends had told me they were expecting prices of £150+. Once th car was at the garage Steve, I presume the owner, was vey helpful and told me he'd give me a call an wouldn't do the anything without my say so, he then kindly gave me a lift to the train station ad I had to get to Portsmouth still. The work was all done within a day, but I couldn't get back to Coventry for another 4 days and they had no problems with keeping it there or me. I decided that as it was in the garage anyway I might as well get the AC re-gassed as they did I for £40 which I understand to be cheap. Overall the work done on the car seemed a good price, I didn't once feel I was getting ripped off, and the staff were friendly and helpful. So I'd be more than willing to recommend them!

These guys are great. They're not fancy and you certainly won't find shiny reception areas and…read morehigh tech computers. In fact, you won't find any reception at all. But don't be put off, especially if you're female. They have done every kind of job possible on our car from MOT's to punctures to replacing light bulbs. As they're small, you have to book your car in for the MOT, but for other smaller jobs I've just turned up and they've sorted them for me there and then. The prices are good value and they've given me great advice on getting hold of spare parts to save me money (my car's French and the French love to make you spend a fortune if they can.) Don't expect fancy printed reports with details of your service etc, but I've never had any concerns and you can't say fairer than that. Also, the address is a touch confusing, the actual garage is on May Lane, just round the corner.

So after we thankfully arrived home alive and without casualties he thought it would be a good idea to have the horrendous sound checked out. I accompanied him to Ratchet and Spanner, they said they would try and confirm what the cause of the problem was and get back to him in a couple of days. So after a couple of days they believed they had identified the problem, apparently the radiator fan has come loose and was grinding against the surrounding casing - no major biggie according to them. They installed a new one and. . . peace at last, relative to how it was, it felt like I was passenger in one of the smoothest auto-mobiles cruising the streets of Birmingham. £20 down and a functioning fan up - that seems like a fair trade to me.
