This is the best car buying experience I've ever had. When I called to ask about inventory. Heather, was so friendly, helpful and responsive. She introduced us to Matt in Sales. Matt went through pricing and answered any questions we had. I appreciate that pricing was transparent and presented in writing including taxes and fees. For my trade in, I was presented reasoning for the price offered along with backup. The number offered was exactly where I wanted to be based on my own research, so I am happy with trade in value. Matt was patient with us and good to work with. We ended up going with financing through the dealership and Rachel, the Finance Manager, had all of the paperwork organized and ready quickly and correct. I loved the digital signature process and clean copies of everything. I would return to this dealership in the future and recommend it to friends. We wrote a review a couple of years ago and were less than satisfied with the diagnosis we received. At the time we gave Bill Harris only 1 star.However we recently purchased a Cadillac and since Bill Harris was the closes dealer for us we made an appointment for some transmission problems we were having. Bill Harris was very thorough and Mindy was very informative and kept us up to gate on on all repairs and provided us with a loaner for the entire 2 1/2 weeks they had the car. Josh did the repairs and so far it seems to be functioning properly. The entire cost was covered by Cadillac ( since it was under warranty). We are glad we gave Bill Harris another opportunity to have our business. They earned 5 stars for this visit. read more

I had the pleasure of working with Dillon and Josh, OMG! They were amazing. I was previously working with another dealership which had me stressed out, then all of a sudden I got an email from Dillon, I responded with a call, he put my heart at rest by been very honest and transparent. First of all, I want to say that everyone that I dealt with was super nice. However, I had broken my key off in the ignition of my 2014 Impala while traveling from Indianapolis to Cleveland. Fortunately I was able to get the broken piece out of the Ignition. It was well after business hours so nobody was open, including locksmiths. I had the vehicle towed to Bill Harris auto and returned the next morning to get two keys made. I was trying to get to Cleveland to a planned business meeting at 10:00, so I was at the dealership at 8:00am, when they opened. It took almost 2 hours to get the keys cut, and I was charged $155. I know that the keys had to be coded to match the car, and I expected SOME labor for doing this, but not nearly what I was charged. This is precisely the reason that most people have a negative perception of talking their cars to a dealership (unless something is covered under warranty). I am reasonably sure that most locksmiths would have been about half this price (after researching), but I was at their mercy, and they took full advantage of it. I am glad I have my own personal mechanic back home that is reasonable. I have been a Chevy guy all of my life, but situations like this make me re-think my loyalty. read more

On Tuesday, August 27, 2019 at about 4:00 PM in Ashland, OH while in route from Indianapolis to upstate NY, the water pump failed on our 2006 Cadillac DTS. We quickly Googled the nearest Cadillac dealer, and found that Bill Harris Auto Center was only about 6 miles away. We were fortunately able to get there at about 4:15 PM. Clint Hackney, their service manager, checked us in. Clint said we could leave the car there for the repairs and drove my wife to the Enterprise Rental Car facility nearby so we could continue our trip. Our plan was to return on Monday, Labor Day, and pick-up our car and return the rental car and return to Indianapolis. Even though it would be Labor Day, and the dealership would be closed, Clint discussed how he would hide the key for us to retrieve it. Both Clint and Mindy stayed late Tuesday night to permit us to move our belongings from our car to the rental car. And they explained they would call with an update on our repair the next day. When they called, they advised they would have to get some parts from another location, and that hopefully they would complete our repair by the end of the day on Friday. On Friday, however, they advised some of the gaskets received did not have the right format, but they were scrambling to find them locally so they would be able to complete our repair by the end of the day, as planned. We were hoping the car would be ready on Monday, otherwise I would have to stay overnight in the area. When Mindy called on Saturday morning she advised that the technician, Josh M, who had started our repair work had come in Saturday morning to complete our repair and that our car was ready. We knew Josh had planned a family camping trip for Saturday. We confirmed where the key would be hidden, and paid our bill by credit card. On Monday when we arrived at Bill Harris Auto Center, our car and key were in the locations discussed, and we drove home to Indianapolis, and the car worked great. The overall all experience was very positive, from the customer engagement by both Clint and Mindy on that Tuesday afternoon, to the above and beyond effort by Josh M on that Saturday morning to complete our repair, knowing he was delaying his weekend camping trip.
